Subway in Bradford

This is the only Subway I will order from now, as all other Subways have hard bread or other issues with the food quality. This Subway has, at least for me, remained incredibly consistent in terms of quality.

Ordered a create your own sub through Uber eats and specifically put no sauce on and it has turned up covered in mayo that I am allergic to I called the shop and spoke to a girl who made the sandwich and she claimed she never put sauce on it but I am sat looking at the sauce on my sandwich she never even apologised or tried to sympathise with me and had the cheek to tell me if I want the right food I should reorder and pay again for it and she won’t put sauce on this time

Hey it's Subway, so you know what you are going to get. This branch gets busy during the Uni term time but the staff are great at working In a friendly and efficient way even if the queue is busy. I had the Tuna Kahuna sub melt, and really like this selection where they have put together the combos - excellent flavour/ingredient choices without having to agonise over what to have. Of course if you have a personal combo - that can be done too.

Didn't come on the right bread, Was also wrong sauces and extras on and I also did not get 2 of my items. I will not be using this subway again and recommend that others don't either!

Took about 30 minutes for the food, and the food was absolutely freezing when eating it.

Didn't mark the orders with what sub they were and when I called back the lady was VERY RUDE! I asked for a manager and apparently the manager wasn't in. Are you supposed to bite into it to know what it is. Ridiculous service!!!!

quiet today. thought service will be inadequate, but felt comfortable and was served in a good way. tuna sub AMAZING today, never have had it like this before.

The worse subway joint I have ever visited. Each time I go there, there staff members act and serve in a rude way. They are not nice with moody faces all the time. Every single day.

Been going here for 2 or so years and my best advice is avoid at 12 noon because they are jam packed and staff cannot keep up. Food goes cold, service is well below average (to be expected) and there's not enough seats. It's a typical subway with below average service but a decent sandwich at the end of it. What more is there to say?

AVOID!! Every time I have ordered from here, my order has been incorrect. They miss out items entirely even though they charge for it. The bread they use seems to be soggy, they do not know how to package orders.

Some stuff not good but everything else is okay i guess

Popped here the other day, reminiscent of the good old study days, used to come here with friends often. The Subway itself was good as usual, enjoyed a beefy Italian B.M.T! However disappointed in the branches decision to start taking phone orders whilst already struggling to serve their own customer base. The amount of students in the area means that you’ll have to wait a while before getting served, and even whilst being served your sub is being made simultaneously with others, this greatly reduces the customer satisfaction as now the toasted sub you requested is a not quite the temperature. I appreciate the staff at this branch immensely, as in long queues I do not know if they they can even get a moment to breathe.

Omg I was shocked that subway opened later. I ordered hot chocolote, was not even done properly. I found hair in my subway . Dont order ever again!!!! The lady didnt even smile,or say sorry for opening late. How would you like it when you found hair in your food ?

A nice place to have a quick lunch break between classes, situated just across Bradford university. Great and quick service.

First time at subway since pandemic and Great food as always, but I do find their menu boards a little confusing. Does a sub include salad or not, price at checkout was not what I was expecting

Terrible! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO HERE DURING THE LUNCH RUSH!! Staff are doing there best but clearly cannot handle bundles of online/phone-in orders at the same time as in-store customers. Waiting times upto 30 mins between 12-2pm. Food can get cold while waiting for salad and payment. Cross-contamination of food is also a problem at this chain. Staff rarely ask if you want your receipt, so unable to give feedback and no apologies for the wait.

Visited this branch at 5.15pm on a weekday, there were no customers here nor a queue. I asked the short man for a chicken teriyaki salad and he refused to heat up the chicken saying that they are about to close. He expected me to happily have it cold. It was 5.15pm and you only heat the microwave oven for 30 seconds. Lazy staff. I left and thankfully Great Horton Road doesn't disappoint in food options so took my custom elsewhere and even paid less money for my healthy meal. Subway is a big scam where they delude people into thinking their food is healthy but in reality if everyone did research, they would see that Subway has highly processed foods and been exposed many times by the media. Follow the money!

So I was walking to subway and when I entered I was extremely surprised. The floor is really clean like I’ve never seen it so clean at a subway. I tried the food and it was ok but I think it was because of the tuna sandwich. I hate tuna so that’s on my part but I’d rate the food a 8-9/10.

The employees are welcoming & the food is great, there is plenty of seating and nice atmosphere too. At Lunchtime the queue does get long and you have to wait a while to get served but the food is still fresh and prices are reasonable! 👍

Do not order via Just Eat, they do not have a system in place to view the full order. They just receive a basic receipt and then decide on what to send. They don't have access to your full order and details. I called the shop to check why my order was different and they didn't care they just blamed Just Eat for not telling them the full order. I had ordered Gluten Free bread and they gave me heart Italian which is not GF as they said that is standard for the sandwich! I've waited an hour for a sandwich I can't eat and the restaurant just told me to call just eat and hung up the phone.

