Subway in Coventry

I had the misfortune of visiting this Subway in Coventry and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. I ordered a small chicken tikka sub and was charged £5.99, which is a shocking £1.50 more than what I usually pay (£4.49) at other locations for the exact same sub. To make matters worse, the bread was stale, and the lettuce was wilted. It's clear that freshness is not a priority here. The worst part, however, was the lack of fillings – the assistant was very stingy with the ingredients, clearly following strict instructions from the owner to minimize the portions. Overall, this was easily the worst Subway experience I’ve had in Coventry. I won’t be returning and would advise others to avoid this location.

I asked for ketchup she put chilli sauce and she ruined my food that's the only food I ate this day she ruined it

Delivery was very late, not sure if it was driver’s fault or restaurant’s fault, food was cold when it arrived. Absolutely appalling. Worst service I have ever encountered. Fix this please

Saturday 8:15 p.m. Subway closed

Driver couldn’t care less, restaurant got the order wrong and missed off my drink. Took absolutely ages to prepare the order. Food come cold

Delivery time kept moving despite it being ordered in advance. Driver said the branch was super busy but I suspect it was partly that and partly that he had about 5 orders to deliver looking at the route he took. On arrival the wrap was poorly made and presented (not even folded up properly).

La última vez que pedí 2 grandes brujas Breck en wraps (no como pan) una con queso otra con queso vegano, la primera la metieron en el horno plano para tostarla sin que se envolviera. Cuando pedí la 2a por favor que se envolviera antes de brindar la persona que servía simplemente la enrolló dejando ambos extremos abiertos. (así es también como 'envolvieron' la abierta tostada) Una vez que nos sentamos nuestros dos envoltorios se estaban cayendo a pedazos con más comida en el papel que enrollada en el envoltorio, tan pronto como mordimos en cada uno nos dimos cuenta de que ambos envoltorios estaban fríos como piedra .. como si no se hubiera calentado en absoluto el hachís marrón que nos referimos como 'frigorífico frío' no era agradable. El día antes de esto (aproximadamente 2 semanas antes) pedimos exactamente lo mismo que se indica arriba. Los dos estaban calientes en partes, pero en su mayoría fríos, sin embargo, el rompedor del trato aquí fue que hicieron los envoltorios uno con queso vegano uno con queso normal como se solicitó, pero procedió a entregarlos a nosotros sin hacernos saber cuál es cuál, cuando pregunté cuál es el queso vegano el servidor simplemente en blanco me miró dijo que no sé .. y se fue para servir a otro cliente. Me quedé allí un momento esperando que volvieran con una respuesta o algo así, pero desde ese momento fui ignorado. Este es solo 2 de muchos muchos ejemplos de mala comida y mal servicio de este punto de venta en Gallagher parque minorista Coventry.

Absolutely disgusting place and the worst stuff in the world! You can’t understand what they saying at all just like the phone calls you get !

Went in to get 2 bbq ballers and a big breakwich they mucked up 1 of the orders and the other 2 where correct however all three subs where stone cold, absolute disgrace to the subway brand, even when I phoned them they processed to call me a lyer and the cookies tasted like they where a weak old wouldn't even give them to a dog, absolutely disgusting

Rude Indian lady I Spent £33 in subway and received poor customer service. Employee wasn’t happy to serve me because she was finishing and was given cold fries. She didn’t even bother asking if wanted salad or not in the sub. I Asked what I get in the meal and shouted like I was supposed to know what I get in the meal. Next time don’t understaff the place, so you can give good customer service and have people who are actually happy working there.

