Subway in Peterborough

Went there at the weekend, there was a lady with ginger hair and glasses clearly training a young lady and I was absolutely appalled by the way she was speaking to her. There was no teaching, just extremely rude attitude and shouting. The poor girl looked terrified and you could tell that it was throwing her off. I bought two meals and got overcharged but I was too afraid for the girl so I never said anything as I didn’t want to cause the horrible woman to shout at her again. I also witnessed other workers grabbing meat and then cheese with the same gloves, as a vegetarian this was very off putting. I won’t be going back to this subway again.

This place has a serious problem with staff training and hygiene. The man serving us put on gloves, placed a roll in the oven, and then, with the same gloves, started mopping the floor. After that, he attempted to use those same gloves to add toppings to our sandwich. When we pointed this out to him, he lied, claiming he had just changed his gloves (we had been watching him the whole time and there was no glove change). Only after another request from us he change his gloves for new ones. This is unacceptable when working with food.

Shocking service turned up at 5.36pm to say they are not taking cash. What is this world coming too. Never coming back.

Horrible customer service from diana, she was very rude and deliberately over charged me. I wont ever be coming back here, to be honest I am utterly disappointed with this from an employee. You should really review her position because this is unnecessary and disrespectful. she also didn't smell too good, didn't use gloves either. Needs to review her hygiene.

Quiet time with lovely staff around 9.30-9.45. Clean & pleasant. 12-1pm. Quite busy, But hard working polite staff work well together and get the queues down. Shop always clean & tidy.

Food bang on, atmosphere rather take out! Could be so much more appealing

First time visit whilst waiting for my car to be done at Halfords. Pleasant, clean, fresh and warmed to perfection. Girls were friendly and helpful and the best bit.... The Sub was lovely.

Not as fresh as some locations but the food still tasted great and good customer service.

Only small but lovely staff busy shop and great sandwiches. They have a few tables to sit at too.

The service was super friendly, thank you for a warm welcome.. But we found that the food was not as tasty as it use to be sadly.. We also each had a 6inch meal deal but was charged more than the advertised price of £5.49..

Particularly want to commend Tyler at the Padiholme Subway. He was pleasant, courteous and professional to an exemplary standard. I also enjoyed the nachos and coffee I had. Thank you Tyler.

You can't beat a Subway, especially one that's hygienic and well presented...

Fin made the whole difference. Very efficient although he was alone and had a large order to fulfil before us.

We love Subway. We go to the same one each time and they remember what we order which may show we go too often. 🤔 Food is always fab. Our only complaint is they some times run out of sweetcorn but we know this happens. Staff are great and really friendly even though they are working really hard they still make sure everyone has a positive experience.

Quality has dropped, but prices haven't.

One of the better subways in the area. Usually friendly staff and usually have full supply of ingredients. Problem with subway I think is lack of training for staff in some locations.

Subways is a good choice for lunch or for when you just feel like it

The sandwich was good,the staff were decent considering the usual standard. The tables were also clear. What keeps this a 3 star for me is a mix between poor franchise management and pricing. Vouchers through my door were not accepted here. I don't go to Subway much as it is. I'm unlikely to come again at this rate.

I think they are getting very expensive now...£8.59 for a meal...but still tasty!

Lack of choice on salads, cold drink refill machine had no selected drink- was refused by staff to chose desired drink from a fridge...

Absolutely shocking. Dirty tables. Orders messed up twice. Told couldn't have my cheese melted 😂 incompetent staff. Halfbthe food choices missing. Shambles. Go elsewhere.

Decent food, person behind the counter today wasn’t interested, wanted us in and out, felt like it was an inconvenience me being there..

