Ali's Alcove in North Devon

Absolutely disgusting. The pizza was undercooked and incredibly greasy and the doner meat literally had grease pouring out of the box as we took it out of the bag. I have never tasted food so vile!

Had a lukewarm kebab that appeared to have been thrown from a distance into the box. I did ask for sauce but they put so much I. That it was soggy and in edible. Will definitely never go there again. I’m guessing the 5 star reviews are like the false ones on Amazon !

Ordered a Chicken pizza and believe me I could hardly find a few small Chicken pieces. It was more margarita pizza than a Chicken Special. 😂 The Cheese Chips was a very small portion for 3:50£, seriously 😒.

Absolutely disgusting! The meat and salad were served on top of the pitta bread making it completely soggy, therefore inedible. The salad was bland. The jalopeno was lame. The chilli sauce was nothing like other kebab takeaways. The burger was dry. I would imagine there would be more moisture in a flip flop!! A complete waste of money.

Ordered this evening, really cheap compared to other takeaways and better tasting, value for money and portion size is incredible. Fast delivery and unlike most delivery drives they came straight to our flat door at the top to deliver that made it easier due to having a baby. Highly recommended and looking forward ordering again 👌

Both the kebab and nachos were cold. Looked like they’d been thrown around the car on route and the driver couldn’t wait to leave after knocking on the door. Not a good service from start to finish. Threw half the meal away as the cheese had congealed on the nachos and the pitta in the kebab was chewy! Not going back, which is a shame as I want to support local business!!!

Extra Chicken requested was missing on pizza, lots of mushroom on one pizza and less on the other one. Vegetable that was used didn’t look fresh specially mushrooms.

Food might have been nice if it had been warm. Chilli sauce on the kebab was watery and just heat without any flavour.

Cheesy chips could have been alot bigger and the chicken burger was good and the Jimmy twitcher was very good but the meat was very hard to chew so maybe and bit more tender next time

Afraid to say not very tasty and the chicken wasn't cooked enough. Sauce was very watery and the salad was mostly small pieces you could pick up. Ended up throwing most of it away. Chips were ok though

Awful…jemmy twitcher was nothing but a box of onions. Horrible

I can't remember how early it was, but it was good as i was hungry! The food had beautiful flavours, but i was totally overwhelmed at the size of the portions! I almost felt guilty as it was big enough for a family of 4. This didnot detract from how tasty it was! The price was good value as well. Would have it again and highly recommend it.

We've just had a jemmy twitcher and spicy chips and absolutely loved it. A great combination of meats and flavours and very reasonable in price. The pizzas that were going out looked very tempting too but it'll be hard not to chose a JT again next time. Highly recommended and we will back soon for sure. Tom Jalapenos

I just fancied fish and chips but on a Sunday most chip shops are closed ,not this place its brilliant !!!! I have a lot of delivery food and Ali's Alcove without doubt is the best for quality and speed of delivery so i ordered kebab and extra chips as well lol well done !!!

A disgrace to Turkish cuisine. How you can brand yourself as ‘Turkish’ is beyond me. You clearly strive for the cheapest food you can cook and easiest way to prepare. The mixed ‘kebob’ was inedible and frankly disgusting. Wouldn’t order again even if I was starving. If your target market is drunk white people at 4am then fine but don’t false advertise online.

Ordered a chicken and lamb kebab and we got chicken shisch instead of dinner and the lamb donner was black in colour it had been sat for a fair old while disgusting won’t be eating from here again

Although it was ok, I was disappointed that the chicken in the kebab is no longer shish and is chicken doner meat now instead. The quality of this is lower and the price is the same. There were lots of lumps of fat which wasn’t so pleasant. Please bring the shish back to the wraps! It has put me off a bit and I order here frequently

Some chips overdone, some with a spicy coating, some plain. It was like it was left over from the day before. Nachos were chilli doritos with the same brand of hot salsa thrown over. Really disappointed in a takeaway that's usually quite nice. What with the cost of living rising, I thought I would treat us, i wish I hadn't. What a waste of money.
