Brilliant Indian. Lovely staff. Great set menu deal when we there on a Thursday...which let you choose virtually anything off the menu. And the sizes were really good even though it was an offer. They do charge a service charge...but we would have left a tip anyway drinks prices were reasonable as well. Food was really good.

Great time here. Fantastic food and great service. The manager was even apologetic for a number of new staff. We didn’t notice this at all. Really impressed, great night, superb service. Keep it up the great work.

Not a good dining experience at all. I ordered butter chicken that had cheese on top. Ask any Indian, butter chicken does not have cheese anywhere in India. The girl that was serving us seemed like she was new as she didn't know the menu which is fair enough but the guy that was with her left her to figure out everything by herself instead of helping her. Nevertheless, she had a bad attitude, throwing cutlery on the table and not removing dirty dishes when she could. The price of the food was not absurd, however, it did not reflect on the quality of the food. The restaurant was empty and the food still took ages to arrive. In the end we left without having dessert because it took them over 15 minutes to tell us what ice cream flavours they had. Never going there again, McDonald's is a better option no doubt.

Had our first take away from here tonight and we wasn’t disappointed, the meal was delicious, fresh , flavourful and a joy , loved everything about it was amazing 🤩 Can’t wait to order from here again 🙏

Ordered chicken tika and pasanda curry both had loads of flavour. Everything was good size portions however popadoms were £1 each. Also we picked up and received all the packaging very damaged and spilled. Food was great would recommend.

Probably the best Chicken Jhalfrezi I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of Jhalfrezi. Perfectly spiced 😅 and excellent service 👍

I’m sitting in the restaurant right now and my mind is so blown by the food, that I just had to reach for my phone to leave a review. My word this food is good. I’m from an Indian background and have eaten a lot of Indian food. This is by far one of the best I’ve eaten. You must come to this place. Highly recommended.

Ordered takeaway, it said 60 minutes on the email. Left it an hour and a half before ringing the restaurant to find out when it would be here to be told it was on its way. Another half an hour goes by and we ring again to be told its 4 minutes away. Another 10 minutes go by and we phone and ask for our money back. Hungry children!! We are 5 minutes drive from the restaurant so appalling service and will never order from here again!

On Mondays alot of restaurants are closed in Frome, so we thought we would try Namira's spice, and so glad we did. It was lovely food,atmosphere and good service.

Have consistently been really impressed by the standard of food here. We’ve had some beautifully presented dishes like the curry that comes in a pineapple and the beautiful aubergine and paneer number. There are a real range of dishes from the classic korma for the kids to our new favourite the chilli dry fried chicken which is sticky and mouthwatering. Staff are friendly, service is great. The food doesn’t come out straight away which just proves further to me that it is done properly.

Great food, with a hint of old India in the descriptions, nicely spiced, noodle dishes were a pleasant change. Service a little slow and no draft beer only bottled. Overall the experience was very good.

One of the best restaurant in the town. Had an amazing late dinner in this indian restaurant. We ate Biriyani, Fish and dal. Lastly scope of ice cream with chocolate syrup.... Such wonderful service, nice environment, delicious foods. Keep maintain vest quality always...

Just awful! Zero atmosphere dodgy bloke trying to be funny wearing greasy stained trousers another waiter with a rooks nest on his head just bazaar!! Disgusting sticky carpet and in dire need of a full refurb !! The food was at best Luke warm, the chicken was verging on raw. Unlike many other Indian restaurants naan bread was not included with a tandoori mixed grill but you can have one for another £4? The Curry sauce I ordered was just like a tin of cheap soup?? Just awful awful awful Never again!

Wow stumbled across this place today and the food was amazing the lamb shank is to die for!!! And the chana is bursting with garlic ! Wow!!! The dips are amazing and you get loads of different ones the green coconut is an old favourite!!! So glad I came here and will definitely be back

I was very disappointed with the place. We used to order takeaway and eat in when it was Jhalmuri but never as Namira. Ordered a takeaway for collection and had to wait for ages for the food, although I was offered a complementary drink. Got home to find a starter was missing. I was told that the driver knew where we were and they'd send it. It never arrived, so I felt fobbed off. The quality of the food was dead average, so we'll be going back to Warminster from now on.

