Waited 25 mins got the wrong order didnt want to wait another 25 mins so just left

Staff dont really care and to be honest food is good but never right I now refuse to leave the line until I have checked my order and the last 5 times its been wrong even 1 order that was just a drink they gave me a milkshake when I ordered a hot chocolate and when I told her at the window she simply huffed took my drink and walked off there was no "oo sorry about that ill change that for you" she literally walked back handed me a hot chocolate and said have a nice day and shut the window it was so bizarre......

Ordered 2 plain cheeseburgers today and git 2 plain hamburgers instead. I checked them when I arrived home and was very disappointed

Good clean tidy friendly staff. Cash and card accepted food hygiene certificate in window. Disabled persons friendly with step free access.

This is by far worst McDonalds. Waiting time for everything is massive. Looking on that staff they are all nice to you but their movement at work is worse than snail. Threat this place as your last option.

Went to get some napkins for my food left my drink and some other stuff but when I came back my drink wasn’t there. I approached one of the staff members to ask if they took it and they replied with ‘ you should have asked straight away’

My recent visit to McDonald's surprised me with the reduction in the size of the popular McCrispy. Unfortunately, this was not a step towards improving quality but rather a reduction in the value of a meal that was previously one of my favorites. Although the price remained at the same level we’re used to, the smaller portion size makes the value-for-money ratio much less favorable. Instead of raising prices, the company chose to decrease the product size, which disappointed me. It would be great if McDonald's returned to a bit bigger portions or re-evaluated the price because the current situation unfortunately gives the impression that we’re getting less for more.

Wheeler, the guy taking our order and the cash machine made my and my friends evening. He deserves a raise. He had an enlightening smile and an amazing energy. Give him more money and employee of the month. Anyone reading this - recommend Wheeler.

Terrible customer service:- 1) Mcflurry served that was completely runny on one occasion and is often half empty 2) Coffee is only correct about 80% of the time. Often give the wrong drink all together (good job l'm not lactose intolerant) or the coffee is Luke warm. 3) Today I ordered a McFlurry and was then told it wasn't available and should have been removed from the menu. The manager said she couldn't refund back to my debit card and would have to give me cash. I said this wasn't acceptable. She couldn't care less. These have been reported online, but nothing ever changes.

Came in for a quick coffee on a Sunday afternoon, there was a delay as it was quite busy at the time, but all was good. I enjoyed a nice sit down and great coffee

Absolutely disgusting service!!!!!! Drove In drive thru and order 2 hash browns to which I was told to go straight to the next window without even getting the rest of my order in! The girl who was serving had already left before I could order more... to which my daughter said excuse me... then girl came back on and said she was not serving us because we was rude and was told the manager had taken our order off! We was not rude at all she had already left and told us to move on before we could even order anything else. To which I then entered the restaurant and was confronted by this young girl and I asked to speak with the manager to which I could already hear the young girl say to everyone in the back telling them to not serve us. A manager then appeared with the girl and the girl denied telling me to move on, I then asked if the headphones were recorded to which the manager replied yes they are, I asked them to go and check this as me and my daughter had actually done nothing wrong and the girl serving us was the one who was infact being rude to us! The girl was still denying this and just kept getting rude. Another manager then came along and told the girl to leave and asked the issue so then I explained again but then was told the headphones are not recored? So either they are or they aren't? I'm not happy at all about the service I got! And the fact this girl spoke to my daughter in this manner was absolutely disgusting! They refused to give me her name but it was at the st james retail park in Northampton at about 8.15 am!

For McDonald's it's alright but I'm not a fan of them anyway really it's just something familiar when your not sure what to get locally.

Wow amazing price...£5.50 for a coffee, small cheese burger, fries and 4x chicken nuggets. Pretty good lunch deal for this day and age.

Absolutely rubbish, was in the drive thru waiting nearly 20 minutes, food was stone cold and dry. Service is too slow for a fast food chain, would literally have got seeved quicker going to Tesco. Absolutely shite

Worst maccies ever. Went through drive thru forgot several things which is a reoccurring issue. Sent my partner in with a receipt. They made us come in with every item to show what was missing. Argued about one of them being put in cuz she knew she forgot one of the items so not sure why we were made to come in with it all. Manager was rude and walked away when I was speaking to her. How many idiots does it take to get an order right? It’s embarrassing

Why must they play excessively loud music totally not aimed at the demographics of the establishment? I was going to have another coffee but got to the point where I was sick of listening to the 'music' whilst at the same time, hearing customers having to shout over it on their phones. I instead went to Costa where I paid much more to drink my drink in peace. Look, if I want to go to a disco, I know where they are and I can't recall ever being in one at 8am!

