To start, if they are fulfilling an online order, don’t bother. Short staffed, cold food and asked for toasted, limited supplies. Will not be returning here.

staff more intrested in thier mobile phones and talking about there night out than serving customers.. AVOID THIS SUBWAY!!

Just visited Cleethorpes Meridian and what a great pleasure it was to be served by the two young girls , very friendly and professional at all times , great ambassadors , your employer must be proud.

Yesterday I held a funeral for Subway Cleethorpes customer service. After sitting to enjoy a coffee and cookies with my family, having read the seasonal opening times notice on the door (8pm closing) we anticipated at 5.30 pm the chance to sit and catch up. After ordering and sitting down we were informed that they were actually closing early and we had just 15 minutes! Nowhere in store was this indicated (maybe a simple note on the door would help?) and we were not told when we ordered, despite my wife and daughter already being seated. I was quite upset, as it was a very cold day with nowhere else to sit. When I got my refund, the guy who processed it was dismissive and near aggressive in his body language and tone when he (with a red face) told me that no-one else had complained about it. I got the money back and have no intention of ever going there again if that is what Subway pass off as customer service.

Firstly, the price for a simple chicken (about 10 little chunks if that), 5 cucumber slices, a small sprinkling of lettuce, 2 tiny cheese triangles & a splash of tomato sauce, wanted salad cream but they don't do that & looked confused when I asked for it for my daughters wrap. £3.89......have a word!!! Secondly, whilst the young man, very polite, was doing this, with gloves on, a large lady came through, started pouring the old sweetcorn onto a new batch of sweetcorn, whilst shoving her elbow into my daughters food. Kind of makes the gloves preparing the food pointless!! Finally, after eating it, my daughter said it was disgusting. Would definitely avoid. Apart from the very polite young man who was very professional in his manner, it really is a rip off for not very nice food.

Love subway but unfortunately this is the worst service we have encountered the young lady who served us (Sophie) did not have a clue how to make a sandwich she got our order wrong and when we told her she did the order again and when we got back to the hotel she had still got it wrong so will never go back to this subway

I decided to go in today for a late lunch, I decided to get a wrap and I can definitely say I will not be visiting this subway again! I opened my sub and it had filling everywhere! The Wrap was stuck to the burnt paper and I could not even pick it up to attempt to eat, it definitely went straight in the bin! I believe a young lady called daisy served me and her attitude was appalling on arrival. she rudely told us we would have a wait (which we don’t mind waiting) but her tone of voice was definitely not how a customer should be spoken to! I would definitely rather drive to another subway than return here!

We went for lunch on a sunday because we couldn’t be bothered to cook sunday dinner at home, we got there to a very long queue and 6 members of staff in of which have no clue what they’re doing, there wasn’t any organisation and no one seemed to know what’s been done and what hasn’t, they over charged us and the sandwiches were so WRONG, honestly you just can’t get the staff!!! next time when we say no onion due to intolerances we mean NO onions, they don’t change their gloves or wipe down anything!! we are in the middle of a global pandemic ! you won’t be seeing us again ! if i could give no starts i certainly would

We were enjoying a walk along the sea front even though it was quite cold and windy. It was good to get onto the warm for a whole. For us service and food was good - usual subway stuff.

We thought that we'd have a quick lunch here instead of the usual offerings close by. Service was poor really and didn't seem to accommodate us newbies. Food when order was finally correct was fresh and tasty and we did enjoy it, but due to the poor service we wouldn't return anytime soon. Shame.

Subway is Subway were ever you go with usuall things to eat and drink. Plolite staff and ots of free parking.

I was very disappointed with the food I was served at this outlet. No taste to the steak & cheese 6 inch sub and the coffee was awful as well.

We had lunch here on Easter Sunday. Service was fast and food was excellent. There was enough seating inside on a fairly busy day. Only one toilet is a slight problem. Staff was good.

