Subway in Glasgow City

so poor, the guy that served me didn’t even speak or acknowledge me. So rude, shocking customer service. When he did speak couldn’t even hear or understand him

Came in to this store with getting some food While waiting to be served i was completely shocked by some girl very young sure was manager . the way she was speaking to other members of staff... (to whom i really truly felt bad for other member of staff needing to be treated in such away!). The store itself is drastic looking not looking clean at all the toilet with in store was disgusting! 🤢. The manager, the very young looking girl was doing absolutely nothing with doing any type of work. Just standing around & on her phone She clearly is not suitable in anyway to be doing a managers position based with in food store! Maybe health & safety need call & to be sent there with just turning up without any warning towards store. You really need get your store in order including giving out a manager’s position to very young girl who has no clue what she doing and seems to pick on other members of staff.

Just bought a steak salad bowl the guy huffed when I ordered threw the food in then when I asked for cheese on top he huffed again then when I asked for sauce put half a bottle on the salad was just threw on and there was 4 strands off steak not the 72 g your memg to get actually shocking service

Unfortunately I was a meal deal cookie short, everything else was ok.

There Is a girl working in this shop sadly I don't know her name as her name tag is blank, (Indian I think) cannot make a sub to save her self practically throws the salad on so, doesn't cut a footlong, and puts the sauce at the edges of the bread, if I could give 0 stars I would

They delivered the food to reception without calling to say that they were here or texting. They never asked for a room order so reception had no idea who to call for the food. By the time we got the food it was freezing.

The food was great and have nice taste. The atmosphere was a bit crowded and not well organised. Long queues.

It took a very long time to assign a driver, then a long time for the driver to get to the restaurant. The food was cold by the time it arrived even though the restaurant was only a few minutes away.

Shocking service. Delivery driver said he was downstairs but when my boyfriend went down to reception AND outside the hotel, there was no sight of anyone delivering food. He then phoned and said he had to leave as it was too late. Then said he left it at reception. My boyfriend was downstairs for about half an hour or so waiting for this food to be told it was delivered to the wrong hotel which he has had to go and collect. Complete waste of time and that’s around £30 on freezing cold food. Not happy with my service or food today.

Had the worst sub ever. Ordered toasted Veggie delite for myself and chicken tikka for my friend. The bread was toasted more than needed as it became more like a biscuit/rusk. The staff (lady) could be a little nicer. Not everyone understands Scottish Accent easily.

No cookie and the nachos were put in the bag in there side so the cheese ,which wasn’t a lot of, was in the side with the little salsa was on the side of the box so was just like plain Doritos. Understand there’s new staff in so it’s okay 👍

Tried to order food several times for it to empty my basket at the end because something was out of stock. Why have things on the menu that are out of stock? As I was in a rush I just selected something simple. I turned up and was ignored for around five minutes (no other customers in the shop). I then was asked what I wanted and I said I’d placed an order on just eat. The girl then asked for an order number. My phone unfortunately wasn’t connecting to the WiFi so couldn’t get the number and she said “Just give me your name” Her attitude was stinking and the thing I ordered wasn’t up-to much either. The Primo was basically a cheese toastie. Will visit subway again and get my usual but not this one.

Worst subway I have been to. Always trying to scrimp and scrape portion sizes - cutting meatballs in half never seen that before; giving minimal chicken on chicken bacon ranch - watched the women scoop chicken out then shack half of it back into the pot to make sure bare minimum was given you would think they would give you what you pay for it’s not exactly cheap. Would not recommend if you want value for money!!!

New to the country and had trouble ordering from the store since I didn't know what the procedure was, but the sweet lady making my meal was extremely kind and helped me out. The meal was amazing. Would definitively recommend!

First staff member who served me could not understand my request and then a higher level manager took my order and said take away only as store was closing in an hour, so eat in was not an option. Eat in not an option with an hour to go when I was ordering one sub, ridiculous. Poor customer service all round

The restaurant phoned me to say they didn’t have the cookies but couldn’t just refund me for them. They asked me to cancel & reorder but I couldn’t do it on the app so I asked if I should just report the items as missing for the refund and they said yes. I reported the items as missing 4 hours ago and have still not had my refund. Previously when I have had missing items this has been resolved very quickly which leads me to believe that the store have not confirmed that they weren’t sent yet.

Friendly helpful staff, Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner, place has some space to sit in and eat or to takeaway.

It's ok. Half the time they never have gluten free rolls ..only told after waiting 15mins in the que. Would probably be better if they put a sign up! Need to hire more staff for the lunch time rush too

I would've presumed the app would've let me know the driver had left, I got that notification (or similar) after he'd called me.

Used the app for a deal so the meal worked out great value. There was quite a big queue when I arrived however staff were quick to serve and the queue was kept moving. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that got the job done. A decent sized sitting area but an ideal location for takeaway as well. Convenient location for a subway if your getting a train from central station.

