Great food, polite, courteous and very helpful staff!!

Lovely Italian restaurant. Great service and amazing food!

Best Italian restaurant! I can't recommend enough , food is incredibly delicious and fresh, reasonable prices, the whole place is so clean and tidy and the staff is very welcoming and helpful! It's my favourite place in the town!

I cannot fault the food or the service... Absolutely amazing and even the Gluten free options are tasty...xx

Used Deliveroo for a first ever time and chose pizzas from Storico. Absolutely fabulous pizza with excellent delivery time and arrived nice and hot. Highly recommend and will come to restaurant too.

Best pizza I've had for a long while. Fantastic pizza base properly cooked to give a lovely texture and taste. The toppings were fresh and very tasty. Great service and good value. Highly recommended. They have a great Gluten Free choice of all pizzas and pasta.

Having tried to book this restaurant several times and it was busy tonight managed to get a table I have to say it was very nice and well worth a visit Great service and great food

Good is still very good although the prices have gone up a lot since our last visit and the quality has not improved equally, service is a bit poor, we booked a table which didn't show on their list but when we arrived there was no one in the whole restaurant and even the whole time we were there no one entered but they made us fee as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to use a "spare table" overall decent experience, no atmosphere at all as we were rh only ones in there and the service was very minimal but food was ok. Not sure i'd go again though.

What a brilliant place! Our two pizzas were delicious, as was the tiramisu! Staff were excellent, we will definitely be back when we are in Ipswich again

I had heard good things about Storico, but had not been before, so I was taking a bit of a risk when organising dinner for a group of 24 friends. It was great from start to finish. The guys were really friendly and helpful both throughout the booking and on the night. The food was excellent. Very tasty and well-presented pasta and pizza dishes, along with the desserts that some people managed to make space for! Thank you for a lovely evening. I will pass the recommendation on and definitely will be returning.

Lovely food, horrendous service. Felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Staff just chatting and staring, not very friendly. Took forever to be offered dessert menu. Such a shame as heard alot of good things.

An absolute diamond in the rough that is Ipswich. Genuinely delicious food - although we both ordered pizzas, food on other tables looked fresh and appetising. I was very impressed to see a restaurant even open on a Tuesday, let alone so busy. It's great to see an independent restaurant doing so well and maintaining such high standards. If you haven't already, go and check them out; it will likely become a regular haunt once you have tried it once.

I’ve had takeaway pizza from here twice and both times it’s been absolutely incredible! Genuinely some of the best pizza I’ve ever had - and I’ve had a lot! Can’t really comment on service or atmosphere as I’ve never eaten in, but the pizzas are out of this world! 10/10

One of the best Italian restaurants in Ipswich, great food with great service. Attentive staff even when it’s busy & the atmosphere is always nice too :) Will always recommend the charcuterie board as the pizza base bread that comes with it is so nice !!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The ambience is very relaxed and unpretentious, and the service is friendly and attentive to the right degree, an ideal restaurant for a family meal. The food was fresh and superb, with good portions and great value for money, and there is good choice on the menu for vegetarians. The two pizzas we had (1. Mixed Vegetarian Pizza, 2. Pizza Bocconcini) were probably the highlight of our meal - fresh in taste, well fermented and flavoursome dough, and well baked. We would happily return for a meal in the future.

Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time!

Visited here for the first time with my fiance.Food lovely and very tasty just not enough pasta for me.Service very good but we were the only ones in there.Limited menu we thought.

Ordered the 10 hour cooked ragu ! Laughable to call this a ragu as was just undercooked chewy mince with some undercooked tomatoes! Not a ragu in any sense of the word and the ravioli was like rubber and had a nasty smell! And the garlic bread tasted like coal as it was so burnt and overcooked! If you served any of this food to an Italian they would throw it back at you! Nothing authentic about this place! And pasta was clearly not homemade as stated! Would never order from here again.

Always great. Our go to for Pizza. We enjoy eating in and takeaway. Splendid food and lovely people.

amazing! Took my father in law our for dinner, took a chance on what looked like a delightful restaurant and we were not disappointed! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere cosy and the food was scrumptious. I couldn't;t finish mine but I can assure you that I prolonged my dining experience by having the rest of my pizza for lunch the next day! Absolutely fantastic!

