Extremely moody people so rude my girlfriend asked about a drink they said she couldn't have that and gave no reason why

Asked for a tuna subway salad, was told only allowed six olives otherwise it’s a double up and pay extra. I could see the bottom of the box, very limited salad amount- paid £5.60 and top it off a male hair found in my salad!! Vile

Annie the girl serving us was very rude, rushed the food and made it sp we couldn't eat them, asked for gherkins to be added to my sandwich she then refused and said she couldn't as it was a rebuilt salad subway, told her I would happily pay extra, she was rude to all of us and didn't look like she wanted to be there, she apologised for the wait, but If the staff actually wanted to be there then there wouldn't be much of a wait. Surprised this is still open with the amount of bad reviews, either needs new management or better training, absolutely disgraceful service. We will not be going back

for the last 6 years i get the same simple meal. spicy italian. apparently it went off menu and would cost me MORE to have just pepperoni, salami and cheese rather than getting something else with the same ingredients but with ham. so i chose my "spicy italian". whatever.. the main reason for the 2 star is how pushy the guy was in the store with "hitting their target" EVERY POSSIBLE CHANCE to get an upsell was taken and it was far too much. very irritating and very pushy. me and my partner had to repeatedly say no thank you about 10 times each just to get our simple sandwiches made. absolute joke. avoid tuesdays at 1pm to avoid being harassed about your sandwich.

The way they cram everything into one bag crushing the food with the drinks making the food un edible, what should have been put in 2 bags was put into 1. The staff definatly need training as my 6 yr old could do a better job. They do not answer the phones as if they already know a complaint is coming in.

Staff were vacant, no smile, no thank you. Every table was filthy, had to ask to have it cleaned. The member of staff was ignorant when I thanked him for cleaning the table. I found him to be so rude. Not sure we will return.

Shocking service . My friend couldn’t hear the worker when he was ordering so the worker started screaming at my friend. Then we all sat down with our food and my friend took her water bottle out of her bag . The worker shouted to not drink and then she put the bottle back in her bag. Another woman came out the back and told us she had caught us on the cameras drinking when all she had done was take the water bottle out of her bag and put it back in her bag. We said we hadn’t done anything and she started shouting saying we just caught you drinking. We then stood up to leave, unhappy with the service and the man behind the counter shouted at us because one of the chairs wasn’t “properly tucked in”. Never going back

very rude , horrible sandwiches

Received my tacos burnt to literally a crisp, every time I've ordered they come burnt. Filling is a disgrace considering the price they charge

9:30 pm it was empty and the guy made me wait to be served and then told me he could only do cold sandwich and the salad looked like it had been out for ages. The app showed it was too busy to order for collection but the place was empty Totally shocking service and clearly the guy didn’t want to serve so he didn’t have to clean up I will never be going back to this store

As said previously a very stingy subway you would think the staff were paying for the salad themselves as literally put five pieces of sweetcorn in the sub! And my sons had barely any meat. It’s like he was counting the pieces of chicken. I thought subway was known for being generous with salad! Not this one!

Service terrible, sandwich that cost almost £10 had next to no salad on when asked for some more onions was advised there is a set amount of salad we are allowed to put on. Subway for sure has gone down hill in quality with uphill prices.

Always have issues in this store, rude members of staff. Staff refilling their personal used old coke bottles up mid service. Touching the rim of the nozzle with the top of the bottle. Read the other negative reviews…. Cleanliness is poor. This is the only store I’ve ever had issues with and don’t intend on going back. I try and give this store a fresh chance, but they keep destroying it right away.

I enter ther yesterday around 12 pm to eat and it was a bell ringing every mints make everyone crazy 🤪 one off the staff tell me they work like that for about 6 mounts 😳 imagine how they finish the day🤯🤯🤯 I ran way for not be with headache.

New menu confusing, and service with attitude from foreign lady over salad 🙄

I went in at approximately 9:20pm this evening. I was welcomed by a miserable face and the dining area was wet so I thought that they must've been closing. The guy with glasses (manager I think) said that they close at 10pm but they'd turned the toasters off so it was cold sandwiches only. So I asked if they were able to do nachos instead and he said no because everything had been switched off. I decided to leave because they weren't actually serving anything other than cold sandwiches. He did apologise, but really? The store is still meant to be open for another 40 minutes, and you're turning everything off already? I work at Subway myself and we would never turn anything off before closing time, you'll only be losing out on customers that way. I'm sure the employees probably couldn't care less, but for someone in a higher position to do the same is pretty poor practice. It just seems like no one can be arsed to do their job.

Won't ever come here again, almost £10 for a 6" sub for them to throw 3 tiny pieces of onion, 2 tiny pieces of cucumber and the tiniest bit of lettuce. No thanks.

