Subway in Mendip

After our last bad experience at another Subway we thought we would try again. So glad we did! Friendly helpful staff, lovely fresh food. We will definitely be back. This is without doubt the best subway we’ve been in.

Kyle was so helpful and friendly, even though it was busy we felt like he made a lot of effort to help us. We've actually never had better customer service from any Subway before.

Delivered incorrect meal. Second time that this has happened

Received a 6 inch sub rather than footlong sub

Late and delivered to wrong address.

I went there one week ago, me and my partner weren't happy. It was only one member of staff and very long queue. Does this big place run only one member of staff? We had ordered steak, bacon and cheese long subway sandwich and there was no any sauce, not much ingredients inside and not any vegetables like it was shown on the billboard. Member of staff had to be in a rush serving other people. It's very good access and very easy to park up, many tables where you can eat inside.

Missing items , cookies tasted like soap , hot food was cold when arrived

Not been in a subway in England before , we've experienced some in Florida whilst on holiday. We were very impressed with the staff a man was behind counter on our visit which was lunchtime on Tues 7/11 he was very knowledgeable and helped us decide what to have , he was really kind and helpful as my husband has lost his appetite and the suggestion the staff made was very encouraging for him to choose. He throughly enjoyed his lunch . So a big thankyou ! Well done to the staff !

Rick (tattoo on neck) what a guy! So friendly? Knowledgable on all food and excellent service! Deserved a gold medal for this and the way he prepped our food. Highly recommend this subway been here a few times now and staff are great! 👍

We waited an hour and 20 min for 2 subs

This particular Subway is always filthy, food all over the floor and tables, wrappers everywhere. The sandwich building station is never topped up and every time I’m willing to give this store a chance there’s a worker who is always chewing on his nails and then proceeds to put gloves on without washing his hands. I’ll be really surprised if they pass their next Environmental Health check!

Couldn’t fault this store or the staff in anyway. I come in on a regular basis for a latte and am always greeted with a friendly smile and always leave with one. Customer service at its finest!

Kyle today. Very kind and helpful to an older lady confused by the menu. Kind to a Mum who needed to work out how to buy ecomomically for young children. Helped 3 young lads develop their order so they kept within budget. He was kind and calm throughout my time in the queue and it was busy today. You are a credit to the store and those who raised you Kyle. Well done.

We were served today by the nicest member of staff who was so friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and its clear that there are regulars who come back for the atmosphere and warm welcome.

The place was pretty disgusting and dirty. The toilets even worse. Had the worst diarrhoea after eating here. The place needs a good wipe down with disinfectant

The food was quite reasonable but the portions were not very large. The staff were apparently a little new and a little nervous, but still very pleasant.

Sadly yesterday's experience was severely below standards! Dog's are not allowed inside the restaurant, however, that fact seemed to escape both the customer who brought his into Subway inside his coat and more importantly the female staff member who was perfectly happy with it and said nothing to the customer about it. When said customer then removed the dog from his coat, put it on top of the tables by the serving counter and proceeded to leave it on the table while he adjusted his coat, the member of staff serving should not only have said something but should also have immediately cleaned the table. Utterly appalling.

Drove to subway store where ordered from because the quality of the food was disgraceful messy and lazy preparation, other than that the driver was on time.

No Pepsi n subs looked rushed and thrown together not made. Partner didn't eat his as he said it tasted funny

Workers are slow. No hello, please, thank you or a smile. Only 1 customer in front of me who ordered 2 subs and I was waiting for 20 minutes. Awful service. And their card machine stopped working so had to get cash. No apology for this

Went into Subway with a few friends, the mam serving was rude. I simply told him my order and got some grumbled response back. The sheer lack of any sort of customer service was appalling. We were all grunted and huffed at whatever response we gave to do with our orders. I nearly didn’t order as I felt so unwelcome.

Good food but put a cold drink in the bag which contained the warm food. This made alot of condensation build up so everything ended up soggy and cold

The fact that the estimated preparation time is more than one hour is absolutely ridiculous for a sandwich fast food restaurant. The food was cold and soggy.

Always great food an friendly staff

When I placed this order I preferred it for 15:40 so my partner and I could have it for dinner. It arrived around 12:15 so I decided to ring the store in Shepton Mallet where I placed my order. I was told that delivery stops at 3 so I can either get a refund or keep my food. I ordered bacon on my sub and so did my partner. Instead I got double meat and he had no bacon… The food was okay but I’m just disappointed about the whole situation

Soooo slow. Eventually someone came out but without a mask so had to wait for them to go back and get one. Felt like there should’ve been bell we could of dinged. Bit stingy on the Mayo.

Easy parking and has seating inside and out. Service slow but food was ok, rolls well filled.

Was ahead of schedule and was fantastic as always.

We pre-ordered at 12 noon and it said deliveries start at 1pm and our delivery time was set for 1:20. We got our food at 1:40

First time ordering delivery from Subway and I was pleasantly surprised! Delivery driver was kind and polite. Sandwich came in a cute little box with some space for dips. Food was lovely! Especially the hash browns! Will order again for sure! So nice to finally have more takeaway delivery options in Shepton Mallet!

Food was amazing and nicely packaged

Really pleased with my food and the delivery was excellent. Only problem was I ordered a Gatorade and they didn’t have any left so when I answered the door the guy had a bag with different drinks so I had an option which was nice. Still deserves a 5 star!!

New Subway. They were a little slow but the food was good. All the staff working when we were there were friendly.
