Subway in Newcastle upon Tyne

was missing a Diet Pepsi and and packed of walkers cheese and onion crisps food was cold when got here and two of the sandwiches tasted a bit weird when eat

Driver was canny as food exactly how I asked for it and spicy south west sauce blows ya lips off but unreal

Sandwiches looked rushed were missing sauces and extras the waffle fries and nacho chickens were cold and soggy was a disapointing meal

Absolute joke asked for just sauce on the meatballs and it came with everything on then the delivery time kept changing and getting longer

Waste of time picking what you want you don’t get it always missing items food not prepared how you ask WILL NOT Oder again

We ordered 4 meals each with soda, chips and biscuits, but the 4 biscuits were not in the order.

The order did not arrive, it has not been delivered and I waited over 2 hours for it. Would like a refund please!!!

The cheese was missing from both of the subs and I’d say the cheese was one of the main fillings!

hash browns were stone cold . waffle fries were soft and in pieces barely any recognisable shape resembling a waffle fry and top that off were cold

Amazing food! Everything was nice and fresh, everything came with my order too! Staff were nice aswell :)

Sandwiches were fine, exactly what I ordered, however the nachos weren’t the correct chips and there was hardly any cheese on. Could have done with some more and spread out more evenly!

The food was freezing , when I’ve asked for toasted and it wasn’t even toasted. Didn’t taste nice and didn’t put right stuff on very disappointe.

Bread was soggy and not toasted like asked, sandwich had so much mayo it was oozing out the side so all the fillings were falling out and just tasted stale

Nachos arrived just Doritos and a few jalapeños on no sauce no cheese. Missing cookie from meal deal too. Dorito chicken bites came with ketchup and not salsa

Discusting order was an hour late! Food freezing cold We got some cookies as a snack to and the cookies were all soggy like something had been spilt all over them The full lot went in the bin wouldnt even give them 1 star

Ordered a meal. Drink, sandwich, nachos, cookie and 2 dips. Only got the sandwich and 1 dip... great waste of £14

Ordered from here 3 times, food has always been delicious HOWEVER they constantly miss out items in my order 3 times they've done this and they don't even attempt to call to let me know or at least replace the missing item, pathetic.

My girlfriend (who is allergic to cheese) ordered a chicken sweetcorn and mayonnaise footling sandwich and they completely messed her order up they give her cheese in it they give her a white chocolate cookie when she ordered double chocolate and to make that worse they give her a quarter of a double chocolate cookie and then had the cheek to tell us to come in and get the right sandwich at nine o clock at night never order from here unless you want disappointment and poisoned.

absolutely ridiculous gave us the completely wrong order. we recieved someone else’s order and even that order itself was wrong. called the store said they couldn’t do anything about it and said to call just eat instead. i had to call over 12 times after they hung up on my twice. spent over 25 pound and didn’t recieve one of our items.

This has to be one of the worst Subways ever. The foot long sandwich wasn't even cut. The nachos had next to no cheese on so the crips just got completely burnt by the oven. The sauce for the side wasn't delivered and the drinks were warmer than last Sunday. Come on man.

Food lukewarm waited about 6 years and there was only 2 people Infront.

The food is awful here. Placed an order, neither sandwich was cut in half, there was no sauce on one of them and the other was soggy and looked like it had been dropped. Shocking order that won't make me return

Food was ok, slightly cold to touch. Multiple customisation items not added, so paid extra for no reason. Then extras such as dips with items not included. Wouldn’t bother ordering again, as it seems to be a gamble of whether you’ll get what you ordered.

Did not receive the caramel sauce for the churros. The red onion was not nice.

Absolutely shocking ! I will never order again. The sandwich was done by some very unskilled person , definitely not worth even £2 ! ordered three cookies for my kid and the cookies were in 20 pieces! I took them back to the shop and they tried to blame the driver , no! the driver was careful with the food as I walked put to collect. Then I pointed at the cookies on their counter and they were in exact condition so they gat busted ! They acted like they didn't know ! Shocking ! who pays them?

The driver called me and yelled I'm outside! I then walked out my door and he is asking me if this is my order even when he saw me in the door with the door number. wait till I meet you outside !

