Small branch of Stephens the bakers but good choice available. All the usual pies and bridies available along with a good selection of filled rolls, cakes and rolls etc

Usually my favourite bakery. Last few times I’ve got a filled roll, they have put more onion on than the chicken filling. The tiniest smear of Mexican chicken. Very disappointing.

We were in town shopping, had our lunch out and wanted something quick for the evening meal - what better than Stephens steak bridies to heat up at home! They were excellent as always and well worth the price and the queue to buy them!

The bakery is on the high street not far from other bakeries so popped in to do a comparison. Don't serve the same stuff but got some sausage rolls and cream cakes to eat later. Friendly staff and tasty food, great to see local bakeries still on the high street.

Popped in here to buy some rolls whilst in town - the queue was out of the door as usual! Stephens the Bakers is a very well known local bakery and their products are always very good!

The working lunch you provided was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees. The selection of sandwiches and cakes went down well with a lovely addition of sausage rolls and pizza. A really good variety with all tastes catered for. I will certainly recommend yellow for future working lunches.

Previously it had more of a pub feel which the large bar still holds on to. Table tops are a bit more utilitarian but the menu suggests high designs which it doesn’t quite deliver. Large portion of tasty starters but over priced and slightly over cooked steak with fish and chips where the batter on one side was over and the other side slightly under.

Tasty.... My friend and I visited here fir the 1st time. Very pleasant surroundings, equally pleasant staff. We sat through the back which was very nice. The coffee was really nice but the Rhubarb Loaf.....well!! It was amazing! I'll definitely be going again

We had the full breakfast and I can honesty say it was amazing. The cafe was spotless, the staff were very friendly and the price of the breakfast was great value for the size

Went for lunch but the place was closed. No sign at the end of the road to say so. It looks as if it could be closed for quite a while yet. Very disappointing. Signs to say closed and for how long at the end of the road would be helpful.