Food and service was excellent. Loved the music. I had creamy chicken and pepper with rigatoni pasta, and it was fantastic. There was plenty of chicken, and the staff happily cooked it without mushrooms for me. The pasta was slightly al dente which is perfect for me. Very filling and tasty meal. I also treated myself pistachio mousse which was fab.

Another amazing meal, didn’t fancy pasta tonight so had a fabulous salad so fresh and salmon cooked to perfection!!!

I've heard good things about Storico and I wasn't disappointed with the food. I really enjoyed my authentic pizza and it was great to be cooked in a wood fired oven, it gives a better taste in my opinion. Even better that they offer a gluten free pizza base option for my allergy partner. The other menu option is pasta. Prices are good. It's a small restaurant, booking ahead advised. My opinion is that the lighting could have been brighter.

This was my first time here, for Mothers day. The meal was absolutely amazing, service was amazing too, they kept a eye on you ylto make sure that you have everything you want. Take a doggy bag home to as too much for mum on portion size, good too no food waste.

This place is my go to. My favourite dining pizza place, all the food is fresh and have the most amazing flavours, freshly squeezed orange juice for freshness. Would highly recommend in every way.

Very nice Italian restaurant I've been wanting to try for a while. Popped in on the off chance they for a Charlie no chums table for one before the evening football kick off (I was quite early -5.30pm - and think booking is essential if you are dining from 6 onwards). The welcome was very friendly and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced too. Will defo go back with my family. My 4 stars on the atmosphere is simply a reflection of the time and not many people eating yet. It was lovely and chilled and I'm sure it would be equally nice when full of people.

Amazing pizza, probs the best in Ipswich. Delicious sourdough crust, toppings were top quality, the mushroom truffle pizza was addictive. We’ll be back again and again for both eat in and delivery (plus they have a reasonable delivery fee!). Even the pup was a bit obsessed and stayed by the pizza boxes until we put them away.

Delicious pizzas. The spicy burrata was my favourite. Sourdough crust is amazing on these. Only thing we weren't a fan of were the desserts (cheesecake and tiramisu) as they tasted ordered in rather than freshly made but will just stick to starters/mains next time!

I had dinner at the Storico with a friend while we visited Ipswich, so I'm not a regular, but if I lived in Ipswich, I certainly would be. The food was excellent, as were the staff, and the atmosphere was lovely too. The quality of the ingredients were absolutely clear as the food was simply delicious. I was tempted to try something new, and enjoyed what was an unforgettable main course to which many future Italian main courses will be compared .... so do try the Truffle pasta ..... you won;t be disappointed :-)

Love eating here. Food is so fresh and generous. But sometimes the service can be tiresome....so slow, almost to the point of feeling invisible. But the food makes up for it so we keep coming back!! 😋

Fresh ingredient, romantic vibes and best the pizza ever! So Me and my lovely friend Decided to have a last-minute sit down dinner. I have been here before with previous friends, and I can say that both times! The food was outstanding, and the service is the best. They were kind enough to seat us for an hour As we turned up last minute. It was a full house! I definitely recommend to always book here! I was served by Eray and another lady. They were amazing! The Italian pizza was the closest I’d had to the one in Venice years ago!

Really friendly waiting staff, we went on new year’s eve and the service was quick. Everyone enjoyed their food, you can see the pizza being cooked in the kitchen from the table. Good prices and atmosphere, very clean. Would definitely come again :)

Great restaurant. I had pasta and my friend pizza, both were delicious. Pasta cooked to perfection and arrabbiata sauce was the best I’ve tasted in a long time! We both had the limoncello dessert, just gorgeous. Service was friendly and quick, great price, I would highly recommend.

I met some work friends here for an evening out and throughly enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. The pizza's were generous -I had the Florentina and a generous portion of tiramisu for dessert. Eating out has got quite expensive over the last year, but I thought that my meal was good value at £19.

Wonderful experience thankyou for looking after us so well. A plain, but beautifully balanced pizza, made complete with fresh basil, and a side of fresh olives. Good service, relaxed, yet busy atmosphere, we felt at home. A perfect start to an evening, thank you..

Very tasty pizza and pasta, even if you have food allergies. I really enjoyed the charcoal pizza with vegan cheese. One of us had pizza for the first time because there was a gluten-free option.

