Subway in Glasgow City

I asked for extra cheese and I barely had any never mind extra.

workers are pretty rude and with an attitude. also, why have a saladbox on the menu if you can't even make it properly

forgot my taco and my crisps from the meal deal. terrible

food was wrong order, items missing, sub was soggy and not bread ordered.

Cold waffle fires that were soggy and the whole lot stuck together. Sandwich was bad, paper inside the sub, doesn’t look anything like the subway I get from shettleston, much better just wish they open later

Food order was a disaster. Cheese wrong, no sauce on 1 sub, no free beef item and no cookies. Can’t contact to process refund. Disgraced with the service

I have visited this subway on several occasions and the male staff member has never failed to be invasive and rude to me. Personal questions of a sexual and racial nature are completely inappropriate for customer service interactions. I am surprised action has not already been taken against this individual as he has exhibited no shame in making these comments. I implore Subway to consider their hires with more care in future.

The delivery driver that came wanted me to go down then asked if I had a partner or brother then when I mentioned I have a partner he decided to actually come up and deliver the food

Food didn’t even arrive. It was marked as delivered but no one came to my door or even phoned me. It has just disappeared.

Awful, ordered 2 subs, 3 sides and 6 cookies, only the subs arrived!! Spend £30 quid on just two subs is an absolute joke. Tried calling the restaurant, no one is answering at all. Just eat won’t even give me the money back cos they don’t believe that I did not receive that much, which is a joke. Avoid!

I love the subs that I order and I think they turn out great. However for some reason they keep giving me the spicy cheesy bites with jalapeño when I order the regular ones through uber. This keeps happening on and off and I have no idea why. I guess I should just order them when I’m there in person.

I'm a regular customer at this Subway, visiting 2-3 times a week as it’s close to work. However, the customer service experience has taken a nosedive over the past 4-5 months. The employees, particularly one individual, have consistently shown a lack of basic manners. They neither welcome me nor express gratitude for my service. When I make specific requests, like asking for a particular salt in my food, they seem unwilling to fulfill their job responsibilities. There’s a specific employee who not only fails to greet me but has gone so far as to mock me, making inappropriate comments about my personal life. I was shocked when he mentioned hearing about me supposedly getting kicked out of a club, a conversation he likely had with a colleague. This breach of privacy is completely unprofessional. The situation escalated when during a recent visit today, I jokingly commented on the frequent request to show my student card to him over and over again, something no other staff member insists on. Instead of taking it lightly, the employee threatened not to serve me, claiming I was being cheeky. This is particularly frustrating considering the continuous disrespectful behavior I've endured, including sexual jokes when I initially started visiting this place by him. It’s disheartening to witness such unprofessional conduct, and I feel compelled to bring attention to it. The lack of courtesy and the inappropriate comments have reached a point where it's affecting my overall experience, even though my sole intention is to get my food without any hassle. It's high time the management takes a thorough look at the customer service dynamics within their establishment.

Food was good, but wrong drink delivered

Driver shows up and tells me he forgot the food at the restaurant. No worries, I understand he may have just been distracted, but not really sure how this happened. He insistently asked me not to complain which felt odd. He returns ten minutes later with my “food” which felt light and once I got upstairs did I realise it’s only my sandwich, no drink or crisps.

I have visited this branch twice on 15.11.2023 and 22.11.2023. When I was paying the bill, it was said that the QR Code scanner for the reward points was not working and I was told that I would be given the bill and from that I can claim the reward points. I remembered to claim the bill yesterday only, but I found out that I was issued a duplicate copy of the bill both times and the Claim number isn't available in it. Now I am not able to claim the reward points anymore.

0* everything wrong. Wrong crisps in nachos, no toppings either. Sub flattened. No bottle of juice I ordered om bag either.

