Service was shocking. Servers rude, and half assed whilst making the subs. When my partner and I sat down to eat, on the rubbish, and half eaten food covered tables, the subs were both falling apart at the seams and all over the wrapping. Not only this, when I ordered the "Limited Edition Hot Cross Bun Footlong", I received a stale lump of bread filled with sultans, and two melted packs of butter lying on top which had mostly evaporated. Utterly disgusting.

I’ve never been to this particular subway before, but experienced the worse service on 28/11/24. I arrived around an hour and 20mins before closing, the ‘Sandwich artist’ by the name of ‘Tuesday’ was turning customers away, saying that they cannot eat in and that its take away only. Customers who requested onions on their sandwich she would say, “there’s none left”. This should have alerted me of the poor service, but as I didn’t want to eat in anyway, I thought nothing of it. I had previously ordered 2x Tuna subs from the app. The server had accepted my order as it stated it was ready to collect. I waited in the queue and when it was my turn to be served, she proceeded to tell me that there was not enough Tuna to make my order and that I would need to choose something else. I told her there was nothing else we wanted and asked her to cancel the order. She said I would need to cancel on the app. I checked the app with her and there was nowhere to cancel, as the order had already been accepted. She said there's nothing she could do. I said there must be something you can do, as I’ve placed the order and paid and you can’t fulfill it. She said that, I’d need to contact Subway customer service - I couldn’t find a number for this. I asked for a refund, she said she couldn’t do it as her manager isn’t there. She persisted to tell me that I needed to order something else. I told her there was nothing else I wanted. She started serving other customers. In the end, I told her she needed to contact a manager as I needed a refund. She went in the back and I assumed she called her manager, as she came back out saying that she could make more Tuna, but it would take 5mins. I said that would be fine, and asked if she could also cut more onions. Her response was, “No, as onions will take longer than 5 minutes”. It occurred to me that she was just lazy and could have made more tuna before but chose not to, she also wouldn't restock the onions and turned customers away from eating in - I feel this was to avoid cleaning up. Terrible service, I was in there for 40mins.

Don't appreciate being lied to. For some reason, I was told that the apps QR code was "just a picture" and therefore can't be used, and I had to go use my Google wallet. This is not true, and I don't use Google Wallet. However, he then tried to prove to me it won't scan and pretended to use the scan gun, which didn't even light up. So either he is unaware it is broken or he is faking it (more likely given context). I used the exact same app in the Subway upstairs with no issues, so I don't know what game they are trying to play, but I won't be going back there again.

Today I went subway with my family. 3.11.24. I was very happy with the service. It was very pleasant. The 3 workers were very kind and helpful. A young girl was particularly helpful in helping me speak urdu and placing my order. Excellent.

Was served today by Sunaina, who was very helpful, kind and very fast. I was new to subways and didn’t know what to eat or how to choose what’s on the menu, so she helped me out by ordering in a orderly way from choosing my bread up until adding my sauces. Excellent service from her.

I never leave reviews but tonight I will make an exception… ordered a salad however everything I wanted was just chucked in with no care or presentation, you’d think the woman was trying to be speedy Gonzalez or something, and always dismissed me and seemed angry when asking me what I wanted, very rude… went here before and was served by a lovely young man, was only a trainee but could have done a better job than the manager, you need more like him!

Very bad service tells people they have the job to then don't get in contact and when u finally get through to them for them to say oh u haven't got the job well why tell people they have to not go ahead with it plus there service is rubbish and the way they do your orders food never looks good one of the worst subways I've ever been to would never go to that one again

Bought three subs for lunch and one was considerably shorter than the other two. When I enquired about it, the lady serving called the manager over who stated that it was just how they were wrapped. I questioned this so she proceeded to unwrap all the subs to compare the size. It was only at this point that she begrudgingly agreed to make a replacement sub. The manager was rude in the way she spoke to me and at no point did anyone own up to any mistakes having been made. It made for a very poor overall experience and I won't be returning to this store.