Not the 1st time dissapointed in this Subway, when they already reduce ingridients u can pick, when you order pickles for your sub they will put 1 piece of pickle in your footlong...

Witnessed the "sandwich" artist sneeze over a foot long they were making...their snot went on the bread, they tore a bit of...minutes later the oblivious customer was chomping away...disgusting. With current covid issues I will avoid this place, the workers are chinese students and a southasian midget, the dwarf is shorter than the counter and always gets your order wrong. More risk here than Wuhan.

got a realy shock how nice the sandwich was form here been to uther ones and they went in the bin NOTthis time i realy liked it plenty of fillin so clen nice staf has well been about 5 times sins so i think say it all the salad is fresh tastey the chikin and meat are lovely

A credit to the Subway chain. The food is fresh, the shopspace clean and airy, and the staff courteous.

Great service. Staff are generally hygienic and if you have a gluten allergy/intolerance they are willing to change their gloves. Recently, they have added a gluten free bread on their menu, which is pre-made and cut, it is nice, soft and delicious. As it is pre-cut you won’t get cross-contamination that way, however you might get a slight cross-contamination when they’re adding the vegatable filling. As the vegetables may have a minuscule amount when they’re continuously dipping their hands in and out of it into the “glutenous” bread. Overall no complaints and a happy stomach!

They changed the eggs for breakfast there now runny and not very nice

Always a good place to go for lunch. Friendly staff, good food, what else to expect from a subways.

Tasty and healthy, I personally love it. It's a shame that it is quite expensive for a sandwich, but I guess it's fine as it is.

Halaal subway and discount schemes. Best spot for healthy food.

I’m guessing all Subways the same- so not a criticism of this place alone. Ordered a steak and cheese sandwich and chose some salad. When the salad is the thing you can taste and precious little else it’s a poor sandwich. The steak tasted of nothing. The cheese bland. Got the sweetcorn and cucumber flavours! I’ve tried once. Won’t again.

Nothing hits the spot like a subway breakfast sub. I love the poached eggs. No one else offers them. MacDonalds eggs taste plastic. Greggs only beats their bacon as Gregg's is nice and crispy bacon but they're omelette isn't the same as a poached egg and they're bread roll not as nice as the variety of subs Subway offer.

Fairly busy Subway considering its proximity to the Uni. Has a decent amount of seating, a good queueing area and decent staff. Typically great grub one would expect from Subway!

Large subway mainly used by students from nearby university.

Nothing special to write home about. It is the festive period so very quiet and students have gone home as they have broken up. Very quiet.

The whole place stinks. Literally. it honestly just stinks of urine everywhere. I bought a sub but couldn't stomach it cause the smell was so pungent and was also coming from the sub. Binned straight away and never going to this franchise.

This is my local subway been visiting for months. On the whole it's great. Friendly staff, clean, good atmosphere and nice food. However lately it has gone off the boil a bit. On two occasions, I have called in and the toaster hasn't been turned on in time for customers therefore the staff had to use the microwave to warm up the sub. Also I tried to go in after work at around 20:30pm and the gentleman working said they're closed despite the opening hours being until 22:00pm. They may be for good reasoning though so I can't complain much. I've been to many different subways bad and good and this is definitely the latter.

I absolutely love subway, the rolls are amazing, it's fool proof every time. I had the big beef melt which was lovely, it had a great meaty flavour with melted cheese and a good crunch to the salad. Subway it good because you can personalise your roll a lot!! Really recommend Subway to all, and easy place for lunch.

Good service. I ordered a sub with chorizo and barbecue burnt ends. My colleagues ordered different fillings for their subs. The coffee was awful.

came in for my regular order and say a new asian lad there.He was very polite and advised me and made me try something new which i instantly loved. Thumbs up 2 him.

Staff are friendly and it's clean. There's often a big queue as it is next to the University but the staff get through the queue pretty quickly

As usual the service was good and as the sandwiches are prepared in front of you exactly to your liking you are guaranteed enjoying it.

On the contrary to what people have been saying about the service, I've had bad experience with the staff.. They're not rude, just not interested. They seemed more interested I'm talking to each other rather than making conversation with me as a customer. The food is nice, but no nicer than any other subway so I'd rather go elsewhere.

Service from staff always awesome and helpful. Food always nice and the queue is never too long. Very regular here and would recommend

They don't differentiate between vegetarians and meat eaters. They use the same gloves for putting meat on the sub for the person before and then even though you tell them your vegetarian they don't bother changing gloves instead they keep the same ones on and let you enjoy your vegetarian sub with bits of meat inside. They should put the cheese seperate from the meats otherwise.

Had the £3 meal deal, which was very good. Had choice of bread and fillings. Able to park right outside on Blue Badge which was very good.
