Get rid of the screens. Stupid gimmick that makes waiting times x20 longer, and you can no longer customise your sandwich - the screens are blocking the counter so you can’t even see/talk to the employees making your sandwich. Utter woke nonsense. All of the people in the photo are waiting for their sandwich for 30+ mins.

Made the mistake of waiting in the shop for our food to be prepared. They’re more fussed about the delivery drivers than those people actually walking in. It’s not the worth the wait. If you value your time I wouldn’t bother. Life is too short and the subway isn’t worth it.

The whole point of subway was so that you can choose your food visually now they got computers to choose your food that are so painfull and time consuming not to mention the 20 min wait to get your food......then they have to pay to have a security guard protecting the place.what a horrible world we leave in

By far the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. 20 minutes wait after ordering 2 salads and a 6"sub.paid extra for cheese on both salads that I didn't receive. Automated service just doesn't work and I don't appreciate having to wait while the staff behind the counter are having a laugh and joke and taking pictures of subs they have just made. Highly unprofessional.

This used to be a great place to eat, they have put in these new automated machines which are slower than giving your order manually and they give less choice which makes things confusing. The older system worked really well for the customer, the old saying is true.. don't try and fix what isn't broken... or you'll screw it up like you just have.

Ordered on the app, Minute wait time quoted, the order was the only one on the screens, but several orders that were placed after mine were made before mine. 25minutes later, with no sign of my order I asked when it would be ready and was told it hadn't even been started yet. Another 5minutes later, so 30 minutes after I ordered, I was told some of the food was sold out so I had to choose something else. I asked for a full refund and left with a very hungry and very disappointed young family.

Visited Subway Mereway a couple of days ago and ordered myself a 6inch turkey ham sub. I’d had a long day at work and wound up waiting around 25 minutes for my order. I did not order anything additional to the 6 inch sub - just this. There were several orders in front of mine so I would’ve understood a 10 min wait or so, but 25 minutes seemed excessive, especially for a fast food place with kiosks that are supposed to quicken the process. A few people around me were also complaining about the wait times and staff didn’t seem to have much urgency regarding the amount of people waiting for their orders. I ordered at 14:27 and received my order around 14:55. Has really put me off from visiting again, which is a shame as I enjoy subway and this store is close to home!

Switching to touch screen ordering is so crap, can't edit any of the favourites and you don't even get your order any quicker, nothing much has changed about the food itself, just added another annoyance for no reason - I hope they don't add this everywhere else. Guys - just be honest. The kiosks haven’t worked. It’s taken nearly half an hour to get a sandwich that would otherwise be ready in minutes the old way. I’ve seen three people refund & cancel their order due to the time it’s taking to make each sandwich in the period it’s taken for me to get my food. Just walk it back. Very unlikely to come back under current circumstances - Subway simply isn’t worth waiting the best part of an hour for.

I've been to this Subway twice now with my partner to give it another go. The place was messy with crubs and bits of food all over the floor. And the new machines for order are horrible. They aren't particularly hard to use but they are ruining the experience. Without the human interaction it feels soulless and I cant ask for more sauce or less lettuce in my subs. I won't be coming back to this store until the machines are either gone or you have an option to interact witht the people making my food. That's what I liked most about Subway.

Terrible service. Waited 25 minutes for a kids meal and it was cold, the roll was burnt. Other customers warned us they had waited over 40 minutes but staff were really unproductive and chatting rather than cracking on. Self service acts as a wall for them to hide behind and service has plummeted since it's been installed.

The new order machines are awful. It took ages compared to the quicker service we used to have when you spoke to a person to order your food. You can't see your sandwich being made anymore or have any input into the quantities of salad items you might want. You just have to hope they got it right. Hated this.

New brie V.I submelt was DISGUSTING, soaking wet in that dip/sos. I look for the brie in all that sandwich and yes, two shadow slices where there drowning screaming for HELP!!! I also got those hasbrowns with sweet onion dip that by the time I open the bag (3 min after)all the dip was in the paper towels. To late to go back from the road and experience 😕 SHAME, not touching SUBWAY AGAIN !!!

Probably slowest Subway i’ve ever been , have wait in the que 20 or over, there was like 5-6 staff member including managers , only 2 of them was serving , they was running around like headless chicken, que build up so fast , at least 20 people, half way trough felt to walk away, but i go ahead and order and they made my order wrong , instead of remaking my sandwitxh they add extra topping on a paper and put it in my sandwitxh , had to eat cold food .

Rang the shop multiple times, no answer! Contacted Deliveroo, couldn’t offer me a refund and refused to send out the missing item. Disgusting!

Most painful experience ever. I don’t think they could have been any slower if they tried! Took 30 mins to be served and there were only 3 people ahead of us in the queue then I had to repeat myself 50 times as they couldn’t seem to understand what I wanted. I swear the guy doing the salad put the olive in one ant a time! I wanted to scream it was so frustrating! I think I could have baked the bread myself in the time it took. Also when did the menu change?! It’s rubbish now.

Ordered a few times before on deliveroo and have had problems with not receiving the drinks I ordered and crisps , yet again I received the wrong drink and no cheese in my sandwich but they managed to remember to toast it when the whole point of toasting the sandwich is to melt the cheese, I’m not sure why it’s so hard to make a basic sandwich but obviously for this subway it is, will not be ordering again

My opinion I think this is over price for what you get. I pay £8 for a foot long with packet of crisps and a fizzy pop. I think that a bit expensive for lunch for a sandwich & packet & fizzy pop. There was nothing special about it. I felt ripped off. It first time in long time I be to a subway. Also member of staff doesn’t change the gloves when serving different customers and there keep the gloves when touch the equipment which is not safe. Also didn’t ask me if had any food allergies.

Horrible service on till, left waiting for 5 minutes with food ready to pay, as the girl was need chatting with colleague about lunch. Then I ask to pay separate for meals I order, to be ask rudely what I want, was need to repeat few times. Then when I was going to sat down she was shouting loudly that I need to do track and trace. Well if she would pay attention to the job she would knew that I all ready done it. Been regular customer never had problems like this don't be back here soon

I had a really disappointing experience with Nando’s delivery. I ordered a Halloumi wrap that was supposed to include chicken, but it arrived with only Halloumi inside—no chicken at all. When I called customer service, they told me they couldn’t help over the phone and that I had to send an email for them to even consider resolving the issue. By the time I realized the mistake, I had already eaten the wrap, so I couldn’t provide a photo of the food itself. However, I offered pictures of my receipt and the delivery packaging, but the whole process felt unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I expected better service from a brand like Nando’s, but instead, I was left feeling like my issue wasn’t taken seriously. Definitely not ordering from them again any time soon.