Went there at 8:40pm today and it said online it closed at 9pm, no sign at the front or till to say they’re closed. Waited 6 minutes before worker came out the back. Just for her to finally come out and say we’re closed, I did ask how come it says 9pm and she replied we’re closing early today so I just left. I can understand stop serving 10 minutes before but 20 minutes before is outrageous and leaving the shop unattended for longer than 5 minutes is also crazy. You guys need better workers and customer service as it’s very off putting.

Service is awful. They man-handled the bread, so it's smooshed when they make your sandwich. Got the salad wrong (it was 4 items) and then got charged for something I didn't even order. Didn't get a box with one kids meal but did with the other so one of the kids got free pepper seeds, but one kid didn't. Took that long there was no point toasting because everything was cold by the time we ate

i am an avid lover of subway, always went there but as i went to order my normal sub, they had stopped doing bbq sauce which is the stupidest thing they could ever do, also had only two types of bread and barely any "toppings if u will" unless bbq comes back i wont return.

Had a toasted wrap that the put in the oven for 45 seconds, the salad was too hot to eat. Who heats up salad? Told the lady, didn’t ask for a refund or replacement, just wanted to let them know. Staff couldn’t speak good English and thought I wanted the table Wiped. Staff training isn’t right as there is no way they are told to cook salad do 45 seconds in a high powered merry chef oven

It's been a few months since I had a subway and was looking forward to it, and then we had one at merry hill shopping centre. To sum up... The bread choices weren't available no brown or Italian. What was on the menu not available. Sandwiches were small with small amount of ingredients. No brown sauce. Lid not put on my friends hot chocolate, when he picked it up had hot drink (water) spilled on his hand. I used to love a Subway after this experience I'll try another place for food, even McDonald's. The prices aren't cheap and the food prices and and customer service is not good. Greg's next door did the same deal for £2 less.

Customer service is non existent. The staff look underpaid and over worked. They are never happy it's like they have been forced to be there. I think the times I have been there has been one gentlemen who has consistantly been miserable and rude, tall Asian man, moustache never happy. Food was mediocre. If anyone would like a subway please go to the food court in Merry hill, food is better and staff is much more friendly.

Restaurant was very dirty, none of the tables had been wiped down or the floor had been swept. Service was ok nothing special. Nachos were horrible, I asked for only cheese and got a pitiful amount on top. Overall, did not feel comfortable sitting in they need to improve their hygiene standards!

Wasn’t greeted at all , just got asked if I knew what I wanted by the one woman , she was short and rude to customers and the other staff member telling her to be quick , i asked for ketchup on my sub , she pretty much drowned my sub in it that was way too much! The bread was sticking to the paper and nearly broke my sub apart , not happy at all!

Another awful experience with Subway at merry hill. For the second time in the last 2 months my order has been wrong. Ordered a 12” sandwich and received only 6”. Just plain laziness now, the amount of complaints about incorrect/missing items on orders is ridiculous. You’d think it would give them a wake up call and do their job correctly.

I’m absolutely shocked at the way my order was delivered and packed. I had ordered 2 footlong sandwiches, nachos and a side of meatballs. The sandwiches hadn’t been properly packed which resulted in the sandwiches not even being in their packaging when arriving, they were just loose in the bag. Everything had been squashed by them putting 2 large bottles of Pepsi max on top of the food and my side of meatballs wasn’t even delivered. Awful service!

I ordered through Deliveroo. Salad boxes were half empty - each box had only 2 slices of tomatoes! I ordered and paid for extra sauce and they only filled the already-tiny containers by a third of the pot. Missed sauces and ingredients from the sub. Also ordered large wedges and got a small. And all the food was cold. Avoid if you can. They act as if the ingredients are coming out of their own wages. Stingy and expensive.

Ordered a delivery and once again it was incorrect. This time paid the extra for the Big Mac Minecraft meal for my son and just sent an ordinary one. Trying to get in touch is then impossible due to the app only having a virtual assistant which does nothing useful. Don’t order online from here. Regularly get it wrong.

The pizza base was mouldy. Cant even give it no stars as it was really bad. Stay away if you can.
