Subway in New Forest

Rude member of staff ( older lady ) A nice welcome ? Not available in this branch !! First experience of this woman was to be greeted with an angry face , looking like I inconvenience her just by choosing to be a customer . The woman will correct you if you have any difficulties speaking so expect to be belittled and if you don't like being called my lovely well you'll have that as an extra anyways if you like it or not , thats while she looks down at your food wrapping it up and splodges of her mouth juices flow ontop of your food as talking while doing so , try to avoid telling the woman when she is wrong as she will try argue with you regardless of who's around , the saying is , we can't teach someone who don't want to be taught. An this woman clearly has no interest in being taught customer service. After seeing the other reviews the manager is obviously aware and couldn't care less 😒

Customer service is awful, asked for extra cheese - different variety, was happy to pay extra (and stated this several times) to be refused as I had to have set salad and cheese. Was told the reason I couldn't have the cheese (which was full) was that was all they had. Never had such a bad experience at any subway and I've eaten them all over UK. I'd retrain my staff personally. Definitely won't stop here again.

I arrived at this Subway at 3.40pm on Christmas Eve. There were only a few lights on but staff inside serving a customer so I ventured in to be told they were closed!! I looked at the opening times on the door which clearly stated they were due to be open until 6pm!!! Another customer arrived & went in & gave her order so I followed to be told again (bluntly) that they were closed. When I commented on the fact they were serving this lady (I was perfectly polite) the woman behind the counter blatantly lied & told me the customer had placed an order previously. Having had a conversation with this customer outside when she 1st arrived she most certainly hadn't already placed an order so can only assume she knew the rude lady behind the counter. Absolutely awful customer service. I will not be going there again. Having now read other people's experiences I'm amazed there is still a business there! At the very least this woman should be sent on a course on how to treat the people who pay her wages.

Just been in and thought I’d walked into Karen’s Diner lol 😂 the lady was awful, criticised the customer in front of us and there is no toilet!

Walked in to witness the grumpy woman behind the counter laying in to the poor customer before me who was a few mins early for his order pick up, I asked for vegan patties on cheese and herb bread to which the reply was “well you aren’t a proper vegan so you shouldn’t be eating those because they should be for proper vegans only”. She proceeded to huff through my order, the rudest service I had ever encountered. Then started to shout at the next customer behind me when she hadn’t done anything wrong. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing. Why does Subway let people like this serve the public?

awful from the moment we walked in service was disgusting the women would speak to you but not look you made it very hard to order. after being toasted, the sub was still cold all in all very bad experience

I have been here on 3 occasions where they have run out of bread. Latest occasion run out of bread and also run out of the vegan filling and chicken teriyaki. Other times I’ve been they have refused to put cucumber in a wrap because it ‘doesn’t bend well’ and said the won’t wrap the sand in 2 half’s which they do at every other subway. Awful service very disappointed.

When a shop has a big sign out side, saying we are open. You would expect a sandwich shop to a least have bread the main ingredient when opening a sandwich shop. Oh well not this sub way. Get the kids out the car all masks on and walk into the shop at 10.30am to be told when we sanitised lour hands oh we don’t have any bread ready and won’t for another hour?? It like Burger King or McDonald’s saying oh we don’t have any burgers. Not the first time this shop has done this. I would mark it zero but you can’t so one star it is.

I ordered flat bread ham salad it tasted plain with no flavour other than the green peppers flat bread was like eating cardboard. Expensive for what we got.

My husband and I arrived her and decided to get some lunch the man who served us was really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely.

I'm a regular subway eater and still find it amazing how they can differ so much while essentially offering exactly the same This subway in Ringwood I found to be very slow with their service however the food was good when it arrived My main issue is one of trust On our 1st visit we were charged twice for the food - this was refunded in cash having proved the mistake On our 2nd visit we were overcharged and then shortchanged again this was rectified BUT only after we pointed it out I like to think this was 2 genuine coincidental errors but I've never experienced these mistakes in any other of the 50 plus I've been to

We were served fresh sandwiches quickly and efficiently. They were good value and tasty. There is a small seating area but we chose to take our food away.

It is only fair to rate Subway for what it is, a fast food outlet and as such it is good. The offering is consistent, it is good value, the ingredients are fresh and prepared by hand to your order. This outlet has limited inside seating and outdoor pavement seating. the young staff work reasonably efficiently, although we had to wait far too long for a coffee. There is a lot of choice for food in such a small town as Ringwood but subway have definitely found a market and looks to be a success.
