Muy popular entre los lugareños, que pueden traer a sus perros, este es un lugar luminoso y agradable, aunque puede llegar a ser muy ruidoso cuando está lleno. El personal es extremadamente amable y aparte de café hay varios sándwiches y pasteles con artículos como salchicha Cumberland a base de plantas que se calienta. No es el lugar más barato para tomar un café, pero animado y luminoso

ok coffee but wouldn't return due to dogs barking in the cafe itself, leave them outside, why spoil it for others.....shame

Used to be really great but the quality of some of food products seem to have slipped (e.g. sourdough bread). Lovely atmosphere and service is always great.

Coffee Lab is a nice and clean place to drink tea and coffee, and they have places to sit outside in the open air

Nos encanta este lugar, vienen aquí la mayoría de los fines de semana para un café y ya sea una pastelería si es la hora del desayuno o un delicioso sándwich a la hora del almuerzo. Me encanta el hecho de que es amigable para perros y siempre tan impecablemente limpio. El personal es encantador y el entorno es genial, moderno pero acogedor. Me ha hecho reír que un par de personas que han dejado un comentario se han quejado de perros que están presentes, no VISITAR UNA CAFETERÍA AMIGABLE PARA PERROS SI NO TE GUSTAN LOS PERROS! ! Visitamos Coffi Lab todos los lunes y el café, la comida y el personal son simplemente increíbles! Bastante confundido sobre las críticas que se quejan de los perros - la cafetería se llama "Coffi Lab" como en Labrador (también es el logotipo! ) . . . recaudan dinero para las organizaciones benéficas de perros guía, de ahí el nombre, la amabilidad del perro y la presencia de ... perros! ¡Nuestra cafetería favorita!

We've been coming hear since it's opening and we find it the best of all the coffee labs . The staff are always friendly not only to us but too everyone. The manager even remembers our drinks .

Todo es bueno, agradable y profesional, pero grandes moscas en la pantalla de vidrio donde están todos los panecillos y pasteles. No me parece genial. Deberías tener la luz eléctrica de la mosca. Espero que hagas algo al respecto porque de lo contrario tu café es encantador.

Awful atmosphere in this coffee shop used to have pleasant staff but think they are no longer there , things have changed since my previous visit in February and definitely won’t be returning , my toastie was served with a hair clearly visable but the manger wasn’t available when I asked to speak as wasn’t happy paying full price as had to leave it , and the coffee was tastless and Luke warm

Been here a few times. Coffee always excellent and have had some lovely cakes and pastries. Tried the toasted chicken pesto sandwich today which was a bit of a disappointment. Hence the 3 stars. None of the flavours came through. Will be back for coffee and cakes. May be avoid the sandwiches.

Visited this coffee shop whilst in Cardiff , what a experience over crowded & noisy, found the presence of dogs licking there paws around me whilst eating very off putting , the coffee was bitter tasting but the food was tasty , the manager seemed to have no interest in the issue with a dog at my feet under the table , I have no problems with dogs but there is a time and a place and shouldn’t be around other customers tables around food very unhygienic to say the least 🤢

One of the best coffee shops in Cardiff and definitely the best Coffi Lab. The outdoor seating is *the* place to be seen in Rhiwbina in the warmer weather. Great coffee and a good selection of cakes. Highly recommend the almond croissant, the blueberry muffin and the carrot cake. Everything topped off with friendly and polite staff - thank you so much for taking the time the other day to provide my six year old with a pen and paper.

Without doubt my favourite coffee shop. Great coffee, good food, fast WiFi and a generally nice environment to be in however it’s the staff that make it such a warm and welcoming place: Kaleigh, Mike and Jamie, Liv, Beth, Milly, Abbie/y - and all the rest of the team!

After a stroll in Caedelyn Park with my two dogs, we had a lovely lunch. The service was extremely friendly, the food was delicious and my dogs were very welcomed. They handled my dietary requirement with grace and therefore I would come back again perhaps for afternoon tea.

Came here at the weekend, great atmosphere and the staff were all really lovely! I had the ham and cheese croissant and the red velvet cake, both were absolutely delectable, I definitely recommend. Cant wait to come back with some friends!

Took my dog for a coffee here earlier and he was well chuffed. His tail didn't stop wagging with the staff calling him a good boy - I thought he would take off like a helicopter! The coffee is great and the atmosphere is just as good.

Wow the coffee lab has really taken off in Rhiwbina. Always packed and great atmosphere. Parking a nightmare. Cake and coffee lovely. However they are very expensive and no healthy option food.

Lovely venue in the heart of the Village. Friendly and welcoming, great atmosphere, nice choice of delicious coffee and a wide range of tasty food.

Your tea pots are too large for just one tea bag- the tea never gets to strength because of this. Smaller pots or more tea bags

A popular café with a dog vibe, amazing fundraising for Guide Dogs! Lots of cakes, croissants, etc. to choose from and lovely breakfast items too; breakfast baps, overnight oats etc. They even have a doggie menu and dog biscuits for sale with funds going to Guide Dogs! Dog friendly but wasn't over run with them! A lovely spot from a panad and watch the world go by!

Right in Rhiwbina village. OK for a snack or cake but not a great choice if expecting more. Always busy. Great outdoor sitting area to watch world go by. Dog friendly inside and out. Fab addition to the village.

Good coffee, cakes and light lunches. Noisier than the Whitchurch branch. Covered veranda in front of the café has outdoor seating with a number of blankets provided.

First time visiting here and really enjoyed it. The tea was very good quality and the Welsh cakes were really tasty. It had a nice pleasant atmosphere, the staff were friendly and welcoming and it's dog friendly too. All in all would definitely recommend.

Nice new coffee shop. I have visited a few times, and the points to note are that they only sell one size of coffee, which is a bit disappointing as I like a mug! Also, no fancy hot chocolate. The till is located near to the door as you walk in on the left so everyone is queuing out to the door and you don't get chance to see what pastries are on offer unless you get the people waiting for their drinks to shift out of the way and make everyone wait to order while you are looking. There's another till hidden down the end of the room, but you wouldn't know it was there as its behind a pillar and all of the customers waiting for their drinks. The atmosphere is ok as long as you don't mind dogs and children as it can get a bit noisy. I've had a few delicious cakes and pastries but not tried a sandwich as they are in a fridge away from the queue for the till and didn't want to lose my place. There's a sizeable outdoor area with blankets. I've not tried this due to the freezing weather but will be popular in the summer, I'm sure.

Good reviews, but why do you insist on having your outside lights on during daylight hours? The glare from the lights are so obvious throughout the village and make it look like a cheap resort. The village supports its own ‘Eco team’ who try to encourage the provision of appropriate facilities and behaviour. Operating the lights, as you do, demonstrates a total lack of understanding and support to energy usage. You did promise several months ago not to operate them in daylight hours. It would be nice if this was the case. Further to Rachael’s response. I think you are missing the point, the review is not about customer experience. It’s about your impact on the local environment. Perhaps an appropriately designed lighting scheme is the answer.

Nice coffee shop chain, with this one located in the village of Rhiwbina. It's not as nice nor spacious as the one in Llandaff. Maybe too dog friendly for my liking.

Nice cafe, though sometimes get the feeling they like to turn the tables around fairly regularly.
