I always come back here every time I visit London. Great coffee and delicious food, plus it’s a lovely light-filled oasis in the heart of London, tucked away just enough that it’s usually calm and chilled. Great seating outside too, I’ve sat outside all through the seasons and the vibes are always spot on.

I’ve been here before and previously had a good latte. Today, I ordered an iced latte which was extremely milky and hardly tasted like any coffee. There also wasn’t enough ice so my coffee was very warm and the ice melted very quickly. After tasting the coffee and being pretty disappointed, I went to ask if I could have an extra shot added in (extra 50p). I was told by the barista that this wasn’t possible and I’d have to order a single espresso to add into my latte. I tried to kindly indicate the coffee I had received was pretty poor but again said I had to get a single espresso - which cost £3.30!! Shocking really and disappointed. My coffee ended up costing almost £7 :(

Fantastic place, great art on the walls, a comfortable space with skylights, good furniture without being fussy or precious, great coffee, competent service. Good spot on a quiet street if the weather is fine. Marked it down because the toilets, whilst above average, didn't reach the same stellar standards as the rest.

Store Street Espresso is a charming coffee shop offering Square Mile Coffee and an array of delicious treats, including croissants, cakes, toasties, avocado on toast, salads, and filo pastries or sausage rolls. The interiors are contemporary and relaxing, with walls adorned with art, a skylight, and hanging green plants, creating a laid-back atmosphere. Situated near central London universities, it attracts a young intellectual crowd, as well as office workers and local residents. There are also a few tables and chairs on the pavement, perfect for enjoying the sunshine.

Visited Store Street Espresso with my friend Aysun and had a delightful experience. We ordered a latte and a flat white, both of which were exceptionally well-prepared—truly some of the best coffee we've had! We also shared a muffin that was just as pleasing. The atmosphere of the cafe added to the enjoyment of our visit. Most importantly, spending the day there with Aysun made everything feel even more special. Highly recommend this spot for a great cup and a pleasant time!

Store Street Espresso has great coffee (and tea!). I especially love the attention they pay to creating a good batch brew and I think their cold brew is some of the best in London. The food is unfortunately mediocre, but I appreciate they try to cater to a range of dietary restrictions so people can find something to eat there regardless of their dietary preferences/restrictions. The interior is nice, too, and they exhibit art on the walls. My main problem with this place is that it is ALWAYS crowded. I used to love studying here, but I don't, because there are just too many people. The queue is massive too, so despite the fact that it is near the library where I do my research, I hardly even get takeaway from there anymore. Store Street's coffee is certainly worth trying-- just don't expect to sit there and know you'll have ot stand in line for awhile!

I was so excited to find another spot near UCL to get some work done, but unfortunately the WiFi signal is simply not strong enough to support several people on laptops (which seems to be a frequent occurrence) The flat white & service were really lovely, despite the cafe being quite busy the whole time I was here— about 1h. I ended up leaving earlier than planned as the WiFi simply would not work, no matter what I tried. The staff said it was probably because “too many people are using it” but in my opinion if you offer WiFi, it should be strong enough to support the occupancy of your store. In short— Lovely for coffee, but don’t come if you’re reliant on WiFi to get work done!

Love the atmosphere in this cafe. There’s so much natural sunlight, perfect for sitting alone doing work or hanging out. We ordered the cold brew which was light and refreshing with a hint of cocoa note, it was a little more sour/fruity than what I am used to, this is definitely more of a personal preference, but it’s something to note if you’re not into the fruity kind of flavour. Overall, would definitely come back.

I try to support more independent coffee shops rather than Costa or Starbucks whenever possible and found Store Street Espresso. Inside it’s nice and light. The coffee itself was okay, a bit nutty and different. The coffee is just unbelievably small for the amount you pay. £3.50 for a cappuccino and it was the size of an espresso shot. It reminded me of the babycino tiny drinks people buy for their children. They should advertise the size of the drinks on their menu so that people know they’ll be getting only 30ml of coffee. In this case I wish I’d gone to costa as it would have been the same price for their largest drink.

Large latte was made incorrectly small (remade). Avocado on toast was not only not even a little bit toasted, but also has pickles on it. Who puts pickles on avocado toast? Mind you, the menu does not care to even advertise this- only “avocado on toast”. Avocado was served with brown and black oxidized bits instead of being removed. If the quality were going to be this bad, I’d have preferred they’d at least made it quicker, especially given it was 3PM and not a morning or lunch rush and it was minutes after my incorrectly and correctly remade lattes were ready, made by a different employee. Really disappointing waste of £12. Will not be dining again. Only giving 2 stars because they support local artists and remade the coffee and offered to remove the pickles (though not to remake the dish).

Made a reservation for Sunday brunch, the entrance is supposed to be wheelchair accessible however there is still a step, the corner you need to turn at the entrance is very tight and as it was peak time it was impossible for my friend in a wheelchair to manoeuvre, so we asked to swap for a table outside which the staff kindly did so (although a different staff member who didn’t realise we had a reservation already taken care of barked at us to get in the queue, which was a bit unpleasant. I clarified we had already been seated and they backed off). Food was great, service was slow but to be expected at that time. Overall grateful to the members of staff who did accommodate us but neither of us would say the entrance is truly wheelchair friendly (and there’s no accessible toilet but we knew this from the website). Just a note for any future customers who may have issue with steps and stairs.

Truly amazing place with some of the very best coffee I've ever had. However, in most of my (many) visits there's just been too much noise to be able to properly enjoy the vibes and the products. The really surprising thing is that most of the noise is coming from the baristas themselves (lots is shouting, whistling, singing...). Still amazing coffee and pastries though! It's just that this little cafe could have been so much more.
