Lovely lunch spot the food is always of a high quality the staff get the job done. Lovely and clean place with amazing views of the lake. Great place if you’re really hungry or have time to kill

Update 5/11 purchased subway after 5pm. If you get the skinny brown hair lady BEWARE. She didn't toast my sandwiches at all, and the service was very poor. I thought she had a bad day, so I left it. But now my stomach hurts from eating her sandwiches because she didn't cook them properly. For the extortion price on a footlong I expect to have a decent service and a food that doesn't poison me.... I'll never risk to buy from here again. Would rather drive an extra 15 mins than get the undercooked food and bad service and bad stomach again... Old comment somewhere around 8/06 : Beautiful scenery, tasty fresh food and Lovely staff! The path from car park to subway is fun with lots of water chickens too! 😀

Well, you know what you are going to get at Subway, but why not try the best Subway in town! This Store is large, clean and in an excellent location with views from the rear window across a Boat Harbour. So, enjoy your Sub whilst chilling out watching the wildlife & Boats. Great service, great food and great coffee!

I went there today the lad served me was nice and served as how I wanted only thing which I’m not happy with I had cash with me £50 pound note he rejected to take in a nice way but companies like Subway should take the money as they could get money check machin I didn’t have any other cash hope they sort this problem out thanks

Me and my partner tired to order twice on uber eats, our order was cancelled twice. After this we called the store, and was told there was “a situation in store”. If there is an issue making it difficult to fulfill an order via delivery then wouldn’t you close the store on uber eats? Our orders were an hour and a half before they closed.

I tried to order a foot long Italian hearb and cheese, chicken and bacon melt (as per my usual order). I was told they only do this on white or brown bread. I asked can I have it anyway and was told no because of the way the toast it (WHAT!!). They literally toast everything the same way and I'm sure their company moto is "have it your way", or something to that effect. I'm usually up for the confrontation when ordering as I was once told I had to order a chicken ceser and add bacon, due to menue change, which I didn't mind as I ultimately got what I wanted. This curve ball confused me so I went for the bbq baller (which wasn't nice) on my preferred bread as it peaked my curiosity while waiting in line. I wish I'd walked out of the store there and then as I now feel as though the girl has won the situation. Very upset!!

Slow paced environment, staff seemed like they had no clue on what they were doing. one staff member didn’t speak/understand English which made making our order really difficult. Our food was not up to usual subway standard, will be using our usual branch going forward.

New menu change no explanation with it you can’t have steak and cheese with salad anymore. Staff could barely speak enough English to explain. Left as wasn’t spending that much money when you can’t customised what you want anymore. I won’t be using subway anymore anywhere.

This place just made my day!!! I was feeling under the weather didn’t even have much of an appetite, Marina the lady who served me was so friendly, soft spoken and patient and even went on to recommend the best sandwich I had ever had in subway! I like a lot of salad on mine and it’s like she knew my mind and was even able to close the sub!!! The restaurant is so clean even the toilets are a+ clean… So glad I decided to have a subway today… Cheers Marina.

The staff at the restaurant are very friendly, and I’ve always enjoyed their food. However, during my visit today, I encountered an issue that was quite concerning. While eating, I discovered a small piece of metal (possibly wire) in my food. I realized this while chewing, and it was an unpleasant surprise. I understand that such incidents can happen occasionally, but it’s crucial for the restaurant to ensure strict food safety and hygiene practices. I hope this feedback helps them take necessary precautions to prevent similar issues in the future.

There are always good people and good times to be found at the Garibaldi hotel! A wide variety of bands and events all year round , for a small venue it packs a punch!

We booked a table in advance and arrived at 5 pm when the restaurant wasn’t busy. We ordered our starter and main courses together, along with drinks. The starter arrived within 15 minutes, which was great, and we finished it in about 10 minutes. However, after the plates were cleared, we waited 40-45 minutes for our mains with no communication from staff. During this time, no one came to check on us, offer more drinks, or even acknowledge the delay. I sat with an empty glass for about 25-30 minutes, and no explanation was given about why the food was taking so long. When the mains finally arrived, we still weren’t offered more drinks. My sister had to go and ask a member of staff to serve us, and even then, the apology we received was weak and didn’t feel genuine. After finishing our mains (which were cleared away after another delay), we raised our concerns with the staff. They passed the message on to the manager, who offered a round of drinks as compensation. We declined, as we had already been there for two hours and didn’t want to wait any longer. Unfortunately, no further effort was made to address the issue—there was no discount on the bill or any other gesture of goodwill. When the manager came over to process our payment, there was no acknowledgment of our complaint, no apology for the poor service, and no effort to make amends. As we left, the staff near the door didn’t even say goodbye or thank us for coming, which felt dismissive. We’ve always had excellent experiences at their sister restaurant, The Smoke Pit, where the food and service are consistently amazing. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment, especially considering we live around the corner from this place. We sadly won’t be returning.
