Subway in Cardiff

Food was freezing, none of them were toasted as requested and all 4 cookies missing!

ordered Garlic cheese Bites Got Chipotle. there was only 3 in the Bag. food was Stone cold after asking for it Toasted it wasn't and it was Soggy with Too much sauce. very Disappointed

Doesn’t appear to have been toasted. Whole order arrived really cold - patty and cheese weren’t toasted. Can’t remember if an option on app to specify this, but this hasn’t been a problem before.

Food was cold and churro like cardboard

Never order online for delivery from this place! They always miss items and it's often cold when I arrives. Given them the benefit of the doubt the first couple times we ordered but the issues are repeated time and time again. Visiting the store is a better option, although some of the staff have a real 'can't be asked' attitude.

Sandwich wasn't what was Requested and the Hash Brown's were Cold and the Sauce had Exploded all inside the Bag. terrible.

When we go in to subway, the orders are perfect. Everything time we order from Subway, there is ALWAYS something wrong. Once, I paid for the food which didn't arrive. The other times the sandwiches have either had ingredients not ordered, the bread has been hard, it hasn't been toasted as requested or far too much mayo which is all over the wrappers. It is extremely disappointing especially as it costs much more than in store. I can honestly say this is the last time I'll order online again!

Rainbow cookie and Double Chocolate Cookie for the kids were not put in! I just can't understand why this has happened again when it's only a small order?!

Chrissie was an outstanding, I assume manager, who went out of her way to serve us even while she looked like she was busy. She had a nice cheery smile and gave us prompt, but concise service, making me feel welcome all throughout service. Many other food places just want you to leave just as soon as you arrive, but not here. I felt welcomed, and the atmosphere in store was friendly, and almost homely. 5* experience, thank you Chrissie

Delivery driver very rude. Annoyed as he had to bring it to the door.

Absolutely disgusting, spent over £40 for food two items to be delivered with no explanation. When trying to contact, the number isn’t recognised and the delivery took over an hour. I don’t see how an order can be so complicated? I work in exactly the same service.

didnt get all that was ordered spend over £40 for nothing, didn't get any of our sides or cookies. then couldn't even call them. absolutely disgusting.

All food was cold ordered large waffle fries got small and ordered two foot long cookies for the family and cousins birthday but only one showed and was more like cookie dough undercooked had whole choc drops very disappointed never mind the sauce was too much made the bread soggy but might be how long it was sitting there

I work around Thornhill area and stop in this subway for breakfast or lunch. Friendly and smiley service, bread always fresh and soft. Lovely sandwiches. Today breakfast 11/10

I visited subway today at 1, 5 stars for everything, Amazing staff, chloe is a ray of sunshine to that store and never fails to smile, make conversation and make us feel welcome. The store itself was clean and and our food was fresh and well made. I will be visiting again

Ordered through deliveroo. 5 meal deals 1 of which was a foot long. Well didn't get delivered 1 complete meal deal. Absolutely no cookies were sent, a whole sub not delivered and a drink not delivered. How can it be so difficult to put 5 frikkin meal deals together I do not know. Even more so the fact that this delivery took over an hour just to get to fishguard road is mind boggling. For 60 quid I think it's disgusting. Staff must be very incompetent. Ordered on the 26th May.

Awful service, staff extremely rude, complaining about other members of staff (who weren’t there) and swearing. When asking what customers wanted they would cut them off half way through to complain to each other about something else. This happened with every customer in when i was there. Ran out of three types of bread and said they didn’t know which bread was which. Sandwiches weren’t cut and multiple hairs were also found in sandwich (taken one out to photograph) Knife was extremely dirty and gloves were not being changed - very unhygienic

Very unhappy as we paid for two items and didn't receive them!

Unhygienic staff don’t change their gloves so much cross contamination and my sub had meatball residue from the dirty knife they used to cut the persons sub before mine. Does staff not care for allergy’s??? Where is the training?

Ordered 3 meal deals all to be toasted. All were cold, not toasted. Received 2 drinks not 3, both the wrong ones, received 2 crisps not 3 and didn’t receive any cookies at all that I paid for! Complete waste of money

Food is okay but £8 for a sandwich is a bit steep

driver wouldn't bring my food into my workplace, he decided to sit in his car until I come out to grab my food, I could hear him talking to someone else on his phone connected in his car, terrible service as I expect drivers to at least bring my food to the door and not just the car park.

The wraps weren’t as asked and they weren’t labelled and you could see what was what without opening the wrap!

delivery driver didn't want to come into my work place to deliver my food, rang me expecting to collect from his car. I wouldn't use this driver again.

Our order was completely incorrect. The delivery man came with a Greggs order although he proceeded to say that this was our subway order despite it being in a Greggs bag. I opened the bag in front of him and pulled out the order and showed him this was incorrect and was in fact a Greggs order. He took the delivery and told me to ring Subway to sort this. I rang Subway and they told me that nobody had collected it and said I could come and collect it despite paying for delivery.

Great tasting sub and cookie, wedges were a bit cool when they arrived

Clean and tidy little fast food outlet. Staff were young but really friendly and helpful. I found it a little tricky to see what i could actually order. Bigger, clearer menus would help.

