ordered fish and chips with request of skinned large haddock and various other items for family tea , order was an hour late with no communication and parcel simply thrust into our hands so delivery driver knew it was already cold , on opening both fish were still in skin and were cold , the sides requested were 2 x curry sauce and one gravy ... 3 watery gravy pots were supplied , and the battered sausage tasted purely of oil , so basically i am surprised this place still has a food hygiene certificate with the food they are outputting , i would not feed the meals supplied to a dog it was that bad , there is no way of recommending this establishment other than to the local council to see how they are still trading

Ordered haddock and chips and I received a live carp. Had to put it out of its misery and kill it. Absolutely disgusting I’ve reported to food standards and RSPCA

I live on Neville street which run's @ the side of mariner's so it's EXTRA convenient, the food is outstanding ABSOLUTELY NO BUMF just great quality food, the owner I happen to know for a long time and ENDEAVOUR'S TO BE A TOP SERVICE !! .

Ordersd at 2:48pm and 2 hours later still wasn't there. My partner phones up told us it will be here at 5 minutes then my partner's son phoned up asking where it was, the guy who picked up the phone was rude to him swearing at us then about 20 minutes later the food arrived the jumbo sausage was warm the chips wasnt edible, my partner son burger was pink and it was lukewarm

I ordered a mixed large kebab, but it looks small/regular. The salad isn’t great either, no tomatoes, no chilli’s, no cucumber. It’s just lettuce and onion. Food was ok but I don’t think I’ll order a kebab from here next time.

food is always cold from here, everytime we have to heat up the food in the microwave and we don’t live far from the shop. chips for the jumbo sausage most of it was rock hard! and just slapped the garlic mayo all over the kerbab.

People on the phone were friendly, delivery was on time even though we ordered very late, we got 3 milkshakes they were very nice

The chips were rock hard, the burger was horrific, the bun was stale and rubbery, the burger was pink inside.

Expected large kebab to be bigger it was tasty and delicious but not enough there to be called a dinner i was still hungry after i ate it. For £8 i expected better

turned up really quick was hardly warm nearly cold. mushy peas where so watery. and chops where under cooked. normally don't have this issue with this taketakeaway but today wwas just not a good day for them

If i could give anyone any advice AVOID THIS PLACE.If i could give them 0 that would be too much. After numerous phone calls to where my order was and a very rude man on the other end, finally received our food after 2hrs.Fish and chips!!! Hard cold chips, dry horrible fish. Please do not waste your money. 1st and last time I will use these.

The lamb shish tasted and smelt like dog food, the donner kebab was dry and horrible. The garlic sauce tasted fusty and off. The strawberry fresh cream cake had no fresh strawberries, just artificial strawberry sauce. It was horrible.

awful service. lied on the phone when I asked when it would be delivered. they said it would be out for delivery in 5/6 mins when in reality it didn't leave for another 40. won't order again. blamed on the weather which wasn't at all bad at the time.

Ordered fish and chips on delivery. The chips were full of hard bits, but the soft ones tasted OK. The fish tasted good. The curry sauce was very watery but tasted OK. Mushy peas were hard, not steeped long enough. When it arrived, it was only wrapped in 1 sheet of paper, so was cool and half way through it went stone cold. They didn't travel far, just along Grimsby road near to Aldi so can't understand why it was cold. Afraid don't think will be ordering again which is a shame because we used go there regularly.

1 pizza burnt and hard with no taste of barbecue base

Even 1 star is too generous… Ordered our food at 21:15, it didn’t show up until 23:20. We called twice to get an update on the whereabouts of our food, the first call was at 22:20 and we were told our order was sitting on the side and waiting to be picked up, which meant it had been sat for most likely over an hour before arriving at our door. The food itself was inedible. I thought the other reviews about the mushy peas tasting like cigarettes were just over exaggerated but they were right. They left a nasty, stale smoke aftertaste. The battered sausage was slimy and the haddock was rock solid. We also ordered two different sized haddocks & chips (small and large) but both portions were exactly the same size? The chips were cold, and the desserts tasted like plastic. My partner’s battered burger was covered in grease and the batter itself was soggy. The only things that tasted good were the drinks. This was the first time we had ordered from here and it will definitely be the last. If you want good fish & chips go to Ernie Beckett’s, which is usually our first choice but they were closed and this was the only place open for delivery.

Chips were Rock solid and the garlic bread didn’t have to cut it it just snapped in half it was also rock solid and all cold

Disgusting VILE! and that's just the owners attitude! Delivery was over an hour late and when I called I got a load of verbal abuse! They wouldn't cancel the order so I had to mess about cancelling it through Uber eats. They accept your order then tell you 2 hours later that they are too busy and you can either wait longer or they will cancel your order! Con men!!

If I could give -100 stars I would!!!! Food never arrived! When I called the owner was extremely rude and swore at me! Threatened that if I wasn't willing to wait another 20 minutes he would cancel my order and this is after the food is already over an hour late! Don't waste your time or money on this disgusting place! The reviews speak for themselves.

Disgusting attitude and service. The food was supposed to take up to 40 mins to arrive. We called after 45mins for an update and were greeted with a bad attitude and told to either wait another 20 mins or cancel. We said we would wait, 30 mins passed and still nothing. I called back and got a bad attitude again being told it had only been 2 mins since we called so we had to wait 20 mins still. That was a blatant lie, it had been 30 mins. His attitude was shocking and he kept telling me to just cancel. I told him to cancel it, was hung up on and he didn't cancel it, I had to get Uber Eats to do it. Judging by the other reviews that I've only just seen, I've been lucky to avoid having the food delivered. Got a refund and went to McDonald's instead. Shocking, it's like he wanted us to cancel the order the whole time which we eventually did. Just close the shop or stop accepting Uber Eats orders if you're not gonna deliver them anyway.

We enjoy the chicken donner kebabs here immensely, cooked fresh to order. Friendly staff too. Big portions served how you want it.

A genuinely, surprisingly awful experience. Very late. Food arrived cold and the order was incorrect. Squashed pie, watery gravy, cold chips, standard pizza instead of a platter. Lied to regarding delivery time on the phone first time, second time a dismissive "call you back in five minutes". Never did get that phonecall. If they quote a delivery time to you, whether by ubereats, justeat or whatever, Add an hour. At least. I'd recommend trying somewhere else though.

I was dissapointed to have 4 Fishcakes with 2 chippy chips, and no spicy chips in sight. I don't like the chippy chips from Mariners anymore. They seem 'old' and no longer fresh. I much prefer the spicy ones, which is why I ordered them...anyway...

Margarita pizza had no tomato base. Chicken donner calzone had one or two pieces of meat, the rest was onions. Ordered a pot of garlic sauce and it wasn’t put into a separate bag, so it made a hole in the top of one of the pizza boxes and spilt all over. The food also arrived cold. Will not be ordering again.

I can’t give any stars but had to give it one to make a review, it was an absolute disaster honestly what a waste of money, chips were well over done and abit of a rubbery texture and tasted foul. The peas had an odd taste too but our order was late to. The worst take away we have ever had.

Got the enes special kebab which features donner shish chicken and shish lamb food was cold upon arrival (not a surprise when watery garlic sauce is dumped on top) the chicken was bland but some what moist. The lamb donner was half crisp and half pale grease, the very little lamb shish I received made up for the absolute disaster if that’s all I happened to order but sadly there was the rest better luck in the future