Lovely subway. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Food was fresh and nicely made. I had been driving around to a few subways before this looking for gluten free bread so it made my day that I finally got one and with good service!! Thank you 🙂🙂🙂🙂

The food is if the most high quality scrumptious-ness. I highly recommend buying food from there as it's very cheap for a lot of food . Although they could do with a larger supply of the hearty Italian bread because I went yesterday afternoon and they only had one left thankfully but they're running out way too quickly, I would also love to see more of the meatball marinara cause that also seems to run out pretty quickly aswell. Aaaaaand one thing if the cookies could be slightly bigger and more evenly sized and distributed with the extra ingredients (e.g. raisins for the oatmeal raisin. Although, this and all other subway restaurants never have enough meatball marinara, they need a lot more in storage as they almost never have it, it pisses me off!!, Apart from that...I highly recommend it

Whilst the sandwiches here are really good and the choice of fillings excellent I was somewhat shocked when my 6" Sub with drink/crisps was around £6.50 ! Whilst this doesn't break the bank for some, I seem to remember not so long ago this meal would have been less than a fiver? Wouldn't mind my wages exponentially rising at the same rate as Subway prices !

Quick efficient service, clear communication. There is enough parking and some inside seating is available.

At this time of the year when we have covid-19 tables should be cleaned after every visitor who ate in. And cleaning station should be provided. The gyms maintain this better...

It's a Subway. What are you expecting? Well that's the thing...you get exactly what you want.

Just ordered from this Subway on UberEats. My order was Italian bread, I received the Italian Herb bread, also the cheese was missing so overall massively dissatisfied with it as the only thing I could actually eat was the cookies I ordered. First and last time I order from this Subway.

Staff are friendly, I go there once a week at least so they generally recognise me & are always happy to help, even when they've got a big rush on & it becomes stressful.

Wouldn’t bother going here, when I want a sandwich, I want one made with a smile. Miserable employees who clearly don’t want to be there, sack them, it made me want to commit with the negative vibes there. Ordered the usual subway but they added an extra for me, a nice long wait to go with it and a big slice of attitude for a side. You’d have to force me to go back here, I know the best subway in town, it’s the one on the A1, ran by a great manager and team. Learn from them ...

I went to the subway tonight and I ordered the same sandwich each time I have visited the subway stores as I like my meat at the bottom of the bread then the triangle cheese on top of the meat then I like the grated cheese in the bread and toasted no one has ever questioned me as I have autism until tonight as she wasn’t doing as I asked trying not to do it then said to me that’s the way she was trained to do it so I said well it’s my sandwich and that I have Austim she didn’t care on what I was saying I’ve been here before and didn’t think much of the place before tonight but I thought of giving the place another try but I won’t be back here again

Disappointing today as was half a bowl of salad only and stopped doing sweet onion dressing. Normally a good sized lunch with lots of variety which been really impressed with lately as added more things but expensive today for what was served!

Even though they had ran out of certain things, the customer service was fantastic! Myself and husband are away for a few nights visiting Peterborough and the guy serving us was welcoming, helpful and very funny! He had us in stitches as soon as we arrived until we left! i do hope he sees this or his management shows him this as he deserves to know how great his customer service is

Customer service is appalling ... was served by liliana today but there is never a friendly face whenever I go in here. Shame really... as I do enjoy the food.

It's a little bit hidden place but it's worth to pop in there. Unlike other Subways this one has comfortable sofas to seat instead of chairs.

Great coffee, good prices, superb loyalty scheme.

You can create your own dinner.

Healthy options, friendly staff

Asked for a salad, got a soup because of the amount of dressing they covered it in, seems to be standard in their sandwiches as well across the board for subways everywhere. Have it your way, except we'll drown it in sauce so you can't taste anything. 👍

Ask for a Meatball marinara footlong, double meat, double cheese. Complete this and you will earn my respect. Napkins are essential.

My grandchildren loved it but whoever I took a bite of my granddaughters and it was covered in brown and black bits. Overall it was OK but my granddaughter and grandson gave the rating 😶😵 Still very nice very good food and nice.

I always go to this subway as I work across the road and come in with my family as well and this time I came here. The male that was on didn't listen to my order properly. When I go in I always state the size then bread then what goes in and I had to tell him my bread twice and then asked for the sub of the day and did a completely different sub. Won't be getting food from here again while he's on

Subway is Subway all the same more or less. Except this is extremely busy around 1pm
