Subway in Belfast

My elderly mother visited this restaurant. Before her order she had asked if the toilets were available and she was told yes. While having her meal, a child who was type 1 diabetic called in and was refused entry to the toilets. After my mother finished her meal, she then went to go to the bathroom to be greeted rudely by a male member of staff who said that the toilet was closed. She explained that she was told that they were open and he replied “that was then and this is now” she informed me of his rude approach and felt embarrassed and now having to seek a toilet elsewhere in the town. I’d like to make you aware of the importance of incontinence, those with diabetes urinate more frequently and also ladies of an age may present bladder problems. This could be a case of an individual with a stoma bag which may have burst or need changing. To refuse anyone the use of a toilet while a shop is still open and also a paying customer is disgusting.

The Sandwich Artist called Matthew is honestly the best employee I have see in any subway! He goes out of his way to help out and provide spectacular customer service. He really goes the extra mile! After getting a vegan chicken wrap in tesco I was very disappointed by it but I came into Subway and matthew recommended the "TLC" wrap - fantastic name ahaha He made me feel very welcome and I will definitely be coming back in future!! This the best subway I have ever been to due to staff like Matthew

It may sound like hyperbole but the title of this review says it all. A well stocked, well run version of this franchise. Ryan is an asset to Subway.

Girl very rude by rolling her eyes and throwing the ingredients in to the roll , will never go back to that subway , also toasted it with the mayonnaise already on it .

have eaten here a few times but stopped due to the tables being really grimy and having to clear and wipe them before sitting down to ear. havent returned and dont intend to

Called in at 1700 on a Monday. Place was still open and serving food. I bought my son his usual 12inch sub meal. I needed to use the bathroom. It was upstairs and apparently closed. I was told to use some other business' toilet across the street. Ironic since they have a 'toilets for customer use only' sign!! They refused to open the toilet as the manager stated that it was bleached and washed down. Disgrace that a sit in restaurant serving food closes their toilet at 1600, despite staying open till 1800. It is also against restaurant rules. So beware when entering here with young kids. I have also complained to the Citizens Advice and the FSA.

Just your typical subway really, but handy for a quick lunch to go. Staff were pretty typical for subway when I was there too. No complaints.

The bins are always full and never emptied! the staff are always rude, the toilets are always disgusting and never any toilet roll, why these idiots still in jobs is beyond me?

Well positioned in the city centre opposite the back doors of Boots. Staff are always pretty professional and quick as well. A safe bet if you're in a hurry.

Clean premises ,friendly staff, fresh produce great for quick meal. Everything you would expect from a Subway large tasty full crusty bread baguettes.

Incredibly poor service, had no idea what the guy was saying to me, and he looked very unhappy to be there. Incredibly rude member of staff.

Last time I called in here I felt disgusted by the state of the place. It was very grubby and chaotic with the bins overflowing and tables littered with the detritus left behind by people who were either too lazy to dispose of their own rubbish or were put off by the fact the bins were already overflowing. This used to be a lot better than it is now and I don't know whether it's because they are in such a busy location that they feel they are guaranteed passing trade anyway and don't feel the need to try or if the staff just need a refresher course but whatever it is they need to address the issues here ..or lose customers by the score.

We werden snel en goed geholpen. Broodje smaakte prima. Medewerkers waren vriendelijk. Echter waren de tafeltjes niet goed schoon. Jammer en lastig dat de toiletten boven zijn met een lange trap.

Usually Subway is a a safe bet for lunch because you know exactly what you are going to get. This particular Subway was the fastest I have experienced but I think they may have adjusted the timers on their oven too as my sub was supposed to be heated with melted cheese and it had barely had heat on it before it whisked back out again and the process continued. I am all for efficiency but not if it affects the quality of the product. Don't think I would go back again.