Nice and quite, very spacious with seating outside too. There are a few 3 pin sockets for laptop / phone charging too. Nice restaurant.

McDonald's is what it is. Quite bland food . I had fillet o fish and was really disappointed with a lack of flavour. I remember them years ago tasting much better.

Long waiting time. Rude employees

Everytime I've either picked up food from inside or had takeaway from the dive thru there has been items missing from the order. Wouldn't be so bad but the food has taken ages (up to 30 minutes on one occasion) to arrive. If you have to eat here, expect a wait and double check the bag has all your items before leaving, otherwise, go to six fields or riverside Macdonald's, they are much better.

Poor attitude of staff food ok but cold

First time I’ve had McDonald’s in years and it was really disappointing. The burger tasted like the bacon and cheeses were made of plastic and there was way too much sauce. Dry salad and the lettuce was brown. Never returning here again

Probably the dirtiest Mc Donald's I have eaten in. Tables covered in dry, congealed sauce. Toilets & sinks dirty. It wasn't busy & there were plenty of staff. Needs addressing

They’re supposed to be open till midnight and they were shut at 23:50.

The lady taking orders at the drive through was so bored and not in the mood . They are usually so nice and smiling, apologetic about the wait..well not her. Her screen was not on so I couldn’t see if the order was correct, didn’t bother asking as I never had issues but after getting home I realised I had one product missing, not a big deal but wasn’t the usual experience I get 😂

It's becoming a different experience. Some good polite staff yet many, no smiles, shout your number and plonk the bag down without eye contact and walk away. Far from showing a customer that they are valued. Once again there are some that work very efficiently and polite. Waiting times are longer than used to be, all forgiven when service is pleasant. Food is good for fast food. Offers are brilliant. 1/11/24 Okay, crowded as half term. Food was cold. Not worth complaining as staff were busy and a longer wait to amend was not an option for us.

Click and serve order placed 12.20, was marked as collected but did not arrive. Then mysteriously a young staff member seen taking the exact same order to his own car.. mmmmmm

It's quicker to use a human to order food because you can get your order number and a receipt.

Nice and helpful staff. Food is just as good as any other McDonald's. Unfortunately I couldn't order via the app on Monday morning as it was under maintenance, and although online it said it was closed, it was definitely open.

It's An Ok McDonald's But The Service Is Slow At Times

Back again in the same place...nothing changed, slow and very slow everyone waiting for orders but the speed of delivery makes everything worst slow on take away order.....more than 15 minutes of waiting with only 3 orders on the screen almost every time without recipe on order machines.

Fantastic service and great food. Last night, the 6th of September we visited this McDonalds for a meal, and the experience has been extraordinary. The food we received was of the highest standards, i might say that was the best burger and fries i’ve eaten in a McDonalds in the past 10 years. Had some issues with using the app which got sorted straight away, and the staff was focused on trying to help. I am aware that there is a bit of waiting time in getting the order, which is totally understandable. Thank you, and keep up delivering the same great service guys, we appreciate it 😁. I’d give 6 stars if possible.

Had the breakfast saver meal, mcmuffin and coffee for £1.99. Everywhere was clean, staff were nice and helpful.

Food cold, food looked like it was thrown together

1 star is all you deserve!!! After 30 minutes of waiting had to ask for refund because we had enough. Then another 5 minutes took to shift manager to process the refund! He didn't even asked why we wanted money back. I quess he doesn't give a s..... Well done McDonald!!!

Food and drink smelt and tasted like chemicals it tasted horrible evry thing was way to over cooked

Nothing special, but convenient as you'd expect. As always the staff are working so hard but the food remains quite average, and as always the milkshakes aren't available or are half frozen.

Good quality well cooked food. Clean and tidy a Nd friendly restaurant. Only poor point was that many of the children's tablets were not working or stuck at funny angles so couldnt be played with.