This wasn’t here last time we went to Cleethorpes,the 2 girls serving on Monday were very friendly and quick and efficient and the 5 subs they made were all delicious 😋

Had to pay for meat wrap even though we didn’t want meat in one of them. Chicken wrap was very watery; tasted like tinned tuna!! Won’t be returning

We called here a few nights ago as the result of a last minute decision. Even though the staff were getting ready to close they were still very polite and helpful. The food was good and we enjoyed what we had, thank you.

The staff here could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was typical Subway, and the coffee very ggod

Staying at the Premier Inn and needing something to eat, I decided - more in hope than expectation after reading all the negative reviews - to try Subway and was pleasantly surprised. It's nothing out of the ordinary, just a standard Subway, but the food was fine and excellent value. It seemed perfectly clean to me and (sadly) there was no sign of any "young females dolled unto (sic) their eyeballs with their tops unbuttoned" - see Mark S's review.

Been today for a quick Sub for tea.

For some strange reason the staff at this sub way always seem terrible, with the exception of a small lady who is always very good. The food is average to say the least, but the biggest problem is the fact that the salad all gets mixed together all of the time. Bits of cheese end up in the pickles etc and this means if you hate cheese be careful because all salad gets very mixed up. All in all never again.

this was my 1st time in this subway BUT never again!! 3young female working dolled unto the eyeballs in makeup and with their tops unbuttoned flashing some skin!! they were more interested in the young lads/ guys by flirting with them than taking care of other 'customers' i finally place my order with one of them, but i had to keep reminding her that i didn't want it toasting and i didn't want it cut in half!! the one on the till snatch my money out of my hand threw the change and cup at me, then she walked off into the back room.. NO OFFER OF HELP OR A BAG TO PUT MY FOOD IN as im disabled it was difficult to try and carry food and a drink in one hand. as i walked out of the door i caught my leg on the door frame and cut it open on something sharp.. the young female staff started to laff loudly... ill NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SUBWAY NOT UNLESS THE STAFF ARE CHANGED!!!

After my recent hospital visit in Grimsby my wife suggested we try Cleethorpes Subway as we are nearer to that one than the usual one we use at Louth's Fairfield Industrial Estate. So of we went when we reached it i looked in the Subway windows to see how busy it was as we slowly passed it on the road out front in the traffic. Well to my surprise there was a couple sat at the front in the window and the rest of the place was empty no staff at the counter nothing great i thought no waiting time to be served. Well we parked in the car park and i made my way in with my wife and she said you sit down and i will get our food. At this point there was no assistant to serve us, After a minute a big built girl appeared and proceeded to serve my wife while i went to get a table i went to at least 6 tables to sit down for my meal and my wife asked what the hell are you doing i said nothing and eventually sat at a small table near the front by the window. My wife bought our food and drinks over on a tray and i said wipe your part of the table before you put any food near it as it was dirty. Now the floor under the big tables next to us was dirty with trodden food under them bits of food all over every table i went to before sitting at this one basically the place was not clean at all and the most annoying thing is that before we went in to the place there had been enough time for one of the staff to go round and at least wipe the tables never mind sweeping the floor. My food was like slimy chicken tasteless salad and well basically a bad experience all round i personally do NOT recommend a visit to this establishment at all

Have eaten here a number of times. It serves the normal Subway menu but does it very well, with very friendly, helpful staff

Well my first and last visit... very very dirty not one table wiped st all. The floors covered in wrappers napkins food... the food was very below average.

My husband and I called in here mid week. Before we ordered I noticed two 6 inch loaves on the side were they cut your bread in half, it wasn’t covered up. We got our order, the girl put the cut off 6 inch of my bread with these other two cut off bits. We sat down inside and ate our subway and had a cup of tea. Not very impressed with the lack of filling in our bread, I had a subway melt so it’s a standard filling. The floor had quite a lot of food on it. We won’t be going there again, we usually go to Bradley crossroads subway which is spot on, so we will go there in the future.

