Subway in Birmingham

Worst customer service, came today at 4am for a sub waited for 15 minutes with no one at the till after having placed an order on self service, only to find out he is on break whilst working by himself, having put no sign saying so, so if someone was in a hurry they’d have no way to get their food or their refund, tried calling the phone hoping he answer, and had no answer, when he came seemed sick and tired of the job like he didn’t want to be there, terrible customer service, probably waited around 20-25 mins for a £3 sub

Absolutely great service from whoever was working at 11pm on Wed 2 Apr. Took a bit long because there were a lot of people in front of us but worth the wait!

I went to this subway early morning and had an amazing experience thanks to Khadija! Her service was exceptional, and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Thank you, Khadija!

They have a 5-star hygiene rating, and its a no joke. I have been to many subway but this one is best in the town. I always found food nice clean fresh and staff always very helpful 👌 ☺️

Nice place to have lunch. They are 24 Hour open but I usually go lunchtime. They are always proper busy but they never disappoint me with sandwich they make. Will be coming back again and again.

They need more staff having 1 person at night when you have 7-8 customers waiting it’s a joke

Visited this place @ 12.20 am on 22/01/25. Had to wait over 50 minutes for a Sub that took me 3 minutes to eat. Employee kept prioritising the Uber Eats Deliveries before the orders. Unacceptable waiting time for a SUB. Management needs to recruit another staff, especially for the busy periods, between 10:00pm - 02:00am. Will not be coming here again. Shows the Subway Management prioritise the profits for only recruiting 1 member of Staff. Awful, Disgusting, needs to get sorted ASAP or Close down.

Absolutely disgusting service. I could hear zohara and juweria taking at the back. Rang the bell 3 times there 3 people waiting after me. Then I had to shout if anyone was serving. The girl called zohara came out and ignored the fact of the number in orders and stared to to some who came after. I said I had been waiting before and she like was this not yours. Very rude!!! Appalling service. DEFINITELY NOT PROFESSIONAL. DONT DESERVE ANY STARS

The hash browns inside the sub were really cold. They should have been warm but were cold

I watched my delivery driver eat my food in a white Audi a3 and he just drove off with my food and marked the order as delivered !!! I want my refund

I live opposite shops, I’m a 61 year old diabetic and the driver would not give me my paid for food because I didn’t have to hand the order number, it was very embarrassing because I kept getting the last 4 digits of my phone number wrong, I called subway they told me to complain to just eat, he came back a few mins later with my food which was stone cold by now, I even showed him what I ordered, I will never use this subway again

It says 24 hours service most of the time i go there there is no one available as i left my work and i go to buy subway but when i reach there Subway is close Can you please arrange extra staff member there

Came into the store on the 23rd of August. The man working on this day in the evening around 7pm was very rude. Kept giving me dirty looks. His attitude was really bad especially and was very stingy with toppings. And took long to serve me my food even though it was made. Honestly this subway is known for its bad mannered staff and some of them need to be fired. Especially the guy that was working on this day. Worst experience ever.

Absolutely stinking dirty place the smell of body odour takes your breath away as you walk through the door the staff are obnoxious and arrogant and rude ,didn't receive the he sandwich I asked for charged me extra when I had a submelt will never step foot in this place again and put me off subway for life

Very clean and great food, service was a little slow and staff seemed to just be doing what they needed and seemed to lack enthusiasm

The cookie had a really nice texture to it and I loved how warm it was with the melted chocolate chips in it

I visited this subway clock garage branch on the 26th of March 2024 around 10pm. And the man who was working there was rude and arrogant. He was refusing to make my subway sandwich the way I wanted it, was extremely stingey with the toppings too and to top it all of he refused to give me a free birthday subway cookie as stated in the email - ‘show this email to the staff’ which we did and he said no. Fast forward a week, I visited today whilst naim and hina were on shift. They did an excellent job. Speedy & friendly service. They get 5 stars from me.