This place was good before, but better now. When an utterly professional, committed waiter brings a trolley sizzling, full-flavoured chicken chat, chicken tikka and Aloo Sag, the evening simply leaps from "nice" to "Outstanding". Never long till we return...

We had a great meal here on Friday night before a gig in Frome. I had a ginger chicken dish after asking for a recommendation and it was utterly delicious. The manager/owner(?) was so friendly and attentive without hurrying us. We'll definitely be back. Thanks.

Great service here and the food is nicely made and tasty, but 3 of the 6 of us had 'hot' curries that were not even 'medium'.

Came again on 12th February 2023 as a table of 6. And I stand by my last review. This place is deserving of its 5 star review. Perfectly cooked food, perfectly flavoured. The dhansak was a bit thick tonight but the pathia was lovely. Namira's is back! Serving excellent food. They went off piste trying different and extravagant dishes. But, sometimes, all you want is a good curry. They've now gone back to cooking the traditional curries and we can highly recommend the chicken dhansak or the lamb pathia. We started off with the poppadoms and pickle tray. Loved the assortment of pickles. Mo is a great guy and we had great service. I'd recommend anybody giving it a try. 👍

Could do with a decerat as looks shabby toilets not clean . We were cold in the restaurant and service was poor. One plus point. The food was great and very tasty 😋

Visiting Frome for the night and popped in for food after a busy day. The food was amazing, service was great and were even lucky to go during their 50% of for January. Would go back again!

Terrible phone service, had to shout to be heard and they still got my order wrong after confirming with them multiple times. Took ages to arrive and wasn’t very warm when we got it. I shall not be dining from this establishment again.

Shocking service ordered at 8pm was told it would be delivered between 8.45-9.05 still hadn't arrived by 9.15, was told it would be delivered by 9.30 and didn't arrive AT ALL. Staff put phone down on us when we questioned when food would arrive. Shocking service.

The previous time we had a delivery from here we praised the quality of the food. This time we ordered the same meals and they were completely different. I had a lamb bhuna that wasn’t a lamb bhuna. It was weak and lacking any flavour. I phoned to complain but got little response. I won’t be ordering from here until a hurry. Very disappointed.

Really slow service and for some bizarre reason the butter chicken was basically cheese sauce with spices. Balti was ridiculously salty. Very disappointed, was the worst Indian I've eaten for several years.

It's clear why the chef is winning awards, the food here is delicious. Definitely the best Indian food in Frome by a mile. Highly recommended.

I went here with my husband and we enjoyed a lovely meal. I had a biryani and my husband had a jalfraisi. The service was good and the staff friendly. Both dishes were excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Table reservation for 7pm on Saturday evening for three people . We ended leaving at 10pm. This is surprising considering it wasn’t overly busy . Curry was average with extremely poor timings between the ordering of drinks, starters and mains . Timings need to be more punctual which would make for better Customer Service .

Chunky tray was abysmal, the naan bread was foul. The korma and rice was tasteless avoid at all costs!

Thought we'd give this new place a try & it didn't disappoint. Service was great and the food was delicious. Not bulked out with loads of onions as so many other restaurants seem to do! The house wine was also delicious and less than £5 for a large glass. We will definitely be going back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the staff were attentive, the food was pretty good, the company was awesome, but was overshadowed by us both listening with rapt fascination to the couple next to us discussing their respective marriage break ups.

I'd walked past a number of times and saw nobody in there. Been meaning to try them out for ages. Made the jump this week and left wondering why they aren't at capacity every night. The service is really friendly and helpful, but the food is the star. I had Kashmiri lamb and my wife had Railway lamb and it's honestly the best I've eaten. Perfectly balanced spices and the side dishes were also really good. Well recommended.

I used to buy take aways or eat at the Jharlmuri quite often. It was very good when I first moved to Frome. Unfortunately my recently experience of ordering a take away from Namiras was very disappointing. All the food was tepid and inedible. The sag paneer was a gelatinous tepid slop. The Lamb tikka pieces were also not hot. They were covered in some sort of soggy coating which was much too spicey. The lamb itself was tasteless and rubbery.

Really nice food, up there with the best Indian I've had. Not bad pricing, the chef even come out for a chat.

