Subway in South Cambridgeshire

Cons: Customer Service is often poor, I often feel like I am being pressured shout out my order at speed. Its a very uncomfortable experience. Furthermore there are often long queues to get served. Hence why I go to this subway once every few months as opposed to once a week or so in the past. Pros: Sandwiches are tasty and consistently hit the spot.

Food was not how a subway should taste, dry nearly stale bread and sales topping that tasted like they needed to be chucked out days ago, no cold drinks and when I asked for water got met with a simple no and no further help or explanation

Only us two there. Young couple running the place and keeping it clean and tidy

Great food however the tables seats and floor where grubby with at least two seats worn to split . Disabled toilet area left a lot to be desired in presentation & cleanliness . Please let me know when it's good to return Clive

Overpriced. The place was empty. £16 for 2 awfull subs. Staff are friendly but would never use here with all the different restaurants you can use now.

What an unpleasant experience resulting in walking out and not ordering… Firstly, the service was extremely slow (3 members of staff, clearly 1 was training which is fine), however there was around 10 customers inc myself and my partner in the Que. The one I assume was in training kept turning he’s back towards us for majority of the time and finally when it came to ordering they simply had steak and turkey left and then proceeded to laugh and say they were not getting anymore produce out due to it being closed tomorrow and didn’t want any waste. I completely understand not wanting to let anything go to waste however simply having two meat ingredients and this was only at 2:30 in the afternoon so god knows what was going to be served until closing… We could have at least be informed with a polite ‘ we’re really sorry but we’re running low on stock and only have x y z’ instead of letting us waste time and Que to only be told just before ordering. I will not be returning to this store! Management needs to investigate this store as I’m guessing it’s not running appropriately.

The staff are polite and friendly, the store is pretty empty when ever I go, so no queue. The loos weren't very clean. Card payment only.

Not happy. As a regular customer of Subway, I was disappointed with this branch. 1. They only had one option for vegns unlike other branches. 2. They have different prices to other branches for their meal deal. 3. The bead was old -please see video

I had a wonderful experience yesterday whilst visiting for some nachos. Chloe was a little ray of sunshine very polite and even gave me extra cheese!

Missing items, this has happened more then once

Superb service and friendly staff, I have been ordering on the app and collecting all week, it has always been ready for me to collect.

This is in a convenient location for lunch when travelling. They do struggle with getting things prepared when it is busy and with the social distance it means you may be waiting outside in the rain! They appear to be covid safe and have good practices in place, the would benefit from an extra staff member at lunchtime.

Aaron is an absolute G! So funny and amazing customer service. Never had such a laugh in a subway.

Came here on Sunday as I wanted a foot long and my mrs wanted a salad box.When my mrs asked for a salad box she was told that they didn't have any in salad boxes in stock.We then ordred 2 sandwiches, however we were only able to choose from 2 types of breads! Apparently they had been busy that day, this has never happened to any other Subway i have been too.My mrs upgraded to a meal deal while asking for a straw for her drink, again they didnt have any of those! When asked what cookie she would like, again they only had 2 to choose from.The staff member really did struggle to make the sandwhiches as if she had never made a sandwhich in her life. What was then concerning was that she proceeded to put both foot longs, a 6 inch and a cookie with napkins into one bag, thank you for squashing it all.Will not come to this one again, will use the Huntingdon one for now on.We came in around 2:30pm and the place closes at 8pm so i am unsure as to why they had so many things out of stock.

We really love Subways veggie patties but both this outlet and the Cambridge one in the Beehive Centre almost never have Vegetable Patties in stock. It damages the Subway brand as we would go more often, but you never want to travel to a shop as a vegetarian you have less than a 50% chance of them having stock. If so seldom have these is stock, why do they advertise the availability. Really should be described as vegetarian unfriendly. It is not even as if the issues is freshness as they are clearly frozen.

Nice friendly efficient staff good all round sandwich and coffee. Clean and tidy.

Stopped for a coffee and loo break on a long journey and how refreshing it was. A very courteous young man, called Justin, was so helpful. He realised there was no loo roll in the ladies and immediately put this right before I had chance to enter and politely held the door open too. A little matter but much warranted with a walking stick or at anytime for that fact. It was very clean, lovely coffee, luscious cakes and very good banter from him and his colleague. A good way to carry on a very dull journey and restore faith in motorway stops. Thank you Justin; so nice to see these days!

