Subway in Reading

The food is over processed and lacks texture - the bread is always limp and tasteless. I can't think of a worse take away

Firstly their delivery van parked outside has been clamped with a untaxed vehicle sticker on it . Restaurant disgusting , staff absolutely useless one too slow to catch a cold the other doesn’t understand a word you say . Avoid Avoid Avoid could definitely do with a health & Safety inspection URGENTLY.

Simply due to one of the staff going into the toilet still wearing his apron. Whether he went in to do the toilet or clean the toilet, apron should be removed before entering, basic hygiene.

The staff here was soo friendly they were chatting while doing my food which actually made my day they are amazing at there job definitely will be returning!!!

Stopped for a lunch subway, it was busy, but the staff were very efficient, and made me the best Subway Melt I’ve ever had!! I recommend The Subway melt, Italian herbs & cheese, spicy cheese, toasted, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, gherkins, red onion and mayo! Fabulous!

All of the usual Subway delights only this time the place was much cleaner than on previous visits and there was a new friendly staff member. The food as usual was great and my wife grabbed a Gluten Free warm chicken tikka salad.

Popped in here with a mate to be told that we couldn’t eat our sandwich indoors despite closing time is 40 mins from now. Sounds like lazy staff to me who couldn’t be bothered to clean. Also I’ve been here a few times and have had to tell staff to switch their gloves. Now me and my pal are sat in our cars eating our food instead of sitting on a perfectly fine table. Won’t be coming here again, get rid of your staff.

Foot long steak and cheese for me and chicken salad for my Coeliac (Gluten Free) Wife. Staff were friendly and place was clean. Ample parking and accessible for wheelchairs.

This Subway is on route on our approx 5 or 6 mile walk into Reading from home. We’d only stopped here once previously. Once you’re over the fiasco of choosing which bread from the various options, I’m yet to spot any difference I flavour or texture from any of those tried before, it’s the usual meatball marinara 6 inch with a grilled cheese and few bits of salad for me, no sauce. Was fine, meatballs were hot, cheese was grilled, vegs seemed pretty fresh, what more can you say, way to hot inside the shop to eat inside but it was a pleasant day so the outside seating was just right. Washed down with and Orange Fanta, job done. Will be back sometime I guess.