I had a lovely avocado salad and spinach pasta with the salmon. As I finished my salad I was regretting not getting a pizza because the fragrances of the pizzas being served and cooked had my mouth watering. All regrets went away when my main was served. I will be going back to get more of their yummy food.

Really nice looking restaurant run by friendly and welcoming staff. Nice choices on the menu and all reasonably priced. Generous portions so we couldn't manage dessert! I can thoroughly recommend the beef ragu! Extremely tasty and I liked having the opportunity to choose which pasta I had with my meal. We'll be back!

Love the food and the pasta is delicious. It feels like quite an intimate restaurant as it's quite small but it's very homely and everything from the plates to the decorations is inviting. Definitely recommend a meal here.

Really lovely food with generous portion sizes. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The decor however is very confusing with an eclectic mix/mash of everything. You could even think you were in a Thai restaurant when visiting the toilets, having walked through some galactic, mind tripping corridor to get there!!

This place is great for a casual evening out with friends. We've been here a couple of times now and the pizzas are really good and because the place is quite small it is always full and has a great atmosphere without being too loud. Would recommend as one of the better places in Ipswich to eat out with friends.

I am very picky about my pizza and this place is one of the best pizza places I've had the pleasure to visit. I've visited this place a bunch of times, including trying the takeaway. The service is great and food is served fast, the pizza never disappoints, but there's more delish things on the menu worth trying. The take away is QUICK and you get your food within minutes of ordering. It's piping hot so if you wrap it well there's no problem transporting it home before it gets cold. The people are always lovely, even when the place is busy, as it's tends to be because it's so great. I would recommend booking on any day as it's not a huge place and it's very popular.

This place is easily the best Italian in town. The food is outstanding and extremely good value for money. We had a great night and will definitely be back again soon.

We visit Storico regularly and have done since our first visit, over a year ago. I cannot recommend Storico more. The food is consistently delicious, staff are attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Prices are also very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Whenever I eat out in Ipswich, I’ll always choose Storico as I know I’ll love it and won’t be disappointed. Make sure to book in advance as the restaurant is usually (and rightfully so!) very busy.

We have have walked past the restaurant many times and always thought about trying it. However, first red flag, they had no Lasagne, they said that they had sold out the day before, clearly not freshly home made, must be brought in! Second red flag was warm moretti, not nice drinking warm lager with your pizza! Third red flag, garlic bread was burnt, leaving a nasty taste! Fourth red flag pizza came out badly burnt on crust, not edible, plus the tomato topping tasted like it was from a jar of passata, very sharp, not nice. Fifth red flag, very dry meatballs with a pasta sauce that tasted as though it was from a cheap jar of supermarket pasta sauce. Tried to complain, but that was not heard! Will not be returning, suggest you carry on walking by as we used to and not be tempted to go in!

The food was disappointing, its not seasoned Gordon Ramsey would be embarrassed. Olives say mixed on the menu but you only get one type. Fish and seafood (very chewy) overcooked, what a waste - probably frozen too. Food on menu uses too much butter and cream, not traditional for Italian food. Traditional Italian food uses olive oil, tomato based sauces and most importantly seasoning.

I've only ever ordered online from Storico but their food has always been sublime. Super fresh pasta and garlic bread to die for. I'm definitely a repeat customer. The only time they delivered my food a little late too, they sent some cake with an apology note. Proper classy business.

First visit with daughter and grandsons and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The pizzas were first class and the grandsons pizzas and pasta was also nice. The only reason I have given a four star is because I haven't tried any other dishes of which I very much intend to go back again. Well done 👏 Dom

Nice Italian restaurant with friendly staff and fast service and good food. Only complaint is the restaurant itself is a bit dark inside depending on where you are sat so seeing your food isn't 100%! Would visit again !

Have been here several times and it's one of the best Italian restaurants I've had the pleasure to visit. I usually go for the napoli pizza as is my favourite and hard to find, but had the pasta a la salmon and it was so delicious. Mussels starter was so good we asked for extra bread to sop up the sauce. Coconut cake was unexpectedly delicious with what seemed like unsweetened coconut allowing the vanilla ice cream to shine. Very delicious and nice atmosphere. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Visited this restaurant last night on our ‘date night”! Very good and attentive service and the food was sooo good! Enjoyed the sharing charcuterie board to start with then chargrilled pizza with a bottle of red wine. Couldn’t eat it all so boxed it and took the rest home! Will defo go back