Went to subway union st for a quiet cuppa and sandwich. First stop the toilets were disgusting, someone peed all over the floor. When mentioned it to staff, a couple of young ones butted in saying they peed all over the floor, then gave us a barrage of abuse. When we spoke to the manageress she said they were paying customers, and done nothing. Do oh so we’re we, expecting a quiet meal. What a stinking attitude. Won’t be back.

The food was stone cold when I asked for it toasted. And I did not get all the things I asked for on the sandwich, and it was the wrong cookie. Very disappointed.

I ordered this for my husband at work. The food arrived frozen and the meatballs on the sub were inedible as he described them like bricks. Will not order again x

Pathetic service and doent allow to dine in everytime visited even before more than 1 hour left for closing time. It was at 6.50pm and after preparing the order they told its take away and I told I have to walk long way so was not possible to take away.but still they didn't allow to dine in. it was not told before the food prepared and few other ppl were sitting in side. This happend 3rd time now. NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE

I’ve not received my delivery what was meant to be at 14:23 today on the 13/12/2020 I got 3-4 phone calls asking me to open the big complex door and I pressed the key button 6 times and he decided to tell me to come down and get my food. I wan not happy with the tone and the pure attitude he gave towards me I’ve asked for a refund and still got nothing back yet he was gone when I got to the bottom floor to get my food. And I’ve still not got my food or refund nor do I want my food no more. It was disrespectful for me to go get my food in the first place and then to drive off when I had to make my way down to the ground floor for the guy to not be there.

Service was ok until a request for the toilet turned in the an episode of crystal maze, climbed round signage placed as obstacles for the local junkies, as if a coded door wasn't enough to deter them, then the standard issue UV light incase me or my daughter decided to smack it up with a dose of the gear for dessert.

Ordered a BLT, the principal ingredients being Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato. Received just Bacon. App did not make it clear that you had to specify the ingredients in a pretty well-known sandwich. Store did make it right in person, and advised this is not the first occurence. App is really not clear that you need to do this. Just-Eat has basically ripped me off of the delivery fee, and would prefer to go in person.

Subway is great for a quick, tasty and fresh lunch and has plenty options, also vegetarian and healthy.

Okay place. Can be a little crowded at lunch time which is understandable considering the location. Staff's polite. They don't complain if you request they change their gloves.

Was extremely angry to be denied bacon,my favourite meat,I get they dont want to eat or touch it but I'm the one eating it,they have gloves,loads of folk in the service industry dont like what they serve,but still do,I won't be back

La rama en sí está bien, aparte del aire acondicionado frío y ventoso, incluso en invierno. Pero las personas que entran son muy diversas, debo decir, y esto no siempre es el fin de semana. Desde borrachos ruidosos actuando, las bromas agresivas de Glasgow, cómo el personal hace frente, no lo sé. Las personas que gritan y se insultan a sí mismas, por cualquier razón, no es de mi incumbencia, pero no es una experiencia relajante. Un extraño contando su dinero en mi mesa cuando hay muchas mesas vacías, ¡extraño! Las personas que intentan intercambiarte dinero por una nota falsa, un borracho que abre la puerta del baño mientras estoy allí, (lo cual no tenía problemas para ser un hombre, pero si era una mujer en el baño). Esta rama, tenga en cuenta que no es el lugar más relajante para estar.

Just an average day getting me a sub

All was fine here. Food fine, service fine, cleanliness fine. Nothing wrong with my steak and cheese sub.

Always long queue but fast moving

Food was good. We got sub of day. Turkey plus all the salad and sweet n sour sauce. Tea and a side. Choice was pkt crisps or choice of cookie. All for £3.50 It was cold inside asked staff if poss air con to be turned down. No problem he said. 😁 Only thing was tables needed cleaned/tidied from last customers meals. Otherwise would gave 5☆

One of my treats on a Friday whilst at work, Subway just revamped their menu and I have to say the wraps on offer, Provide great value and a lot.of food, definitely fills a void.

Recientemente fui atendido en una de sus tiendas que se encuentra en la calle Union al lado de Glasgow Central por un miembro del personal muy grosero. No solo era grosero conmigo, sino también muchos otros clientes antes que yo. El individuo cuya actitud era vergonzosa tenía anteojos y cabello rubio. Creo que es muy inapropiado que el metro haya empleado este tipo de personas. Yo no voy a volver.

Being able to create your own sub

Very much a regular in subway but on this occasion I left without food as member of staff refused to toast my sandwich with the tomatoes on it. Never ever been an issue in any other store. This was a wee while ago but wouldn't be back in this particular store again.

Had their daily special. It tastes as it does here in Canada. Very small shop got crowded as we waited...but not unexpected. Close to the Grand Central Station.
