Stoned Pizza in North Devon

Awful! Dripping with oil! Tasteless! Do NOT waste your money! Smells great, staff are lovely... food was a disappointment!

Unfortunately I would not recommend :( pizza was raw in the middle and burnt on the outside? The margarita was only half the size?

Excellent pizzas. Quick friendly service. Beef brisket, and the summer veggie were both great: plenty of toppings on well-cooked tasty bases. Thoroughly recommended.

Would give zero if I could. Messed us about. Very long wait, served others before us, when we got the pizzas, 3 out of 4 of them were wrong but the guy just said that’s we asked for and ignored us. 2 hours later, one of us has been vomiting and can only be the pizza. They are obviously popular judging by how many of their boxes are strewn about (why don’t they clean them up?) but I don’t know why. Crap service, crap food, crap attitude. Don’t bother.

Ordered two margherita pizzas, average price for a take away van, good quality, devoured by four hungry teenagers. Cooked to order , not a long wait.

Shocking inedible pizza, uncooked in the middle and torched base. Showed the staff and they couldn’t care less. Avoid.

The pepperoni pizza and cheesy garlic bread were really nice and good portion sizes. Despite being in a big group we all got our food quickly and the staff were friendly

Stoned was everything I expected and more, great, reasonably priced sourdough pizzas with tasty toppings. We had a margarita & a ham and pineapple. Toppings were generous but well cooked. I’m struggling to understand the negative reviews. Thank you!!

Woolacombe stoned pizza van.... Ordered 2 pizzas. 1 meat feast and 1 pepperoni. Both pizzas had hairs that had been cooked within the pizzas. We could of dealt with 1 hair but there was multiple...didn't feel like eating the rest of it after pulling hair out of my teeth... messaged the company to let them know but totally ignored , no response at all....avoid at all costs.

We had four pizzas from the van at Croyde Bay which we ate on the beach in the early evening sunshine. The pizzas were well prepared and delicious and it was the highlight of the week on the beach. I can’t associate with some of these negative reviews because I only have praise. The van is very popular so be prepared to wait. Well worth a visit and highly recommended

Was unfortunate to have to grimace through another incredibly undercooked pizza from these frauds once again with friends on holiday, with one of them falling ill due to the raw dough. They were as disgusted as I was at the level of quality of the pizza even without taking into account the price of it, scandalous! How on earth can an organisation like The National Trust be associated with a company like this. Street food at its upmost worst.

I totally recommend this place, the staff were polite, professional and friendly, the pizza was delicious and ready in 7 minutes. I had the meat feast and it was really nice, my kinds shared a pepperoni and said it was one of the best they had.

Quality of the pizzas are fantastic, some of the best pizza we have had When the sun was out, the vibe on the whole field was really nice. Yes, the wait times are a little longer than you might like but we just found it worth the wait Staff were friendly and never stopped to their credit

Haven’t even reached to order yet but there is a is huge cue and not enough staff. It’s one pizza order out, one pizza order in. I really hope the pizza is worth it! Maybe more staff is the answer or a different system.

Terrible pizza in woolacombe,obviously very undertrained staff, raw on top ,burnt underneath pizza. Could of been so much better ,the flavours were there, the knack wasnt. Its not hard to cook pizza, hot oven , good dough ,great ingredients. We had a too hot oven, soggy dough and raw ingredients. Train your staff properly

Worst pizza Ever ! Undercooked and burned on the outside. Don’t order from them. It’s young people in a van that doesn’t care about you.

We used the Stoned pizza van at Woolacombe. This is not pizza. More like a flat bread with toppings. Mine had pesto which contained lumps of raw garlic, not acceptable. Not worth the 50 minute wait. Really disappointing, good marketing but awful pizza.

May I save you some time ordering pizza in Woolacombe if this is a first visit? Don’t go to Stoned Pizza. The base was soggy and uncooked, the topping was verging on nonexistent and dry. We had to try to cook the pizza slices properly in our Airbnb oven. It’s so easy to make a decent pizza and get a great reputation. These guys just don’t seem to care. Presumably because they appear to be the only show in town. That can’t be true. There has to be somewhere better than this. Avoid.

Couldn’t get enough of these pizzas when we visited Croyde last year so made a bee line for the Stoned van as soon as we arrived in August. Alas they seem to have changed their dough recipe snd the once light and crispy base is now chewy and doughy and tastes a little like they’ve used wholemeal flour. We were really disappointed as had high expectations and the pizzas aren’t cheap when you consider you need one per person. Please Stoned change your recipe back ready for next year?

Looks the part but certainly does not live up to it, save yourself some money and buy a £2 frozen pizza and cook it properly. The amount they charge is appalling for what it is.