Possibly the worst subway I’ve ever had, watered down marinana which was like a watery soup, Diet Coke that was again watered down, was essentially sprite

Awful service, part of my order wasn’t given I mean how hard is it to check what has actually been ordered. Opened my drink which was shaken up and spilled all over my sub which was also cold when delivered. The service by Just Eat lately has been Absolutely pathetic. I’ll think again using them next time

Congratulations for being the worst subway in the UK. Miserable staff that were arguing in the back room when I got in there. Looked at me like I'd asked for gold bullion when I asked for some extra olives. Somehow charged me 25% more than any other location for the same food... The negative reviews for this restaurant are true 😀

Well, I ordered 5 wraps WITH 5 TERIAKI DIPS. I recieved mingy wraps with very little filling, not even worth the £2.69 each and recieved 0 dips! I paid £5.49 for a footlong cookie, which I did NOT recieve. I ordered last week where I had no dip for my wrap and twice I ordered a cherry coke and recieved no sugar plain coke. Very disappointing tbh. Plus you do not get to chose what salad is put in your sandwich, which is the point of a subway, YOU choose. I won't order a subway again.

Wrong order and would iot refund, had to wait an hour for management to turn up , was told they don't do refunds , very poor and rude staff , staff were rude , DO NOT USE

Cost of a footlong has increased by £1.80, less vegetables and sauce given than previously so now it's less food for a higher price. Not worth it. Can see why Subway are posting leaflets with offers on them to try getting customers back.

Went in on weekend 2 Indian ladies badly badly need to learn customer service, not approachable at all, terrible engaging with customer. Failing the subway brand badly, I can see why subways are closing down in UK, it’s the staff. When I got to the till I had a free footlong on my app, even though I got a footlong chicken tikka I asked lady to wrap 6inch separately. She’s then refused the free subway you can’t have it free because you had 2 6inch subs. I’ve never heard anything so stupid. These subway promotions are just to get customers through the door. But fail to give you free sandwiches. Be careful people this subway is a pure CON!!!!!

I went to collect the food 15mins before closing and the staff denied the offer that is available for the footlong and I was not allowed to pay through the points that I had. Also she left to the staff room leaving the foo d in the till. Very bad service.

Rude staff! Wouldn’t accept special offers from the app as “ the scanner wasn’t working “. Not our fault. We suggested solutions, no chance! Poor portions too, tuna scraped on and scraped off again!

Went with my family to eat 1h before closing, as we going to order they said you can't stay here only takeaway as a went others subways we always allowed because 1h left we don't take much to eat it. So we said let's take only sons food because he love meatball and we eat Mcdonald where we can eat sitting, as she gave the food we paid and didn't won't to give recipt and didn't won't to scan for points that notice alot of places are doing that. But this time I know why se didn't won't to give recipt because my son meat balls was cold from the fridge and I order that alot of time and was always hot. And they said is closing so we serve it cold. My son was crying so much because he like then hot not cold. If I didn't pay I'm sure I didn't take them. We eat 2 times a week in subway and I think mind be the last as a paying customer expect same service evey time, staff need more training as it look like they want to go home on Sunday instead to serve and same time I was there at least 5 people left without paying, because of service.

Stingy with food, asked for steak and cheese on Italian herb and cheese, no cheese on the baguette, half filled with steak cost me over £10 for meal and portion given was ridiculous

We were out shopping at Pets at home, Matalan and Homebase when my 4 year old suddenly decided she wanted to use the washroom , we decided to go in for a sub as well as some coffee ( since it was the closest to Homebase with a washroom). I was ahead with little one and asked to use the washroom, the server made us wait and went to ask the manager and promptly returned to tell us that their washroom is out of order. ( wonder how the server didn’t know that 🤦🏽‍♀️), her suggestion was to go to Costa, so we’ll someone else got the business too 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Been to few subways in my time and never left a review as always get decent service. But this actual store is one to avoid. Been here 2 times and both times have been the same. Rude staff feel like they don’t want to be here, the portions are smaller than other places (nachos) and when you ask to put extra salad or sauce they pull faces and even refuse to put any salt or pepper on my sub as apparently the manger told them not to!!

Avoid, staff needs customer service training. They are busy talking to each other instead of concentrating on serving the customer.

Horrible service! Rude staff! Staff refuced to provide free snack with my sub although I had more than 400points on my subcard saying that they didn’t have any nachos. When I asked for cheese bites instead refused that saying that’s not a snack. On top that, the sub was horrible too- staff didn’t add 2 full scoops of chicken tikka for the Sub and upon asking removed all the chicken from the sub and put even less later. Salads were not enough either and also very messy Sub. Wouldn’t recommend at all!!