Great service the pigeons are great staff thanks they keep going out to smoke, they aways come to your table to ask how things are and to taste test their food 10/10 Customer services give the pigeons a raise

it’s okay, but often has pigeons walking around inside, staff don’t seem bothered

The most fly infested restaurant I have ever been in and its smelled worst than a garbage truck. Its not that hard to be hygienic come on guys do better!

Refused my friend water today (one of the hottest days of the summer) = illegal. My friend decided then to drink a brought along energy drink, and was kicked out by the same staff member (a ginger haired slightly stockier built girl). This is despite being a returning customer.

My son went in with friends, all of whom were eating other than himself. He asked for a tap water, today being one of the hottest days of the year and he was refused. Staff member was also rude to his friends. Having called the restaurant and spoken to the member of staff I was told that they were not legally obligated to serve water, may be a small thing but it’s really let the company down.

The worse customer service I’ve ever received , when asking about the menu changes and what the options was met with a very rude and disrespectful response , when making changes to my order I was met with eye rolls and huffs and puffs , when it came to salad and sauce was told I was only allowed one change to my meal , after explanning that two items in the sandwich my mum couldn’t eat due to dietary restrictions I was told tuff I just had to pick one change , I proceeded to finish my order as they had already made half the order and when I got to the car to open eat they had cramped multiple differnt items in one box completely ruining the food overall unclean and dirty no customer service and overpriced would not recommend

Stingiest subway I’ve ever had… avoid this one! When you are paying £7 plus for a sandwich, you’d expect a little more than 6 slices (not whole ones!) of olives in your subway. I’m assuming it was the owner of the franchise who was telling his staff off for putting more than 6 tiny pieces of olives in the footlong sandwich. Clearly only interested in making money. I’ve never ever been to a subway where you can’t choose which salad you have and where the salad amount is so restricted. Awful sandwiches.. definitely won’t be returning as other subways are not like this one.

Totally avoid this place, super dirty and stinky and the guy in the counter has the cheek to say we can’t refill the drinks due to COVID (this is in August 2023) LOL !!!!! My partner got a sandwich that include onions and when he asked for more onions have been told we had to pay extra (please check the photo to see how much onions he put) Big joke, we should check previous reviews before go !

Ordered through Deliveroo at 21:00, order accepted. They kept me waiting until 22:15 only to inform me that my order had been cancelled. Pretty pi$$ poor, if you ask me! If you have no intention of delivering my order, don’t accept it in the f’in first place! Cue Subway blaming Deliveroo - not acceptable at all. Don’t accept orders unless you are absolutely sure you can deliver them! It’s not acceptable for you to take orders, then slink your shoulders and blame someone else when you can’t deliver. Really disappointed because I was looking forward to my meal.

Absolutely shocking this is the last time we order from the Truro store everytime they have mucked it up. Wife order completely wrong including the bread nobody awnsers the phone which doesn't surprise me after reading the reviews. Previous orders have been wrong everytime didn't realise you needed a degree to make a sandwich which is printed out in front of you if could zero stars I would sort it out

Poor customer service and a new menu that is too complicated, a simple sub with a bit of salad and cheese is now not an option at a reasonable price, won’t be doing Subway again, much better and cheaper options to get fresh elsewhere at an affordable price

Awful, worst customer service I’ve ever had. Dark haired lady looked and sounded like she was having the worst day of her life and treated me like I’d killed her cat. Will not return

Appalling service!!!, foot long ham/cheese and not alot of ham and cheese=£5.90. Was not going to be eaten straight away so i asked very nicely if the salad could be put in a little tub that they have. Oh no can't do that red head said! Me, I will pay for the little round tubs you have?? Proceeded to grab a big box and said yea this will be £3.50 for the salad, no I said I'm not asking for a whole salad just what I would get on my footlong that I'm paying for. Told her forget it!! So I ended up leaving paying £6 for a baguette with bit of ham and cheese. No salad. Said when paying you should charge me less now I've had no salad on my food!!!! No reply!! Absolutely disgusting service. Never again and I will now put as many people off that subway as I possibly can. Very very disappointed by the little angry ginge who with her attitude and attention to service will lose them alot of trade. 🤨

Useless, why take delivery orders if you have no-one to do the deliveries when order had not arrived 2 hours after I ordered it and keep changing delivery time!!!I cancelled order, will not be using again!!!!

Always love subway, but the female on shift (had gingerish hair) for late night shopping was appalling! Clearly there was a slightly new worker who was trying his best in the rush but the female employee kept being incredibly rude and disrespectful to him when he was just trying to be helpful, quite a few customers saw this & weren’t impressed. Shame.