Just wanted to state, that Ben is definitely the No 1 staff member at this store. I'm a long time customer, and have always found Ben's service to be excellent, to the extent that Ben is the only person I'm prepared to have serve me! Ben is fast, professional, friendly and courteous and in general, a fantastic worker. In short, Ben is a credit to your store, and I strongly recommend that you give this person either a pay rise, a promotion, or preferably BOTH! X

These sandwiches are getting smaller not value for money anymore

Server had no interest in his job, the way he spoke to us was very poor. There was very little care for the food nothing was cut!!

People who say perfection doesn’t exist have clearly never tried a sandwich from chilli road subway. The delectable, mouthwatering flavours blended together to create what I could only describe as, well, perfection. Ingredient proportions were without fault, creating indescribable beauty. MUST try.

UPDATE 23.02.24: Ordered the same butties with the same brew with the same Dad served by the same top gaffer having not returned since my last review's date (I'd not seen Dad since then either). The coffee was way better!! We also added a box of spud wedges which filled the gap some more. For just over £11 it was worth the revisit. UPDATE 30.08.23: I returned today after quite some months, this time for an ultra rare Subway butty and coffee with Dad. My choice of scran was simple enough (ham, pepperoni/salami and red onion on brown bread) but it absolutely hit the spot. Friendly service too from the long serving Gaffer 👍 I haven't smashed in a sandwich at any Subway joint for several years, however when a certain popular Newcastle based coffee chain is shut, or appears overly busy then I'll pop into my substitute local branch for a takeout coffee. For less wedge then my aforementioned regular coffee stop, this place delivers an arguably better brew. Certainly more consistent in flavour quality at any rate. Subway probably doesn't want you just to buy a coffee, however I'm more than satisfied with it's offerings, visiting as a 'drinks only' punter. Why no five star? The brew is occasionally warm, not as hot as one would reasonably expect.

We ordered food for a team building meeting. One person didn't get their food and we were confused as to which sandwich was vegan as it was not labelled.

Ordered a sub and a sub melt, the sub was the completely wrong order and the restaurant said to just complain on just eat because they are meant to shut in 10 minutes despite being told that the customer doesn’t eat bacon. Won’t be ordering from this restaurant again, too many mistakes on too many orders.

Friday 16th February 2024. The bloke serving customers tonight is absolutely diabolical!! Refused me sub because he said he'd no steak left but when pointed out to him that it was in the display and I could clearly see it he just nonchalantly ignored me! Then got my salad completely wrong and wasn't listening to me at all! Total joke!!!

I thought with being months since I last ordered a subway I'd give it another go. Maybe they have new staff and could actually get an order right now? Nope. Absolutely done with this place.

For some reason there was extra ingredients on my food, I ordered a Tuna Sub-Melt and for some reason there was sweetcorn on there even though it’s not written in the description of the ingredients and there was giant purple pepper looking things that haven’t been on the orders I’ve gotten before, if you’re going to change up subs, do it to your own, not unwilling customers please

Good food, delivered quickly ONLY issue is someone keeps putting nut cookie in same bag as others and there is nut allergic in home.

Ordered two footlong sandwgiches and they comes as six inch and the third sandwgich had no sauce or cheese as requested wont be going back

They charged me things that I haven't asked, I spend more than I spend normally and one bread wasn't good and asked one tuna but they applied a little tuna, basically I spend too much for a little food

The food was cold, and delivery was late. I had pre-odered it, so I didn't need to worry about it not arriving on time, and yet it still came late.

Sandwiches were all wrong and stale. All of the food including the sides were freezing cold. Wrong desserts put into bag, pop was missing. Food was 30 minutes late and stuff member was rude on the phone.

Overall a horrible experience. The sandwiches weren't even edible and the service was awful. Do not visit this one.

I come in every so often and near enough every time I’m been served by Ben and always makes it a pleasure to come in the food always tastes good and whilst not many seats it’s still a canny little shop.

A tired Subway location. Also, apparently the new set menu means you can't have the salad you want without paying extra - what happened to 'have it your way'?! Staff are doing their best in the circumstances and deserve recognition for that, but I won't be back.

Sandwich was burnt. I had asked for it toasted but it was burnt. Bread was hard and not edible. Salad was tiny and some ingredients missing. Have ordered previously and didn’t have this issue, disappointed in the food quality