Im sorry who ever made my burger today needs a pay rise, 11.30am 22/7 it was 10/10 perfection this is by far the best mcdonalds I have ever been to in my 22 long years of life. This burger unlocked a level of satisfaction i didnt know was possible, my eyes have been opened to the true master class of a burger.

Lazy stuff took them more than 15 minutes to prepare order just fries and chicken mayo burger, restaurant was almost empty only one more customer but instead of working they preferred dancing on back plus they load fries with bare hands no hygiene

Unfortunately we were scammed during a large order. 4 cheeseburgers were missing. No one checked the bags, and at home it turned out that they were missing🤷

Ordered over the app. Somehow lost our order, which is fine. Accidents happen. However, when served by Malachi rolled his eyes at us constantly, handed wrong order multiple times. Rolled his eyes at us and got arsey when handed it back kindly suggesting it is wrong. Told him 5 times our order and still gave us the wrong drink in the end. Wrong order being three items: two drinks and a burger (nothing special). How Malachi dealt with that situation was terrible, and his customer service was extremely awful. Acted like I was the problem, considering you lost the order? Kindly suggest, malachi re-trains on how to deal with members of the public.

Oh dear!! When your one job is to put a burger patty in a bun and they can't get that right. I had to check I'd ordered some sort of veggie burger. Nope. Just missing ingredients. Staff didn't care and management were even less bothered. Word of warning. Check everything if going through the drive through. 1 hour wasted returning for my correct order without as much as an apology.

Star rating is for fast food restaurant. We didn't eat here, just popped in for a coffee. I was amazed. Lovely coffee. Great service. Clean tables and seating - and floor! Clean, well stocked toilets.

Food was actually hot. My children enjoyed playing on the kids tablets at the table and the slide area outside was actually open, unlike alot of other mcds restaurants.

Sat in drive through after ordering our meals for 25 mins to be told the till they take money on was down ! So we ha to leave with no food. Upset our children

Foods always looks rough as well as the staff. Never very helpful with dips. All in all just the typical low standard for mcdonalds.

Don't think the kids that work at McDonald's have ever learned to count as high as 20 😡never got the full 20 nuggets that I pay for. Place gets worse , today once again less nuggets than I paid for and a lovely long hair in my granddaughter's quarter pounder . Won't be coming here again 🤬🤬

I've been here a few times now to use the drive through at various times (morning, lunch, evening & late), every time has been very slow serving, considering they are 'fast food' it's not fast at all - a few times I've placed an order and have waited in the queue for a good 10-15 minutes with no movement whatsoever, by the time I've actually got to the window it has been a good 15-20 minutes after placing the order.. i'd understand if it's in peak time of the day but I went the other day at around 9pm and still extremely slow!

This has to be the worst McDonald's in Northampton! There is no urgency from staff in getting orders out quick. Everyone looks half asleep! The Drive-Thru is more like a Drive-In Cinema because I sat there for 10 minutes enjoying the scenery as nothing was happening at the ordering station or at the windows where you collect food!? This is not fast food! McDonald's WAS a fast food restaurant chain many many years ago! Not anymore!

Absolutely disgraceful. Waited half an hour through drive through whilst staff in the restaurant hardly done anything, just to receive all my food in the bag in a big mess. Burger isn’t wrapped or in a box properly. My fries were thrown into the bag with no care. Nobody in there seems to know what they are doing and seem to prefer twiddling their thumbs and not caring an ounce about customer service instead of doing their job. Whole place needs fixing and an area manager needs to also be doing their job !

Worst customer service I have ever received from a McDonalds. Went to the drive through. Didn’t receive any sauce. Asked for some and was told I couldn’t pay on my card and would need to go to the back of a long queue to order a sachet by which time my food would have been cold and I would have added an extra 20 minutes to my day. Ended up having to go into the restaurant and by time I got back to the car and my food, the food was cold and McFlurry had melted. Incredibly rude staff. Deeply disappointed.

So, no number or receipt provided for the order..fine. ordered a chocolate milkshake which I thought would be CHOCOLATE not flavoured ..I mean, what happened to it? It used to be chocolaty not this..white stuff. That's not..no!!!
