Oh my, what a lovely time. We went for afternoon tea, met at the door, and then quickly shown to our table. The waitress explained what we would be having for our afternoon tea and offered us a tea or coffee. What arrived was amazing, very nicely presented and far too much for us, however we were told if we couldn't manage everything it would be boxed up for us to take home. Everything tasted delicious and we really enjoyed the experience. I would 100% recommend.

Had lunch after the Tour and a wander around the beautiful gardens. Everything freshly made and the staff couldn't have been nicer despite it being a busy lunch service. Very attentive and they even sang happy birthday to my husband

Up,out and about on a beautiful but cold January morning, my twin brother and I jumped the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre, we dropped into Strawberry Fields Cafe ,been here before, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this cafe ,interior is light and airy, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe, its a great cafe to chill out in. We ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served steaming hot, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. Coffee served in here was spot on, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve in this busy and popular cafe . We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Strawberry Fields Cafe is easy to locate along Mathew Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 8am till 10pm. Friday & Saturday, 8am till midnight. Sunday, 8am till 10pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Upon entering we received a dirty look off a server, we then sat down and when my partner went to order the server didn’t know what drink she was serving and just said “I press the button and syrup comes out” the food arrived and the scrambled eggs we’re obviously microwaved and bland, the bacon was greasy, the sausage was over cooked and dry, only good part of the meal was the hash browns and the cup of tea, such a shame as it’s in a prime location just lacks the vitals

Just awful. Expensive for what we got. A very long wait and they messed up the order. ‘Minstrel’ soup was on the menu (minestrone). The cheese and ham toastie looked like it had been sat on, the soup was tasteless and the accompanying bread stale. Memorable for being so poor.

Tomamos un café y unas tartas en la cafetería, los chicos que nos atendieron fueron muy simpaticos y risueños. El café muy rico y las tartas exquisitas.

Went for breakfast, choice of full english which included the buffet continental for less than £10 which included juice coffee tea. Or the continental for £6 which is what I chose and thoroughly enjoyed. Cereals, pastries, yoghurt and fruit. Pastry lovely and fresh and creamy yoghurt. Good value. Friendly staff.

Centrally located café in a youth hostel, next to Mathew Street and close to Bold Street and Liverpool Central. Open until 10pm. Staff were super friendly and helpful, answering any questions and offering lots of suggestions. Really lovely atmosphere, with humorous signs and a vibrant edge.

Visited yesterday the 24 June 2021. Arrived at 3.34pm. I'm afraid not a good experience. We are regular visitors. So we were a bit upset At the member of staff who served us . This blonde lady was not friendly at all . It was like we were a inconvenience. All the staff were cleaning up. This is not a problem. As I've said we are regular visitors. My granddaughter is a very big Beatles fan. Hence the regular visits. We spent £14.50. Tea cakes etc .This money helps to pay the wage bill. Something that obviously escapes .That member of staff. My twin brother Stephen and I visited Strawberry Fields Cafe and what a great time we had. A lovely cosy interior, lovely, eclectic decor and furnishings including a superb looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe ,a very cool place indeed. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff, after giving our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitising our hands we ordered a flat white coffee each and a cake, coffee was served in excellent condition being steaming hot, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve, the cake was also delicious, it was so good planning out the day ahead while enjoying coffee and cakes. We really enjoyed our coffee's and cafe's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time. Strawberry Fields Cafe is easy to locate on Mathew's Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 8am till 9pm. Till at least mid February all pubs, bars and restaurants in the UK are closed due to the 3rd lockdown .

Every time I come into this cafe the price for the same order is always different. The women who runs it seems to just charge you what she decides on the day. It’s overpriced and the food isn’t all that. On one occasion there was actually a hair in my tuna sandwich which she tried to justify saying it was a fluff fibre?? When I insisted it was a hair (because it was) the women then turned rude towards me. I didn’t have time to wait for another sandwich and requested my money back to which she threw it on the counter and sighed at me!! :/ nothing like good customer service Ay.. all in all I no longer work in the area and thankfully i will not be visiting here again :)

Absolutely made up with this place with its beautiful fairy lights and some of the the best food me and my wife have had this year, I booked it for our wedding anniversary and it made my wife's day. I couldn't give a 5 star review as one of the sandwiches was stale. I didn't say anything at the time to any staff or my wife as I didn't want to embarrass myself but the next day I asked my wife if she thought the bread on the sandwiches was stale and she said yeah she noticed it was hard but apart from that Absolutely flawless.

This restaurant is in the building where my grandparents lived when I was young! The staff were very friendly and let us look around. My family members stayed for lunch but I had to leave so only managed to take a cup of tea.