What a joke this place? I'm in a massive queue two people as stuff and only one making sandwiches,another one is picking his nose.

Inedible..clearly stated no chicken. Arrived with 1 piece of bacon and lots of chicken, bacon paid extra for Third time this has happened

Food turned up cold and missing half the order! Delivery time was ok but paid like £63 and missing 8 items

Unfortunately I weren’t impressed with my breakfast sub. The sausage didn’t taste great and the eggs were disgusting. Also the chicken bites weren’t very nice either. Quite disappointed with my meal this time around! The actual service from the girl was amazing though and was there ready for me bang on time for collection. Just shame about the quality of the food.

Missing items on a basic order

I’m missing two cookies from my order. I ordered 3 and only 1 in the bag

Shame it was poorly packed, causing 2 boxes to open in the bag

Delivered 30 mins late, came cold and also missing a drink

Every time I order from here. It’s either half the order or things missing every time. My last order delivered drinks with no sandwiches. This time. Food missing not full meals. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Don’t order on Uber eats unless you want to eat something completely different than what you actually ordered. They never get the order right, happened multiple times. Good job I’m not allergic to any of the ingredients they throw in the food. Ordered a sub - what came was a completely different bread, different sauce and about 8 extras we didn’t ask for. So annoying.

This outlet never seems to open for a full day , there's always a reason for early closure , very unreliable. Looking at the recent reviews and the decline its time to shut the store. The one in Birchgrove ended the same way, running out of fillings and not enough staff or closed when they should be open.

If I could rate this 0 or a minus I would. For a start how can you run out of chicken during lunchtime and also cookies. Asked for no salad and just steak and cheese and was left to find onions and other weird things in it so took 2 bites and threw the rest in the food bin. My partner's meetball sandwich was found to have had a meatball so hard it would have been easier to bite into metal. I've only ever had subway about 3 times and that will be the last time lol but my partner said and I quote "that is the worst subway I've ever had". Thank you very much for ruining our lunch. Ordered online for pick up, got there and they didn’t do the meatless option we chose, we picked and alternative and added an extra two salads, when we got back to work we seen they had only put one extra salad in there, rang the shop and gave card details for a refund and told when the boss comes in he will refund nearly three weeks later still no refund!!

Sign said last customer served at 18:40 when they close at 19:00. Customer service isn’t great there either and they often run out of options.

No customer service what so ever. Asked for a steak and cheese wrap and it wasnt even a full scoop of meat it was less than half a scoop, ive seen places give you a decent amount and that was far from half decent. I had more gerkins than i did meant, well i had more sauce than meat, he over loaded it with sauce and thats all i could taste. Will not be going there again. Rather buy a can of dog food.

Absolutely shocking service lady who claimed she owned this franchise gave my wife Absolutely disgusting attitude. Claimed that we should go back to uber eats to sort out our complaint. She would not help us what so ever and basically called us liars. The food came freezing cold 🥶 the drinks didn't come with our order neither did our crisps. Also the food tasted like it was 13 days old the sandwiches were totally squashed. Nothing about this subway is attractive and I advise everybody to not eat there at all and take there business else where as the whole experience was absolutely horrific

Delivery…. Steak and Cheese, extra Cheese, lettuce, red onion and Jalapeños. I complained as it’s happened before this Thornhill, told them this was unsatisfactory and never got any response.

Can't wait to go back again next week

Disappointing driving all the way to you on a Sunday morning to find you closed when your Google opening hours states you open at 8 on a Sunday- please update!!!!!!!!

Nice food good service but a little slow serving

The door going into this place is absolutely lethal. It's a heavy door that swings both in and out. I only notice this when the little boy with his mother got his arm caught in it after it swung closed, passed the closed position then started to open the other side. He put his arm out and it swung closed again. His mother went inside, let the door swing closed and it almost hit me when it swung back out again. Subway franchise, somone will be injured and you will be sued for this. You Must sort this immediately.

Ordered via ubereats 3 times and on 2 of the 3 occasions the restaurant have got the sandwich order incorrect - and unfortunately it wasn't the 'toppings' which I can understand- it was the main core ingredient. The food tastes nice but it isn't what I ordered which is frustrating!

Social distancing is well marked out, everyone wearing masks etc. Really enjoyed the Tiger Pig sub today

Had an Italian meat on Italian seeded bread. Absolutely delicious! Staff were very friendly and stuck closely to their covid rules. Only two allowed in at any given time.

Limited menu but OK if you're in a rush/ can't be bothered to cook. Bit of a wait during busy times

Had a lovely experience. Went into the store to order and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff was also very chatty which was very nice. The food was lovely, would highly recommend this subway.

The owner of this place is amazing! I'm an NHS worker and I realised this store was back open. Me and my partner are regular customers coming in most weeks. We ordered via ubereats and it arrived on time with all our extra add one that we usually have, despite asking for lots of extra changes AND.. they gave us two free cookies with a little note for being regular customers! Great customer service 👍😁 we'll be ordering again soon! Day made :)
