Absolutely amazing the landlord landlady very lovely people so welcoming friendly lovely couple.

Rather disappointed, wanted to visit and play pool, no information online it's over 18's only, obviously left. Staff were helpful but this should show up on our Google search information.

Beer choice not good..otherwise very good ..service from staff excellent.

Cheap and cheerful, proper boozer

My 18 year old autistic daughter was waiting for a coach when she desperately needed a wee so she entered the pub to ask if she could use the toilet and no one was at the bar! She looked around but had no idea who to ask so went ahead and used the toilet as it was an emergency! When she came out of the toilet the landlord verbally abused her! What an absolute nasty a hole!! Good job I wasn't there or I would be serving time now!! Avoid this pub like the other reviews also suggest!! What a big man he was picking on a young vulnerable girl! Would he have been so abusive if it had been her granddad a previous member of the Wolverhampton hells angels!! I doubt it as blokes like that tend to pick on the weak only!

I don't usually write reviews but this place is a joke. I didn't even finish my first pint and people where beating the hell out of each other. Luckily, there is a back door so I managed to escape. Do not go here! If I could rate this no stars I would have. Seriously, stay safe, stay away!

so I went into this establishment on my holidays hoping to have a nice pint and maybe gamble on the machine a little but on approaching the bar there was no staff behind the bar I waited for about 5 mins then one of the locals said they are smoking out the back they won't be long so another 5min passes then once the bar staff come back I finally get my pint and wonder to myself why this landlord looks so uninviting. so I put my beer on the table and wander over to the bank of 2 machines for a little gamble and from out of nowhere there Mr and Mrs whitehorse hawking over my shoulder so I only played 2 pounds as this made me feel very awkward. ut as soon as I left machine Mr landlord straight in there like a rat up a drain pipe ( he must of know it was ready to pay) so I sat at my table and chatted to a couple oc tje locals and apparently they are constantly watching people play and then coming on after them to take the jackpots. in hindsight beer was gd staff was atrocious and service was non existence and v rude. would not go to this establishment again. take a wide berth people

do not frequent this establishment landlord and landlady both very unfriendly. went in on the fourth of June during epsom racing I asked the landlord for music while we waited for next race I was told no he wouldn't put music on as he couldn't really bothered . REALLY REALLY NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED CASH IN THIS PUB ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT. I would of given no stars but you have to give one 🤯

Old fashioned pub in the heart of Liskeard full of characters. Enjoyed a game of pool and several pints of real ale.

Friendly pub with a great atmosphere and a nice selection of beers and ales. Not badly priced either.

Friendly local in centre of Liskeard. Good selection of ales, and beats the wetherspoons into 2nd place.

Several men in the Pub on a Saturday, but it was nice to have a couple of pints with my oldest son, and a good old chinwag before it was time for me to go home.

Cheap drinks and live sports on tv's. Pool table. friendly locals.

What a lovely bar man he had to go out and get some tea bags to make us a cup of tea. We were only passing through on our way to Plymouth.

Very nice after refurb lovely food.

There is a small seating area to the front of the pub, the bar running longitudinally along the right side of the property. Beyond the bar towards the rear is a pool table, more seating and the toilets. Television screens strategically arranged would tend to confirm that this is a sports bar. There did not appear to be any food available. Beers included Sea Fury and Landlord, plus John Smith's and Worthington; lagers featured were Carlsberg and two others. Prices here seemed very reasonable.

It's a pub no airs and graces . On the high St , large screen Sky sports . Good beer , dog friendly.

I think this pub has really upped it's game since wetherspoons opened. The refurb has give the place the uplift it needed. Prices are fair and In line with the rest of Liskeard. Definitely a good alternative to Spoons.