Great food at great prices. Served by a very nice and friendly young man, think he was new. Very warm and smily member of staff

Called store to make some changes and person on another end was so arrogant, told me to dont give instructions.... so cheap behaviour and if he keeps on doing this to customers then its a great loss to store @subway

Just ordered/got delivery of a foot long subway sandwich meal deal and 3 cookies, there were no crisps and the cookie was missing from the meal deal and the 3 cookies were also missing so I have just paid over £16 for a sandwich and a drink and the shop it was ordered from are not answering the phone despite being open. Not happy at all to say the lear

I was given someone else order I had to pay again to get the right order I don't think I will be using Just eat again as this us the third time this has happened. I liked Just Eat because it was always delivered when they said it would be but I paid £34.00 for the delivery that I wanted I think I will be trying another delivery service in future and will advise my friends and family also

Just came back from an long day with meetings with Tv & Film companies and Went in and was served by extraordinary duo Craig & Sai! They’re truly amazing men! An credit to the industry! Customer service & sense of humour were absolutely top-notch! Highly recommended! Sai & Craig deserve a raise! Thank you lads!

This was one of the worst takeaways I’ve had, wrong bread that was stale, no extras that I ordered and wrong juice was sent too, the garlic bread was also very undesirable, dry and very little cheese on. Will not order again

Bread condition was bad. Wasn't even cut properly and crumbled all over the place. Didn't seem fresh.

Didn't receive my meal. Wasn't the restaurant, it was the driver at just eat.

MY ORDER WASNT DELIVERED AT ALL. I waited over 2 hours order i called the restaurant multiple times they said no driver has came to pick it up, and my food was just sitting there for over 2 hours cold and stale. The order status did not update its now 19:25pm I place the order 16:48pm. It saying it been delivered. At this point I'm incredibly frustrated. I've sent an email stating I didn't recive my order i just want my money back. A refund.

I ordered all the vegtables and i didnt even get half off them, i only got lettuce,onion,cucumber and jalapenos. It was also cold when it got here even thought its a 3 minute bike ride and we did ask for toasted.

Items short on 1.5 ltr of soft drinks not the first time an order was screwed up by Subway Hope Street. If you order a large sub you get the small but are charged full price. Don't order from this one.

Sandwich was burnt. Nacho chicken quite rubbery, couldn’t eat and also received two wrong items.

As there more folk ordering via Deliveroo and just eat, I find it time consuming when u actually are ordering in the shop. As though priority is online customers,sometimes longer than it should for my order to be taken... I think the should restructure the restaurant to cater for deliveries... Food is always great though.

Ordered one sandwich and got a note saying didn’t have it, so the restaurant decided just to pick an alternative. Not acceptable. A call and to be asked is what should have happened. One lost customer.

Always tasty and good value for money

My sandwich was not toasted as asked (this is the 2nd time this has happened) - its really not as nice when it's not toasted. Also, the meal deal was missing the drink :-(

Been here a few times( hope street ) never again .maybe caught all 3 staff on a bad day ,🤔 NY other subway I've been to in Glasgow out 6 slices of ham in a foot long not these chap they have reduced to 4 .ok it happened but since when do they stop toasting your sub with 10 seconds to go .too many cut corners .don't think any of the staff could find a smile between them defo been the poorest subway I've been into

Everything fine but nachos left more to be desired. Hardly any cheese or salsa. Didn’t select for jalapeños but got them anyway. Maybe the selection was for extra.

The food had no heat what so ever in was really cold

I ordered 2 salads for a working lunch both with double meat - only single meat was in. Also asked for one with no lettuce and only spinach - got lettuce. Asked for crispy onions, peppercorns and rock salt - none of that either

Everything was fine untill you open the steak sub to find it untoasted and freezing cold .

We ordered 2 portions of nachos and they were shockingly bad. There was one tiny pinch of cheese on them. And the salsa was just dumped in a small pile in one corner of the box so half of them weren’t even covered in anything. Unbelievable… no proportion at all. Not happy.

The service I received was exceptional from a woman called Erin I believe and while the review is 5 star, it is really down to how she handled a difficult period when it got slightly busy on her own as her colleague never returned from a break or something. She is a credit to the branch and the company as a whole however I would say its extremely unfair for her to be put in position when she is being such a great member of staff.