I've never been to a Subway quite like this. Everything was dirty, dirty floors, dirty table, dirty glass partition with food all over it, and it smelled quite bad too. The staff weren't particularly rude, just totally bored. No smiles, no hellos, no goodbye, just totally uninspired. If you're front of house at least have a bit more about you!

yes this place is a little bit expensive but its really worth it the manger called Andrew really really nice person and if I was working there I would be honored I have had no trouble with him and also if I could I would recommend him to manage of all the subways he is amazing I will definitely go to subway in truro again thank you Andrew for being really kind and respectful

Floor was covered in dropped food and litter and tables were dirty and Unwiped after each customer. One particular staff member is always very abrupt and her customer service is non existent. The chap serving me was pleasant and helpful but he did get a little telling off from the the same abrupt server while making my sandwich. Food is always fine, but the store is always dirty and not kept very well. I don’t think I will return, it’s had enough chances for me to see that cleanliness isn’t a priority front of house, so concerns about the cleanliness where food is stored/prepared set in.

worst subway i’ve been been in. the woman that works here was really rude towards me and my friend. will NOT be coming here again. it’s funny watching them chase pigeons out the shop though lol. i think i might through up

Unfortunately I have to say I’ve been here 3 times over a fair period of time. There was a young chap who was absolutely amazing very funny and made a great sandwich to which I’d give a 5*s to. The other 2 times I’ve been with my friend. we have had the worst experience (it’s not that bad) out of all of the subways we visit (we travel around the country a fair bit). Weirdly it turns out the be the manager who had been working there for 18yrs! Although he’s very fast in his mind, in reality it’s over complicated, overwhelming and thus inefficient. There was no reason to try and be super fast as it wasn’t even busy. He was very nice just a bit intense and that’s coming from someone that is intense himself 😅 Not to be mean, but I’d rather go somewhere else and I will remember not to go out of my way to come here.

Exceptionally rude, unhappy with my colleague walking in and making a large order for our office. Called today to pre-order and also rude and said 'it's a pain to do it this way' - so apparently neither is ok and they just don't want orders of 6+ at a time. Orders are always wrong and the staff are just useless. Won't bother again.

Too much and not enough at the same time.

Extremely slow service today, taking uber eats order as well as serving the big queue of people meant no worktop space, orders piled up and no salad left in the trays. Ordered a salad and no salad left. Asked for a vegi salad and had 1 tiny scoop of cheese (1/4 of an ice cream size scoop) yet if a meat eater wanted a salad they would get meat and cheese. Not impressed with service or quality and I normally love a subway meal. It is the only option in truro now the other store has closed down. If you are doing user eats too there needs to be more prep area and fresh choice for customers in the shop .

Customer service nonexistent, rude, and young girl put one piece of spinach on my sandwich!

Order came quickly, childs ham sandwich came with no ham. Meatball sub apparently had 2 loads of cheese in, can assure you it did not and the nachos came like this????? Shocking. Awful. Do not recommend. When I rang up got told that they used the appropriate portions for each meal, hmmmm. 😂

Young ginger guy that worked in there really needs some training in customer service, said hello he just looked at me, didn’t reply, very rude to me throughout getting my food, didn’t say thank you once. Only said ‘what do u want’ no other communication. Clearly didn’t want to be working there and didn’t care about anything he was doing, not impressed. Would have pulled him up on his attitude, but bit my tongue as I’m sure he wouldn’t care anyway.

Poor service, staff more concerned with their conversation than customers, half the contents fell out of my sub when toasted, tried to just scoop it up with their un-gloved hand from the bottom of the toasting oven, and place it back in the sub. Not impressed. Then went to toast lost filling with no bread. No concept of food hygiene, if after a subway in Truro go to one of the others. Even if there is a long queue.

It's Subway, you cant go wrong! Plus, local vouchers to use helped us get a good value family lunch. Staff were keen to help, atmosphere is what it is for a place where you order, eat and five minutes later have finished and gone.

I am a regular customer the food is great but I am really disgusted with the way the manager speaks to his members of staff and customers. It’s very appalling to see the manager treat the staff with so much disrespect and being rude to them.

Short haired lady with glasses served us, She was rude! I paid and she just walked off and started serving somebody else did not tell me it was done nothing. Ruined my husband's sub by cutting the bread to thin then putting olives when he asked for none. Did not cut it in half. Beyond a rude attitude. We used manners and polite attitudes as we always do. Wont be going back to truro subway again!!

It's pretty much like any Subway in terms of food, value, hygiene etc. The staff the same, underpaid teenagers and twenty somethings working for minimum wage. Except one camp guy, he's amazing. Always really friendly, makes the food super fast, and always seems to be tastier as well. If he's working you won't be disappointed. Oh, and why do I always have to ask for a bag when it's to go? I'm not gonna sit in the street and ear it, I'm always going to need a bag.

Absolutely disgusting place,food all over the floor,the tables were covered in crumbs and rubbish from previous unlucky customers,the girl behind the counter looked like she really didn't want to be there..The " subs"were falling apart before they even got to the wrapper,it was all she could do to put 3 jalapenos on one of the subs,and as for sauce well I think she wanted to keep it all to herself...Never again...!!!!!...
