Nice fresh food, overpriced though

Cookie I ordered for the meal deal was missing, as were the crispy onions. The waffle fries were very limp and soggy. First, and probably the last time ordering from this restaurant.

Wrong cookies sent, if you don’t have them I shouldn’t be able to order them. Garlic bread squashed and completely unappetising. Toastie cold.

The only complaint I got the delivery time keep on changing but the food was nice

im a regular subways buyer i never have a problem i always come 1s a week to the subways in Batley (bristall wf17 8nn) first of all it always looks closed cuz the workers are sat in the back on they phones. then you come in its like they forced to make your b with the most unwelcoming mistable faces ever ! today i had the chubby lady with the purple hair. oh my days where do i start so miserable didnt even give me eye contacts or even smiled she was so angry i made her get up from the back and also she charged me extra for sauce iv never had that before in any other branch PLEASE GET NEW WORKERS ! i will take it further next time

Shocking delivery and food was freezing

food delivered on time but 1 item was missing. raised this as an issue and was denied a refund of the missing item. so I've paid for something I never received.

Meal arrived after 40mins from ordering when only 15mins away. When meal arrived, both meals were clock cold!!

Subpar food. Terribly miserable service. I've been here a few times a year for maybe ten years, hoping it's improved each time. It never does. The food is rushed, overpriced and disappointing. The staff are miserable, and even rude at times. I could deal with the food not being perfect, but the attitude from the staff almost turns the food sour. I doubt I'll be going again. I've given this place too many tries.

Food perfect again! One of the only places that always gets my order correct. All the food came warm was delivered 16 mins after I placed the order and sandwich is always full of salad not stingy at all!

they tell you that if you spend 15 quid u get a free taco beef wrap so i spent 26 quid and got nothing. didnt answer the phone despite 2 calls.

hash brown's cold and soggy, bread mis-shaped, peppers soggy hardly any tuna in and if that wasn't bad enough my cookie wasn't delivered! couldn't order a meal deal like the other subways. will not be going back to that branch, don't know why just eat choose that one, which is farther away, as my closest as, there's one just around the corner from me.

Sandwich was cold when it arrived even tho it had been toasted, vegetables in the sandwich was soggy, nothing was eaten went straight into the bin

I watched the delivery driver drive in the opposite direction to make another delivery. If this was another just eat order then fair enough but this was not communicated via just eat. A normal driving time of 10 mins from Birstall took over 30 mins.

I got the wrong food, I ordered chicken tikka and cheese and got ham and cheese, I am allergic to ham. Would like a refund

Great staff, very clean. Attentive to dietary requirements and convenient for commute. Hill a tad steep on entry so don't rush in 🤣 Staff really bubbly and chatty

Staff talking about her blocked toilet at home while making my sandwich. I’ve had a few rude experiences with the same member of staff.the food is as you’d expect however.

Was sent the wrong order had to go and pick up the correct order as they did not have any drivers to deliver. This subway cost me over £20 as I did not have a car and had to book an Uber … not happy at all

The sandwich was old, vegetables were so old it stunk!!!! I want my money back!

I ordered at 12pm, my food arrived at half past 1. It was supposed to be a toasted 6 inch sandwich, but when it arrived it was completely cold.

Terrible. The lad on shift today (2:30pm - 27/11/24) cut his hand whilst slicing my friends sub and then carried on slicing the bread with the knife even tho there was blood on his glove. My friend then asked him to start again and change the knife and gloves (you can catch all sorts through blood) - he was so rude about this so the girl took over and she was so rude too! Hygiene standard and people skills are non existent with these 2 members of staff. Appalling!!!

The da switch I ordered wasn’t what I ask for just full of tomatoes, I didn’t know how to return or get in touch, I’ve just come home now and my son shown me, so I want full explanation for why I didn’t get the right order so I put it in the bin

I had a fantastic experience at Subway Batley! The staff here, especially Ben, Lesley, and Stacy, were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making sure everything was just right. The service was quick without ever feeling rushed, and each of them take their time to ensure my order is exactly as I wanted. It’s clear they all take pride in what they do, and it creates such a positive atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back – thank you!

excellent, warm food delivered quickly with drivers able to follow delivery instructions

Food was really nice however, it makes no sense to me that I'm able to create my own sub to order, but the create you own footlong meal deal is never available. Its been weeks now that athe option is unavailable

Unfortunately by the time all the food got to me it was cold. I had to warm everything back up before eating.

The staff was so horrible and rude. She speaks to you like you are hard of understanding. What I find disgusting was that she wore 1 pair gloves to prepare the bread, add the cooked meat, cheese, used the same gloves to put in the oven, add the salad, go to the counter, pick up of cartons in the kitchen. She used the same gloves to serve the customers before and after me and to run other errands. She never changed the gloves which made it very disgusting and unprofessional. Let's just say Subway has just lost a frequent customer.

The staff here are absolutely lovely! I've had some bad experiences at other shops but at this one the man who served me was so kind and helpful I had to leave a review. The other member of staff was nice too. Made our day!

They forgot to put the sauce on the salad... and they just put slabs of cheese in there without cutting them up... meatballs were also nearly cold. Eating salad without sauce is like eating cardboard!!!

There was no seasoning on the wedges at all so they were bland and the geniuses at the shop put a cold drink in with hot food so the condensation on the bottle soaked the food. The delivery driver was prompt and polite though so thank you to him.

Forgot half my order, my nachos and one of my 6 inch subs, then the half that did come was half spilt in the bag, a margarita garlic bread upside down stuck to the bag and my drink was fizzed up and spilt everywhere. Hopefully I’ll get a refund because this is a joke

1st of all I got someone else's order, then when the driver came back and actually delivered mine it was missing not only my drink, but also crisps and cookie that are supposed to be part of the meal deal I ordered. I've tried ringing directly and no answer from Sunway so I guess I'm left being over charged and not given what I've paid for.

Ordered 2 footlongs to be toasted, not toast. Stone cold on arrival. Also no cheese in our subs, both meant to have American cheese. Ordered hash browns in one sub they were also stone cold. Appauling as I’ve spent £31 on this for it to be stone cold. Do not order from this store!!!

Food delivery was quick but we only received half our order, so thats what happens when you cut corners. Then we were told we had to sort it out ourselves. We rang the restaurant with no answer. Completely unacceptable.

The sauce wasn't included with the hash browns so they were dry.

The guy that served me was brilliant couldn't have been more polite and helpful in the face of my frustration at not being to able order a single sandwich I actually wanted because of the franchisee making stupid decisions about what is available and isn't. Luckily I have another that I can go to with a different owner.

Driver needs sat nav updating, food then came cold. Restaurant said it would be toasted, they must have toasted it for all of 2 seconds. Won’t be ordering from here again I want my money back. Complete waste of time and money

How this shop got through planning i do not know. No disabled parking and no access to the restaurant for a wheelchair user Not good enough

The thing about this branch of subway is the staff are awful, bad customer service usually comes from 1 maybe 2 employees but everyone I’ve delt with in this store gives you the bare minimum, they don’t even look at you. When you walk in they look like you’ve just disturbed them. All I can think is it must be terrible place to work which reflects on the service. They can’t all just be rude for no reason.

It Showed as Delivered and Did Not Turn Up.

Bread was hard. More salad than filling. Driver must of had more deliveries as it went total opposite direction.