Went earlier today and was disappointed as staff were soo condescending and rude would not recommend.

Best customer service i've ever witnessed by any fast food service, managed to get one of the workers names , Prabhjot, so would like to massively thank them.

I arrived to Subway at 8:35pm and heard from an employee that it was already closed and I couldn't buy anything.

Went to subway 10mins before closing time, was told by the workers they were closed. The manager was driving past and told me to go back in, they are open and shouldn’t have told me different. Went back into the shop and the workers thought it was funny they got caught trying to close early. Kept giggling throughout the time I was there and got no apology.They had put everything away, service was slow, my toasted food was getting cold whilst they were trying to get the salad out. I asked for a cup holder, had 5 drinks to hold and they wouldn’t give me one. Awful service but thank you to the manager.

Ive been to alot of subways and have to say here was the best, EVER! The food was cooked to perfection and was super delicious, the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable & even remembered a a regular customers order! Overheard a few customers saying they thought their order was perfect and looked delicious! I 100% agree, thankyou ladies😁

Every time my order is incorrect, this is the first subway store that does not get it right every time. Every other store in town or on Lockhurts Lane is always a 10/10. Poor communication and customer service. I'd give you a 0... rating if you could. Instead of ordering, go to 54 Lockhurts Lane Subway.

Loved this place manager and two ladies that usually serve me are lovely but the woman that served me today has ensured that we won't be returning ,burnt meatballs ,sandwich too soggy to hold ,sandwich represented the servers attitude disappointing and off putting

Really nice helpful staff. Had asian lady and man serving. Plenty of filling in roll and hot tea prepared quickly and efficiently. Thankyou for your help getting my property back after leaving it in shop!!

Staff members are absolutely unprofessional. Got my order wrong (gave meat, being vegetarian) and when investigating my complaint they turned around and said they did nothing wrong.

Food excellent and I was delighted to find vegan options which they now advertise. Therefore I was disappointed that their hot drinks in terms of options available do not match their food. Subway must now be one of the very few restaurants that does NOT offer cows' milk alternatives! They don't even serve soya milk!! I was hoping for oat milk to go with my vegan lunch but was offered a semi skimmed uht sachet which the server thought would do!! Please Subway get your vegan act together. We're still in Veganuary so now is the time to review your options.

Very poor service from staff members, refused access to wash facilities and toilets claiming this is due to covid.

It's the same girl who serves me and my family on the weekend and she never smiles or speaks with us for some reason. She'll take payment and not prompt/ remind us to claim points. This has happened more than once. She could not confirm which number on customer receipt to use for claiming points via your app. We won't be using this store again given the very poor customer engagement and experience. In fact, she can be replaced with a robot and it'll do a better job, promise! If you can relate to this experience at all please do the right thing and hit the thumbs up to help make an impact and difference.

Just been to this subway for the second (and last) time - both times the woman there was so rude who served us. First of all she was annoyed that we asked for something that wasn’t in stock - which was still being advertised. Then she proceeded to cover my sub in cheese that I didn’t ask for - ask then got annoyed when I asked for it to be removed. Lastly, the payment, she threw my change onto the counter at the end of a terrible visit. - Cherry ontop really. Not the customer service you expect from a usual great company. Won’t be visiting again that’s for sure.

Missed cheese on my footlongs for delivery and then argued that the cheese was there! I even paid for extra but they were not interested. Avoid at all cost as they are liars and swindlers. Very unhappy as you may well realise 😕 They lied that they looked at cctv to see the order made and still argued even when shown the sandwiches WITHOUT cheese. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Always able to provide last minute platters when ever I requested. Always feel accommodated. Clean. Positive environment. Following the rules due to capacity (covid requirements). Never had an issue at this location with any order we have placed.