A good place to make a stop at when walking along the seafront. We had cookie and hotcdrink but all the usual subway stuff too, including the endless questions ;-)

I love a subway, nice fresh salad BUT do they have to be so precise with it, one had full of lettice then they count everything else they put on like cucumber tomatoes etc, I don't have sauces or anything so why the hell can't you have one extra little slice of onion it's sssoooo petty , you can have one choice of meat and cheese but I don't like cheese so I go without but still don't get one extra slice of onion. Oh well nevermind it's tasty anyway.

Staff really helpful and we got served really quickly very clean and bright lots of seating areas or take away service

Terrible .. as a new customer buying children meals I found this an awful experience. No toy no cookie .. just half a toasted bun and a drink .. will never ever go there again .. staff were very unhelpful .. as the saying goes pay peanuts get monkeys!!!

Fast food. Cheap eat. Made fresh. Lots of choice. Ok staff. Sit in or take away. What more can be said.

The food was very good service was good. The whole establishment was nice and clean when we visited.

went here for a quick bite,the place was clean and was your usual subway,glass windows gave a feeling of space and we would use again as the staff were pleasant and helpful

i have used subway intermittently over the years, but never for breakfast. so when our local mcdonalds was being refurbished i decided to give it a go. i have to say its brilliant value for money a foot long sub and a coffee for under £4.00 and a free cookie if you fill in the survey. my only gripe is the noise. the music is too loud. and its dance music. please, not at breakfast time. and the loud shrill buzzing from the oven is ridiculous. you cant relax with all of the noise. its a shame because the product and service is great. i have had a minor issue with service in the past with a girl being miserable. but its only happened a couple of times, so i'll let it slide

My 7 year old daughter wanted a 6" cheese sub she put two pieces of cheese on!! She couldn't even taste the cheese. I asked the lady to put more cheese on she wanted an extra 20p I said but we do t want salad or anything else on it but she still said no! Crap never again!

Went for a snack . The bread was cold and almost soggy. The tables and chairs were unclean and the staff had the grumpy look without a smile. No friendly atmosphere.

Tight portions compared with London branches, service poor by staff who seemed tired and miserable. No atmosphere in the branch, lots of youths outside hanging around at night. The branch seemed more like a charity shop with raffle prizes, tables with horrible looking muffins and cakes, prize cards etc.. Not sure if head office would permit this.

My friend and I poped in here for lunch whilst Christmas shopping, my friend had the festive 6 inch and I had the chicken. Both were enjoyable and the hot chocolate was very nice.

Polite, pleasant and helpful staff. Food not just all thrown together as with some subways. Plenty of room to eat in, and branch was very clean and tidy. Close to sea front. I'd definitely use again.

Staff not very polite and would not let my wife have extra cheese even if she paid for it - i said she could have my cheese and he stated this was not allowed food was ok but staff need customer skills and training sorry we will not visit this venue ever again

Love it, as far away from hope but little one wanted to have just a sandwich and must been Subway. She likes it as its healthy ;) but also a little treat such as a toy or bag as a surprise ;))) will be back.

I visit quite a few times a week as I work just across the road, food quality is always good, service is fast (mostly) and staff are nice. Cost can quickly mount up though.

Popped in for a bacon sub and a coffee was earlyish in morning and restaurant was not clean staff just stood chatting all young staff so probably not know how to clean with hot soapy water toilets dirty my little granddaughter refused to use if this bad in front God knows what it's like in the back of shop owners need to tell staff to clean properly

Out at the boating lake and we got the munchies. Wher better to get a sarnie and a drink to eat out. We had chicken and bacon wrap and it hit the right spot.

Very busy, but quickly served and got a seat. Nice and fresh and great that you can pick exactly what you want in your roll, and what bread, and size.

Been here twice now and both times have been appalling! Staff are un friendly! To busy chatting and looking out the window when making my sandwich! When it came to making my sandwich it was shockinly made! I know its not going to look like it does on the tv but theres no reason why it should be made to this little standard!

Lovely friendly staff, a variety of meals to suit everyone young and old. Well positioned for Cleethorpes

A twelve inch sub is enough for two. We used it for the first time - will quickly become regulars . Can't wait to try everything on offer.
