Steamroom Coffeehouse in North Norfolk

I organised a day out on the broads for my partners birthday, after booking the boat, I was recommended Vic @ The Steam Room to arrange a picnic basket. Well what a recommendation that was. Vic was very helpful over the phone organising it all and explaining the numerous choices we could have. On the day, he was very friendly and swiftly prepared our feast and provided everything we had ordered for our day ahead. Homemade sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls (may I state some of the best I’ve ever had), fresh fruit, fresh donuts, crisps and finally some cold drinks. All within a loaned picnic basket to keep cool. 10/10 service, 10/10 quality of food. If you’re wanting food for your day out, or just a spot of lunch, here’s the place you should visit.

Cute little place, new business, and very friendly owners & staff. Coffee was 10/10, lovely smooth latte. Hard to find good coffee these days!! Girlfriend had a vanilla milkshake and that was awesome too. Highly recommend.

Nothing too much trouble. Vic makes everything fresh - no pre-prepared stuff here. Wonderful croissants and waffles, and the best coffee in Wroxham (& Hoveton). Great river views from the terrace.

The waffles are number one and the coffee ☕is number one and so clean ice cream is very nice . This cafe is the best in wroxham in my opinion without a doubt.

Visited for coffee and snack, couldn't be more hospitable and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble and went out of his way to get what we asked for, will definitely recommend anyone to visit this place, Vic was a top man .

Myself and two other friends visited on the weekend. We were not disappointed. Had delicious fresh juice, hot drinks and homemade waffles with lovely fruit, chocolate and ice cream. We sat by the water on a comfortable sofa with a view of the river. Would recommend eat in or take out. We will be back !

Vic is the best man to go to for waffles and ice cream we are yet too try the breakfast but has the waffles and coffee plus the ice-cream we know its going to be fantastic thanks Vic your the best.... We were heading next door for fish and chips when we were surprised to find this new coffee bar. The owner is expert and enthusiastic about his coffees and it shows. We had superb macchiatos and, what's more, the price was reasonable, even though I'd happily have paid more for that quality. Thoroughly recommended.

For a small establishment the Steamroom puts a lot of it’s competitors in the shadows. A very welcoming and friendly place, excellent coffee, excellent waffles. Great location to watch the boats. My boys loved it.

Staff are happy and chatty, with great service. Waffles were top notch, our boys loved the ice cream topping and the coffee is superb. We sat out the back in the outdoor area over looking the river watching the boats. Definitely worth a visit.

The scones were stunning, lots of fresh fruit with the waffles, friendliest staff. Shaded from the heat, right by the River Bure in Wroxham. Definitely worth a visit!

This is one of those special little places you wanna come back to again and again. The service is outstanding, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My daughter gets her special treatment when we visit for waffles and she loves it. Highly recommend...

Absolutely loved our visit to The Steamroom, really warm welcome from the owner, great with our little girl helping her select toppings for her tasty waffle, water provided for the pooch too. The coffee is the best in Wroxham and it’s in a great location.