Called in on our way to somewhere else While the food was as a subway always is, the cleaniness of the store was a slightly different matterThe toliet was shockingly dirty and the store iseating tself is in need of a bit of tlcI appreciate that although there wasnt many staff on at the time of our visit, i am sure it doesnt take that long to go round the place/tables and have bit of a clean upShame really

Usual standard expected from subway . Only thing rather annoyed about was emergency pull cord in toilet had been cut so not a lot of good to anyone. But pleasant staff a sure me all is in the hands of management to get fixed.

Stopped here for some food on way back from our travelFood way good but the cleanliness was disgusting. Food all over the floor, tables had food all over it. I had to wipe the table down before my family sat down. It wasn't like it was busy either, we were the only people in there so not sure whether they had just had a rush on or the staff couldn't be bothered.

Place was empty but yet floors and tables were disgusting. Toilets were dusty and we were overcharged. Not good at all

My last two visits have been really bad, there is one member of staff who happened to be on her last few minutes of her shift both times I have visited and she made it clear she was not going to do nothing at all and had a face like thunder, I understand not many people want to work in subway but at least try and pretend, the other guy who was working today is so slow at making a sub it hurts to watch and the while he struggles the other guys just stand there waiting while a massive line of customers wait. today I asked for ranch dressing, I was told there isn't any (at the moment) but he made clear there was some in the back they just couldn't be bothered to go get it. all the staff that worked today could do with some customer service training, apart from the slow dude, he was polite just slowwww

I really like subway but this particular one us terrible. The franchise owner or whomever is responsible for stock replenishment and ordering are neolithically incompetent. The shop is never fully stocked and never has all the menu available. My one star is for the staff who are really polite and I feel sorry for them because they are continually put in the embarrassing position of having to tell customers "I'm sorry we don't have that".

On my first visit to the site, I found the young lad that served me was friendly and polite, but only of mediocre knowledge. True, he may only just have started, but his supervisor was nowhere to be seen.After I'd placed my order, and while the salad was being added, someone that I took to be the manager told me, belligerently, that I couldn't have what I'd just ordered, grabbed the whole thing and threw it in the bin!I then pointed out that my choice was on the board, so I was loudly told to leave!There were some workmen outside making their way in, so I took vicious pleasure in telling them that I'd been ejected for asking what was on the menu! They turned round and left!

I went with my son after football. All different breads loafs served looked lousy and not right. The teenagers in charge kept binning few on and off. Mine was hearthy italian and i discovered the lousiest qualty ever(still seeds or semolina or uknown substance on top and not very cooked) . I was surprised! I will not go there. Sorry.Amin

The assistant who served me yesterday was very polite and helpful. As I was leaving he asked whether I enjoyed my salad. Which I did.

Everyone loves a subway and they don't disappoint here either, friend young staff but do tend to run out of a lot of things.

Very busy, poor parking and slow staff only 2 working behind the ramp.

Nice, clean and well presented. Sandwich quality depend on who is making it as with all subway restaurants. Newbies are stingy, but the experienced staff really fill the sandwiches to the brim! Good stuff

My least favourite slow service often wrong orders and often sorry we ran out

Worst subway ever, poor service asked for my subway to be toasted and it was stone cold.

Staff are really helpful, friendly and polite. Food was as expected "a subway" but the only thing preventing the 5th star is that the public convenience wasn't the cleanest and they weren't that busy, thus no reason that the only table that was clean was the one we chose. Shame as it was nice.

It's a Subway... Relatively big with no trouble getting a table. Generally but not always easy to park at.

Nice staff. Food as expected. Queues far too long. Have given up as many times as eaten there.

Fresh made sandwich and sub rolls made to order. used by our son as a alternative option to the main retail outlet that is on this site the carpark is shared by the neighouring units so at times can be very busy and spaces hard to find some disabaled parking spaces are outside the Store but can be filled by white van man parking across both bays something for the site management to look into 2 hours parking controled by ANPR CAMARA at the front entrance

Went with my elderly in-laws a couple of days ago and had fantastic service, I'm not sure anyone's asked for just a ham and brown sauce sandwich on white bread before but the guy serving nearly managed to keep a straight face :) Mother in law said that her latte was the nicest coffee she'd ever had.

Not good Costomer service refused to make me a breakfast sandwich at 10.59am for me & my staff

I won't be back. I handed them a Scottish £20 note and they wouldn't except it and they were very rude. After my money was rejected the staff said it was there policy in that store. I have been in many subway stores in England and never had my Scottish money rejected. Absolutely shocking to say the least. Some staff training would be a good start in that store.
