Subway in Sefton

Just had to walk out, as a young lad in the corner had to be prompted up from the table with his mates to serve. He stood up, rubbed his hand up his nose and simply went to put gloves on before serving us. I just said, ‘It’s OK, we’ll go elsewhere. He hasn’t washed his hands’. It was disgusting. Walked to the Pizza Hut next door, where we got decent service, a smile, and it felt much more hygienic.

This is still by far one of the worst subways I’ve been too and I regularly use many across the country! The coffee machine has never worked in all the years since I first started going. I boycotted it for a few years but I had to go back today through lack of choice. Hoped they’d have changed but still NO COFFEE and not informed until you get the till and it’s too late! The place is still dirty and the staff look like they would rather do anything than be there working (who could blame them?) Been better with a greggs pastie, disgraceful and hasn’t improved over several years!

Thr staff were more concerned with online orders than the customers in front of them. My order got split between the toaster due to this so 2 were cold coming to eat it, even though we were eating in. They also rushed us to pay before the food was ready with one staff member on the till doing nothing while 2 others were rushing between in person and online orders.

Ordered a work lunch for myself, the order was tuna salad bowl, lettuce, peppers, onions, cucumber, cheese, southwest sauce and crispy onions.. Well I ordered it on the app and collected it in store, I brought the salad bowl back to work. And boy was I disappointed. The first error I noticed was the fact they had put spinach in my salad, I never ordered it!? I’m not a big fan..anyway I thought I’ll take that. I then noticed there was NO crispy onions, like come on, the crispy onions make the salads. I then became slightly annoyed. I then started eating the salad, I then became aware of the fact I had no cheese on it. It was becoming a bit of a joke, but I just had to carry on eating it. I’ll be honest, I was thinking how could they actually mess it up this much…surely there won’t be another error. Well of course there could be, it’s hunts cross subway we are talking about here!!! The idiots had put sweet chilli sauce on my salad…as well as the south west sauce!!??? Like seriously!! Absolutely pathetic, clearly someone is a moron or simply they don’t like their job. I definitely won’t be going back and would recommend to stay away at all cost.

Used the drive through. No hot drinks available due to knackered coffee machine. Been like that for weeks. Sandwich filling incorrect, but was quite tasty. Cookie was stale. Didn't complain as I'd driven away. Just wouldn't go there again. Staff member at drive through was friendly and efficient.

The staff today were totally untrained in customer service..the acting manager needs to be retrained.went in today purchased what I wanted went to sit at a unclean table .asked staff for cloth was happy to clean it myself was told quite arrogantly they would do it or why don't I sit somewhere else in a very bad tone.i to them I wanted to sit in window as I was waiting for someone I heard them murmuring and staring at me which made my husband uncomfortable.we decided to leave.i asked for their managers name and the area manger told can't speak to area manager but the manager said email them.whilst he's saying this one young ignorant young girl started repeatedly saying is it cos we said move to another table .she repeated it 5times to me I told her it was her attitude and I will sort it.in all the years I've worked with the public I have never come across such bad mannered staff..when I asked for email address another girl said google it .unbelievable .thankfully the manager gave me it ..I wouldn't go there again as clearly the staff do not have any idea of customer service..wasnt that busy yet the tables weren't cleaned with 4 staff behind counter !!! I will email but dnt hold my breath for response if staff are like that cannot see whoever over them doing much!!

Greeted by a lovely, friendly lady. One problem ! She had beautiful long plaited hair but they hung down the front of her body! As she leaned over to put everything into the salad they were very near the food! Ordered a salad. Sat down to eat it and realised I hadn’t been given any cutlery only to be told “ We are in the process of changing from plastic to wood!” They started rummaging in drawers and cupboards and found an unopened knife and fork. Thank you for that. Just as I finished my salad a couple sat down and asked me where I got my cutlery? I told them. They asked but there was no cutlery to be had. They were cross! Went to change the salad to a roll so they could eat it!

Went to buy a cappuccino which they make themselves using milk frother - 1st day I had one was really nice and made well, went again yesterday and it was just a milky coffee boiling hot! How difficult is it to learn how to make a cappuccino, it's so annoying when the staff can obviously see before thry hand it to you that it is not right, a cappuccino is not a latte! - unfortunately I won't go again as its one of my pet hates.

Amazing service here, I always come to this franchise as I feel the staff are more friendly and courteous. I would like to thank Ray who is always welcoming and a happy spirit. She’s lovely. Call in here, excellent quality and service!!!

Save yourself a trip and go to the next nearest Subway. Food looked like it had been dropped on the floor and scooped back up!

So I went to subway in Aintree retail park yesterday and took our sandwiches home and as we opened them my mums was completely saturated and disgusting ! I bought a donut which looked like someone had took a bite out of it we then phoned to speak to someone and was told he couldn’t take our call (after phoning plenty of times) he then proceeded to film us on his personal phone and started to shout. The shift leader handled the situation terribly it was arround 20 past 3 Monday 26th October 2020

Staff was very rude, toilets needed cleaning !! Food was awful. This was the first and last time I ate from this subway !

There was hardly anyone in this subway when we arrived but it soon got busy ,all the items in stock,nice sandwiches and drinks Also nice to see they were constantly cleaning

My 2 yr ols granddaughter loves your meatballs and always eats every bit, we vist at least once a month.

subs are still good not quite as good value as the deals have changed again place was claen and tidy and staff were very helpful

We came here for a "quick" bite a few weeks back. It was a Saturday so it was very busy and all the seats were taken and there was a massive queue. We didn't mind this but we noticed that there was only 2 members of staff on and they were rushed off their feet! They were so friendly and trying their best to work as quickly as possible and they were doing a fantastic job.The place was a tip though and I can't believe the general public can just leave their rubbish all over the place especially when there are bins provided. There was no way those 2 staff members had chance to get away from the counter to do anything about it though and really there should have been more staff members available. Our Subways were great and the service was great but management need to provide more support during busy weekend hours.

I visit this store every weekend and get the same sandwich week in and week out. The store is always clean and sandwiches are always on point. The staff are always really friendly.
