Stewart Tower Dairy in Perth & Kinross

Being really picky on food I saw the fish chowder advertised but hesitated ...if it's not done well it can be horrible. OMG this luscious chowder arrived creamy perfection with great chunks of fish and some asparagus spears as extra through it. The taste consistency and presentation were sublime ....wayyyyy above my expectations.

We had received a gift of afternoon tea vouchers and our visit was amazing. We started with little cups of soup, followed by a two tier platter of savoury and sweet items. Everything was lovely, but the little steak pies and the little cheese flans were exceptional. Plenty of tea and coffee with our food. Finished off with a scoop of their delicious ice cream. Highly recommend.

Very impressed with the food. Really enjoyed the icecream (and when someone called Tortolano says the ice cream is good then it IS good). Service was quick and friendly. Met the goats who made my cheese. If they had been a bit more friendly and came over to let us pet them then the excellent visit would have been a perfect visit.

We keep coming back. Another lovely lunch. Excellent value for money, everything is super fresh, marvellous staff, fantastic ice-cream and great coffee 😀

When we arrived we realised we were a bit early for lunch so we said to the girl we would have a drink and then order lunch. However after she had given us our drinks, she brought out our meal. Pizza for 1 grandson and breakfast roll, sausage for the other grandson. My daughter and myself had a bowl of soup which was delicious. We then had a warm pear and ginger sponge with toffee sauce and ice cream. The other three had ice cream sundaes. Staff were very pleasant and food was great. Looking forward to returning

Myself and a friend went here for lunch as I'd been to this restaurant before and wanted my friend to see how good it was. Unfortunately it was not a good experience as we arrived at 1 15pm to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our order then the food took 45 minutes in all to be delivered. The restaurant wasnt even busy and the staff were milling around. We wont be back

New chef standards have dropped went for breakfast daughter had pancakes that were not cooked properly and we're too thick bacon was precooked which made it overcook,we won't be back,we were regular customers as well!

Good food in a super setting. Lovely to watch the pigs and goats while we enjoyed our lunch. Not too busy and well priced fare.

I visited the cafe and shop, it was very busy and had great service. Good menu with lots of yummy selections and even more on the specials board. Had such a nice lunch and my friends enjoyed theirs. Really wanted a cake or ice cream but unfortunately was too full!! Lovely shop with lots of things to choose from and lots of parking. Also cute farm animals in pens outside and great farm done right. Well worth a visit!!

My second visit this year and every bit as good. Seeing the magnificent dairy herd outside then sampling the magnificent ice cream it produces is an experience in itself. But this gem offers so much more besides - impressive home cooking/cakes etc, really imaginative menu. So well presented. Well worth turning off the A9 for.

This is a lovely little place. The café is tiny and if you can get a seat, well worth it. Deep quiches and stacked burgers. Service was slow but the staff were constantly running around and doing their best. We visited on a Saturday so did t expect it to be quiet! There was a queue constantly for ice creams too!

I have been here many times, but on this occassion i was very disappointed. The food quality has gone down significantly - the 2 kids pizzas i got were no more than some uncooked dough, tomato paste out of a jar and some grated orange cheddar - very poor especially given the price for them. The service was definatley lacking, staff not knowing what they were doing, one older waitress was exceptionally rude and abrupt in manner. The cost for what we got was also shockingly expensive - over £100 for lunch. The ice cream is ok, but there are better options elsewhere.

We’d been looking forward to visiting Stewart Tower Dairy for ice cream but when we arrived and read the food menu we decided to have lunch first. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. What we didn’t like was the lack of apology when we had to send back to sandwich we had ordered. It came with mustard on it even though we had specifically ordered it without. Neither the female member of staff I approached about the issue nor the male member of staff who brought the correct sandwich apologised for the mistake. After lunch, we bought ice cream to eat outside and some to take home and a third member of staff was brusque with us, not quite to the point of rudeness but very close. It’s a pity because we had been looking forward to visiting for ages.

Super steak burger and excellent homemade quiche. Farm/ gift shop was small but provided everything I required namely, worktop saver, brandy sauce, calamari, paella seasoning, homemade pizza, mint choc chip ice cream and butternut squash!

Staff were friendly; and the ice cream tasted good. But was disappointed after looking at website and then visiting actual place. Both the shop and the cafe were very small. Outside seating area at back was very run down.
