Served by Aldo today, he was really friendly and provided great service. Food was amazing by grill chef Alex, would definitely come back to the bay restaurant.

A friend of mine said try Miller and carter for your Sunday roast, have the sharing block it's amazing she said. Well my partner and I booked a table for 2.45pm. When we arrived we were taken to our seats. We ordered our drinks a pint of lager, glass of coke and bottle of water. We ordered our food at the same time. Then we waited an hour before our food came and when it did the veg was cold and also the steak was weldone and not medium as we ordered and was also cold. The place was half empty and the staff didn't seem to be rushed off there feet. The young gentleman who served me was very polite and professional and was very apologetic about the long wait for the food. It wasn't only us who were waiting there was a couple of tables around us all complaining. We spent £85 there jusy for 2 peopel and left feeling under fed and a bit ripped off if I'm honest. I still left a tip for the server as it wasn't his fault. I don't think we will be heading back there any time soon

This Miller and Carter is by far one of the best around. Our server ALDO absolutely makes this place. He so welcoming, polite and friendly. Nothing was too much. I asked for a drink that was no longer on the menu, yet ALDO went out of his way to make this for me. I should mention the food. The steak was cooked to perfection with no long waiting times. Definitely be back very soon.

Very enjoyable experience, food was 10 out of 10, waiter Alun was also very attentive and polite. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be returning.

Birthday treat for my daughter, big thank you to Joe our waiter for the service he provided very polite and helpful when my daughter said she was gluten free he provided a gluten free menu which I must add not a lot of restaurants provide the food was great shout out to the chef Cai all in all had a good time.

Sunday set menu was reasonably priced and offered good choices - chipotle chicken starter and steak were great. Poached pear pudding was dreadful - pears were rock solid and the ice cream was unpleasantly fragrant. Service was efficient, but the atmosphere was affected by a lighting issue - exposed bright bulbs combined with overhead lights that did not work. Overall, an OK meal

Visited Cardiff bay today for a three course meal and our server Dan made it a very pleasant experience, he was friendly, polite and provided an outstanding service. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect Thank you for a lovely afternoon

Service from Aldo was wonderful. Nice chilled atmosphere as we came late afternoon. The lunch menu is such good value! Steak was really good. Only complaint was the fries seemed like they had been cooked a while ago and kept warm, and the top of the creme brulee was not crunchy/crispy. Nice extra touch with a special birthday dessert.

Dinned here on Friday evening, welcome was friendly and shown to table straight away. Drinks order taken swiftly. Our waiter Aldo was very informative regarding the menu. As we have a garlic intolerance had to have a manager take our order, this was explained throughly. Food was delicious and came as ordered steak melted in the mouth. During our meal Aldo was available for questions as well as making sure we were OK, very friendly person without going over the top. Had a great evening dinning here.

Food was great but the service was top notch. Sky made the experience really good. The onion loaf was so good, can’t recommend it enough.

Have been to M&C many times but this was our best experience so far. The food was plentiful and tasted great. I had the Dirty Burger and my wife had the Lamb Rump. We had to wait a little for the lamb to be well cooked but that is to be expected. We had a chat with our waiter Attila originally from Hungary and who served us cheerfully and professionally.

Superb tasting fillet steak as unusual but a little stringy in places this time. Good attentive service from Aldo. Strange that on the ‘which dishes do you recommend’ it doesn’t have fillet steak. I do strongly recommend it!

Amazing service from Aldo x and amazing food

At first glance of the menu you can see that it’s well thought out and there is a little of something for everyone but it does seem a little on the expensive side. Our steak expert was Alan, he was very knowledgeable and helpful in going through the different steaks on offer. We went for the 16oz ribeye - I’ve never had a steak that tasted so good. It was cooked to perfection (as recommended by Alan), and so full of flavour. The onion bread that accompanied the meat was such a wonderful surprise, I’m not sure why it works but it does and is delicious. After the meal when I was fat and full and reflecting on the meal, the price didn’t come into it as it was such good value. We came back two nights later and did it all again, this time going for other menu option's. The results however were the same. Well done and thank you to Alan, he really looked after us on both of our visits.

Went to miller and carter Cardiff bay with 3 other friends l had never been before really enjoyed.Our server was Attila very professional and efficient.Harry was our grill chef couldn't fault the food excellent.Would definitely visit again.

The food was spectacular, made by a very talented Cai. The customer service was out of this world with Joe being outstanding. Checking in on us and not feeling like it was over bearing. Great at keeping the mood and communication going. The area was well placed between the Future Inn and TravelLodge.

Had a good adult experience about 2 years ago, decided to take the children this time and it was terrible!! prawn an avacardo cocktail starters were all wrong and very bland Adult main course lovely but the childrens meal steak age 7, 10 ,12, was awful cooked wrong to what was asked for and was like chewing gristle!!! And to top it off they had an ice cream sorbet for sweet which should be a pallet cleanser not 3 scopes which were disgusting very sad as very expensive which was expected wanted them to experience a beautiful steak from a great steakhouse and after tonight they want to be vegetarians.

Came for a midweek celebration meal. Surprisingly good atmosphere for mid week, good food (portions also bigger than expected). Mr Aldo provided very nice tables service. Will visit again

I don't usually eat steak but had been bought vouchers for my birthday. Our waiter Aldo was very patient and offered recommendations for a 'first timer' The meal was delicious, lovely relaxed atmosphere.

What an amazing night we had to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We received a lovely hand written card and a beautiful dessert decoration, which made us feel so special. The staff were exceptional our server was attill who couldn't do enough for us and our chef was cai and the food was absolutely stunning. Just the personal touches made our anniversary so special and we thank you so much.

We dined here twice this week while in Cardiff Bay. The food was fresh, well presented and warm. There was no comparison to the meal we had in kidlington on Valentine’s evening! The staff were attentive and efficient. We had starters, garlic mushrooms and olives, mains , pithivier and lobster. Puddings were apple crumble with custard. All reasonably priced and very good. Will go back next time at Cardiff Bay!