Don't bother to get your sandwiches from this shop. Staff are stingy with the salads!. Plus very poor service! Also I had a issue with redeeming my points on my subway app at their till and the staff were so rude.🙄There just interested in taking your money and make excuses not to redeem subway points!! Not sure as to why there are some bad reviews here, I've never had any issues and I'm a regular customer. Every time I visit this branch, I'm highly satisfied with the service. The food is always delicious plus the staff are always friendly, polite and well mannered. They always go above and beyond to make my order to perfection. Honestly, cannot fault this branch.

It was subway as you would expect but staff were miserable, inflexible and very mean with the salad. Asked for sunblush tomatoes and they put on fresh. When I ask for it to be removed I was greeted with attitude. Asked for spinach, got 2 leaves.... Come on guys it's not expensive. A similar rule followed for pickles, olives and jalapeños. They then criticised by daughter for her sauce combination on her sandwich. I thought her sandwich was supposed to be as she wants not how they think it should be.... No wonder you were empty at lunch time. Won't be coming back because the staff attitude left a bad taste in my mouth!

they have a new staff who does not even know how to server customers One asking me for the toppings and at the same time other lady is asking me for the payment, social distancing is not adhered to satisfaction poor service.

Quite a new subway and very well located. The only downside is there isn't a pedestrian crossing which makes its sometimes difficult if you have parked on the opposite road.

The staff are very friendly and the sandwiches are always good quality and taste, even being busy .the restaurant was clean . I would definitely recommend coming to this subway .

*This review is based on my most recent visit* I visited the other day and the service was lousy. Two female members of staff, one was cleaning the food area while the other was serving. Ordered my sandwich and asked which salad I wanted, which was ironic, as there wasn't even any salad on display (what!); so I asked "where is it?" (It was back up against a wall somewhere) Mistake #1 then I had my salad added and chose lite mayo as a condiment. The girl then put WAY too much on which effectively ruined the sandwich (someone is not familiar withless is more) mistake #2. Overall a disappointing experience...would not use again based on last visit.

This Subway had fresh sandwiches, which tasted as great as they do in a regular Subway.

Messed up my order via uber eats, asked for double cheese + toasted, got 0 cheese and untoasted. Friends have also had bad experiences via uber eats here, sandwich is also always wrapped in deli paper which is unhygienic.

If your muslim or vegetarian please STAY AWAY. I simply asked for Vege patty the lady had changed her glove but when she had placed the food to be roasted she dealt with the next customer who order a meat but with the same gloves grabbed hold of my food from the machine and I was totally shocked😱😱😱. I walked straight out never In a million years will I ever come back 🤮🤮🤮🤮 NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MUSLIM OR VEGETARIAN.

I just walked into this Subway, as I quite frequently do and asked for a wrap that I usually get. Nothing special, just Chicken, lettuce, tomato, peppers and cheese. I was told by a young female employee, wearing black plastic spectacles that they wouldn't be able to make the wrap. I found that really strange as I got the wrap the previous day at lunch time from a different employee, who had no issue making the wrap. I've never had this issue before. When I asked why that wrap couldn't be made, she replied and said they didn't do it. After being told these lies, I had to drive up the road to the Arena park Subway, which is owned by the same owner as the Gallagher one. I had no problems getting the wrap from there. The particular female employee who was serving, needs to stop lying and the owner needs to employ people who are at least trained properly. It's not rocket science. Just avoid this Subway.

Love this place for quick meal on the go

This Subway is hit and miss. Sometimes you get staff that just slap your sandwich together, sometimes you get staff who actually take pride in what they are doing. Sadly, the latter has become very rare. On my recent visit, I experienced staff to have a bit of a bad attitude. If they don't like where they are working, they shouldn't take it out on paying customers. Paying customers are people who technically contribute paying their wages. I would advise visiting a different Subway outlet rather than this one, if you can.

Clean and friendly good choice of food

The place was pretty small but it was very cozy it's an amazing place to go to after school and it's very easy to go to because of many busstops and it's in the city centre lastly they sell halal meat aswell if you would like that ❤