2 hours late, freezing cold and soggy

Reason for one star is the workers there would rate 5 stars for nayeem absolute legend com in all the time never had an issue bu the two girls working tonight really rude wouldn't make the sub I had asked for/ the sub I always get from there! Then decided to be even more blunt and say they didn't have enough meatballs so when I asked for a different topping other than meatballs they tried to decline service for me waist of time tbh if nayeem is working 10/10 but if its those two girls working no point going worst experience I've had so far from Subway😤

Just gone into the shop to find that i cant order rhrough the server and i have to use self checkout. When I'm paying £10.69 for a 12" which by the way is an extortionate amount I dont want to have to go through the faff of having to serve myself through the machine. I understand that this change has been made for 'efficiency' purposes but it puts customers off who are spending good money on food that to be frank isn't worth as much as you're charging. Not to mention the fact that what I actually wanted had run out anyway

I went in to this store last night 14.09.2023 I was so disappointed about this subways I was served by a member of a staff I asked for a hot drink and he told me in a very rude way that we can’t use point for hot drinks I used my points in every subways that hot chocolate is allowed on point….but he told me that it’s not allowed and it doesn’t matter what the till says it was very unprofessional but I wish I got his name but I was just to shocked about this service.

There is only one guy struggling between online orders and shop orders. Hence was definitely not satisfied with the service.

The food was amazing. The staff is well trained. The deal of big bombay with a drink is cost efficient. I would highly recommend. Miss Tasneem and karim was good at dealing with customer.

Food was so cold I thought it may have just come out the freezer- cheese wasn’t melted and bread wasn’t toasted even tho I chose those options. Deliverer brought me the wrong order and had to go back and get mines.

Vegans Keep away from this place.- Asked for Vegan Rockin Moroccan. They started preparing it and ran out of sauce for the base. Guy took the sauce out of other container and spread it on the tortilla. When he put the lid back on the container it was meatballs and sauce container. No vegan ethics at this place. I had to leave without eating.

How come I have things missing from order then I contact them they say they will give next time I order not very good tbh

Salad bowl was excellent even after informing the staff representative what went into it. Wanted tuna with the salad bowl. However, I was told we couldn't and could only have the salad. After a little debate, it was agreed that we actually could. No harm done, just ensure you're staff are more informed

realllyyy long wait and food gone cold due to the long wait.

Avoid ordering online waited nearly 1 hour 50 minutes and the food was still not ready despite there being a driver available. I placed the order well in advance just incase of delays but still the order was extremely late. Eventually had to cancel the order due to running late for work. (Uber eats)

Missing items, stone cold sub and wrong drink delivered

This map is wrong. It takes my orders to the wrong address. I have had my orders taken to 61 Roundmore Walk instead of 61 Chigwell Close. Can you please amend the map ?

I eat there from time to time.but today is my last time because I saw member of staff going outside to his car he opened door than touch everything than back inside and serve food to customer with same gloves. Disgusting. Dirty.

Got here for 6.10am stood at the counter and got told by the staff member, I would have to wait 10mins as he was moping the floor. I then asked him to serve me as I was going to be late for work, he then said he was on his break and has to complete the task as it is a part of his roles and had to complete it as it was going to close in 10mins. This bloke was mopping the floor next to 2 customers who were eating with no wet floor signs I then asked him his name and he said I will just serve you. Never had service like this before usually the staff are polite and quick, someone need to have a word with this guy.

Useless staff bunch of trainee. Okay apart from the two guys but it will be rare for them to be working there I will actually start complaining to corporate actually giving subway a bad name 80percent of the staff are incompetent

The notes obviously hadn't been read as I asked for certain things not to be on one item and extra on the other!!

Filling was missing on one of our three subs. It was just salad and mayo. None of them had cheese or were properly toasted.

One of the worst service received today 26 June 2022 as the staff was trainee who cannot make the sub why did you open the branch when u dont have proper staff who can make proper sub I am regular customer here but today was the worst experience I have got from this branch.

A few items that were requested were missing from the salad but on the whole, it was alright.

Food was late but driver was lovely and explained the restaurant kept him waiting.

Ordered two meal deals, one foot long and other 6 inch. Food itself was nice but the footlong bread was crumbling/ falling apart as soon as as I tried to take it out of the box, so disappointing!. Ended up leaving it in the box and ate it by breaking and scooping the tikka chicken. Secondly, the drink that came with the second meal (6 “) should have been 500ml, instead received the 375ml. Not happy all round.

Waste of money. Ordered 2 sub meals. Both had missing items, literally didnt even send out a sub for one of the meals! What a joke. Told them to heat fillings for other sub but it was cold. Rang the store for the assistant to tell us hes worked there 3 years and never had a complaint before which contradicts all the negative reviews on here. Friendly staff & good food as always at subway… Was my first review. Having been back since, there were a pair of young girls working who seemed clueless and slow, took us at least 15/20 mins till it was our turn to be served. I’ve never been to a subway and had to wait 3/4 mins, this was 15/20.