A group of 18 over 50’s blokes went at the start of December on a Friday night and we were not disappointed. The chef even went the extra mile and cooked a burger for one of the group. All the stafff were pleasant and well organised. Thank you for a great night.

The food here was fantastic - the best Indian meal ever for me. Delicious, interesting, subtle flavours and so well cooked. The chef came out to talk to us and evidently takes huge pride in this restaurant and his cooking, and it shows. Wonderful food. We're already planning to return.

Do you like restaurants who take your order but decide to serve you different food anyway? Do you like restaurants that deliver staff ‘training’ table side? If you do, then this place is for you! We went here on Saturday for a much needed get together with friends and from start to end it was a disaster! They took forever to take the order and even longer to serve the incorrect food. The manager came over and insisted that we did order this in a very aggressive manner (we didn’t) and then continued to shout at the staff member who took the order right at our table! The food was awful and a bone was in one of the curries. We complained about said bone but we were reassured that there was nothing to worry about as, it was a chicken bone…yeah I think they missed the point. We couldn’t wait to leave and will never come here again, I think I’ll stick to curry nights courtesy of Tesco.

New owners know how to make some amazing food. The Goan fish curry was unbelievable. Recently moved to Frome from London and one of my main worries was the lack of good places to eat. I will 100% come back here as the food was as good as many comparable Indian restaurants in central London.

Just reopened with new management and chef this, we enjoyed our first visit very much. Certainly the dishes we had were very well prepared and tasty. The Chicken Shashlik was delicious and generous with an unusual accompanying mango and chilli sauce. Likewise the Railway Lamb Curry (intriguing name!) was excellent. Even the standard rice and nan tasted very fresh and authentic. The old favourite dishes are offered too - we didn't try one of those this time - but certainly an Indian Restaurant worth trying for the more unusual dishes. We will be back.

Party of ten. Had the all you can eat buffet for £8.95 a head, drinks prices average for the area. One word of warning a lot of food and drinking establishments seem to close at 10pm on weekdays in the middle of August in Frome !!

My Husband and I have just had our first (Takeaway) Meal from there.. And it won't be our last!!!... Absolutely Beautiful Food! The new Owner Gabriel could not have been more accommodating to my needs as a vegetarian.. I always want a dish that technically doesn't exist..But I was able to order with ease! I can't wait to order again.!!

The very best take away I’ve ever had. Finished every last bit of my chicken jalfrezi and my wife ate every bit of her vegetable biryani. Utterly delicious and full of wonderful flavours. Not dry. Moist and succulent. Great value too. Lovely friendly staff too. Will Deffo eat there again or order another takeaway. Thanks.

Great curry and friendly service. Items on the menu offer good variety, from old stalwarts to new (for me) flavours. Fish curries have been very good, and the staff are able to lend a hand when choosing sides for your meal.

You can't go wrong with the 5 course banquet menu for £15 (Wed & Thursday). It includes the mandatory poppadoms with sides, any starter, main and side with bread or naan - plenty of food and a great selection of dishes when dining out with two or more. The service was amazing despite the fact our waiter was running his socks off serving an entire restaurant alone. Would go back just for his friendly smile ✌️

Website says open for takeaway orders but tried for over an hour to get through on the phone but only got a recorded message, not much use in "lockdown"! Called Jays - they answered straight away, took our order and delivered as promised. Not sure how a takeaway operates if they don't answer the phone?

Visited with my son on evening of Saturday 1st June, was seated quickly by friendly and attentive waiting team and our food was fantastic. You can always rely on them for really nice food. Recommended

Can be a bit hit and miss. Been a handful of times. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes it's not the best.

If you're looking for a decent Indian try here, it is a really nice place and staff are helpful, they also do a buffet every Monday which is rather well priced.

I had a really good chicken JAL, with a good thick and spicy sauce. The rest of the table enjoyed everything they had. The staff where great, as one was unable to decide and has now been won over by their recommendations. Not the fastest of curries in the world but worth the wait. Very good Nann and potions size was spot on.

Staff are the gem here and their chicken shashlik is legendary. Never seen such tiny button mushrooms but think pixies and the most delicious mushrooms you've ever tasted. House wine was cheap so I would suggest picking A bottle to enjoy with your meal. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be going back.
