Subway in Cardiff

Ordered through just eat app. Food didn’t arrive rang subway said it was not there problem call just eat. Never use again terrible customer service

Like others have said befor! Food is ok, but the staff was kinda rude.... Especially the person that takes the orders with the bread etc. How she said what bread etc eyes rolling and with attuide quiet a mid age woman possibly in 30s + The salad person was amazing and the cashier was top notch and respectful with a big smile and is happy to wish everyone a nice day etc, She basically kept her self to her self ! Day: Thursday 14th March!

I went there because it is the nearest subway from heath hospital. My wife was hospitalized and I have to come here but the guy is kind of rude and avoiding person. He have an attitude like if you want food then stay there otherwise go back I don't care. I have to think twice before I go there. Although lady was nice and ok.

Like others have mentioned - I have been in touch with the store a couple of times about not being able to redeem offers they are signed up for (3 free cookies with a sub, footlong for £4.99 etc) - just to receive a generic response back from the owner. Will not be visiting again. Update - I went back due to a recent Footlong for £4.99 offer and scanned and paid first - and I got the offer this time. Not sure if it is just hot and miss? Will continue to pay first and see how I get on.

Poor experience. Ordered a delivery which was pushed back a number of times. When I rang to chase the order up the staff were of no help and frankly weren't interested in helping. Cancelled my order and won't be using them again.

Overall,Terrible to work for and the boss is a bully.

Didn't bother preparing or delivering my order for an hour. If my order cannot be dealt with for over an hour then I should be notified, or the restaurant should refuse to take it.

I go there to grab lunch from time to time and it's always quiet so don't need to wait and ingredients look fresh. A good option for a quick healthy-ish lunch

There's always an excuse for this store when points and promotions are concerned. The staff are directed by the owner to inform customers that the scanner isn't working - when it fact it functions and operates correctly. No hair nets or hygiene precautions are taken here. I've experienced hair in my food on a number of occasions, and the fact that it hasn't been addressed since the first occurrence leads me to believe the staff and owners simply don't care. With a Greggs a few doors down, I'm hoping that this is just another business we'll see with lights off and boards on the windows.

Shame the scanner for the subway rewards scheme wasn't working as that was the reason why I went their to use my points instead of paying. Had a salad with ham and cheese but was only given two triangles of cheese, the peppers were nice, lots of greens. Sometimes could not hear the person on the till because of the screen. Overall a experience like no other subway.

Staff initially refused to put chipotle sauce on my nachos, telling me they don’t do that because i’ve got salsa on them. Once I told them that I had been coming to this subway for years (8+ years) and always had chipotle and salsa on my nachos, they told me that they changed the rules because of the schoolkids. They then said I could have it if I paid 40p extra. I literally get this combo at other subways too.

Convenient with friendly staff. Not much more you can ask for 🙂

Very good service and very friendly staff

I’ve been stuck in a&e for over 24 hours and wanted some decent food. It was made so quickly and delivered even faster and they even upgraded it to a footlong for free. It genuinely touched me and made my day. Thanks to the subway team!

Bread was stale funny taste something was off with the sub was sour cookie tasted funny all went in the bun never again will I order from subway again one star is more than this place should have given feel ill after that

Really good service and nice food .

Incredibly slow service despite there being 4 people behind the counter and three customers in store, felt as if they didn't really know what they were doing and despite Covid restrictions the staff were missing up customers and orders all over the place. Food is up to usual Subway standard of good but service needs to be improved.

Finally a genius has decided that you can have meatballs marinara on an Italian BMT. Deservedly called Hero

The only Cardiff store not participating in regional Subway offers during this Covid-19 period. High staff turnover at this franchise; very little governance of social distancing and the counter is always dirty, staffed by disgruntled employees.

It would help if your staff knew how to speak ENGLISH before you employ them, the girl that “tried” to serve me couldn’t understand one word of English and I certainly couldn’t understand what she was saying, what an absolute joke ...it would be easier to get blood out of a stone than getting a subway from this shop!

Lovely food and atmosphere. Been going for few months now.

Great tasting food at a good price. Healthy option available. Be aware that some time ago many locations became halal only if that is something that bothers you. I can't remember if this is one of those locations.

its not a bad sort of place, there are plenty of choices, plenty of options, plenty of dfferent tastes to chose from.

Terrible experience. The owner has a stinking attitude. Usually go here a lot but the owner walked in as I finished my food. And I left my drink on the table as I walked out I just remembered so then I walked back in 2 seconds later and asked where my drink was and he ignorantly said “ in the bin now”. Terrible attitude. Will not be returning

I love the fact that I can walk around the corner and see a subway. Everyone was polite and the service was good.

This Subway outlet sucks. The person serving was wholly disinterested in serving and made a face when I even asked for salt & pepper. Usually I wouldn't have to ask as Subway people are nice enough to check themselves. He also didn't bother to heat the chicken for my salad and added lettuce even when I particularly requested for no lettuce. The Subway on near SU is lovely on the other hand. Never coming to this one again.

Small and poorly maintained seats

Dumb african girl claimed I said a steak and cheese wrap when I came in and said rotisserie chicken wrap. I mean if I wanted a steak and cheese why would I have said otherwise? What benefit do I get from her making the wrong sandwich besides wasting my time logic is all there. Should have been aggressive back but won’t make the same mistake twice.

Poor service and reply after complaining about customer service, the owner can not distinguish between bad or good customer service. Attended on 2 separate occasions and bread was not in stock, dirty tables and waiting for long periods of time. Will not visit again over priced sandwiches.Tescos is next door:

1 star is a compliment.Waited for over 20 minutes in the store with no staff on site, pressed bell, rang the phone still no sign of any service. Video recorded my experience. Shocking. As I left a woman comes from the back like I disturbed her all disgruntled asked her where she had been as I had been waiting for service, 'on the toilet' was the reply. Fair to say I won't be returning.

Friendly staff and good value for money.

The friendliest subway staff there is. The owner is usually in which makes the shop much more efricient. The shop is spotless and I personally have had zero complaints.
