Myself and my partner attended today for a bottomless brunch and Milly was great. She was so friendly and attentive :) we will definetely be back

This pub used to have at least 6 real ales at any time, now there are only 3 real ales on, both over £5 and not very nice. No price list displayed and the barman thought it was real fun to see how loud he could smash the bottles he was throwing in the bin. Burger and chips £14 !! Me and a group of friends have been using this pub for a number of years now, but I don't think we'll bother again.

Was a funeral wake. Beautiful location. Excellent service. Awesome food.

Great value & taste! Burger, chips and a pint for £9, what's not to like. And more TVs than John Lewis! Welcoming and friendly team...great start to the weekend.

Highly recommend the bottomless brunch here! The staff are friendly, the food is great and the bottomless is incredible! The service can sometimes be very slow when it is busy but the staff always recognise when the service is slower than usual and they make up for this. Highly recommend!

A complete disaster - avoid Bottomless Brunch, especially during events e.g. Six Nations. This review is to support the waiting staff who were simply overwhelmed with booking and walk-ins. We arrived 10 minutes early for our ‘Icons Brunch’ booking and were seated promptly. Our friendly waitress acknowledged we were ‘her 4pm’ and she’d be back to take our drinks order. After 15 minutes, we’d had no drinks offered, and so I found and spoke to another waitress. We were assured someone would be over soon. At the 20 minute mark (totalling 30mins for us since arrival), we decided to forget the idea of a bottomless brunch as it was clear the staff couldn’t cope with the demand and our experience would be below expectation. On catching another member of staff who happened to be walking past and informing her of this, she simply agreed with us, that they couldn’t keep up and had too many bookings to handle. At this point we were extremely hungry and thought we’d just order some food anyway, since we were there. On attempting to use the table service QR code, there are no numbers on the tables to be able to use this service option! On flagging a member of staff down to ask for our table number, they said there is a long delay on food. At this point we left the pub, went home and ordered a takeaway. This was an extremely disappointing experience with the revamped Station pub. Won’t be recommending or returning anytime soon. It’s such a shame as The Station pub has such potential!

The game was well covered today and the bar service was great 👍

It has recently been refurbished, which has improved the overall look inside. There were at least two televisions that had a sports channel on. A large outside area with some seating covered, and I believe there is also a TV there too. The food was nice, and there was a decent selection of beers and cocktails on offer. I would recommend the bottomless brunch, which is worth the money, as long as you're not slow at drinking.

Freshly refurbished, same nice place as before just a bit newer! Sunday afternoon so not overly busy!

DO NOT GO HERE Attended on Christmas Eve, payed £10 for entry to not be let up to the balcony area even though I payed for entry to the whole area? I then proceeded to watch multiple people go up to the balcony area, including the only friend I was with, and when I asked to be let up with her the female blonde bodyguard said she wasn’t letting anyone else up even though I had waited an hour? Doesn’t really make sense really, I wouldn’t waste my time going to the station again. The only staff I met with were incredibly rude and when I asked to make a formal complaint was dismissed? Safe to say I wasn’t impressed by my experience! Would rate 0 stars if that was an option

Food cool and ale poor. Not what we expected. We won't be visiting again.

Great service and food. The atmosphere was helped by Villa winning. The rather chilly real ale was the only slight downside of the visit.

decent pub by the train station but a pint of neck oil at 7 quid was a bit pricey ,I work in north london and it's no more expensive down there

We went for food midday on Saturday with our dog, really friendly staff, food was really nice and a good price. Second time we have eaten there and both times it has been top notch! Would recommend.

Visited this pub many times over the years for a drink. Went for a bottomless brunch at the weekend and was extremely disappointed at the service. Party of 5 out to celebrate a birthday. Told at the start that if we become too disruptive we will “have to drink some water.” Another bottomless brunch party behind us were extremely loud and at no point did staff intervene. Staff rarely came over to ask if we wanted our drinks topped up. Had to go to a lot of effort to get someone’s attention. Completely understand that they are busy on a Saturday, but being ignored by the manager three times isn’t what you expect. Younger members of staff looking after us seemed lovely and were clearly trying their best. Came to the end of our brunch and wanted to settle up and order drinks in the bar. Left waiting to be served for half a hour. Manager ignored us several times when when we tried to get someone’s attention. We had no drinks and were keen to move to the bar and order more. Eventually came over and then forgot about our bill. For the same money you can go elsewhere for a bottomless brunch and much better service.

Popped in for a pint whilst waiting for a train. Had a nose around, as not been here before, the girl who served me said it had just been refurbished - look great and can imagine the garden is banging in the summer. Saw there was a Hawaiian pizza on the menu so had to stay and have one, with another pint for good measure as it was on offer (why not!). Cannot fault this place - brilliant experience, will be back when I'm next in the area.

First time for bottomless brunch, first hour was quite slow with the manager serving after saying he didn’t want us to have too many drinks (2 drinks in the first hour of a 2 hour brunch) and was very slow service, talking at the bar and not attentive. However, the other staff I think their names were Niamh and Josh kept coming over to us, having a laugh and a chat as well as keeping the drinks flowing. Really amazing service from them can’t recommend the brunch enough if you’re served by these staff! 10/10 xx

After travelling in from work in the city centre, I popped in to the Station pub at 3.30pm for a pint of some food. First time I've been to this pub and I must say it will more than likely be my last. My self and who had already been waiting 5 min to be served finally we all got served. I was served by a young lady and ordered a pint of Oil Neck PA, the interior time from her serving me and me paying a was watched like a hark by a male member of staff in his mid to late 30s white male with beard with his arms folded standing in the archway between the two bars. Not very welcoming at all so I drank my very expensive pint that coast me as much as it would in the city at a stagaing £7.60 total rip off and it was flat. Didn't stay for food. Decor was very nice staff need extra training on creating visitors

Take the time to find and visit this excellent pub. It's out of the way between the side entrance to the station and a pay-and-display car park. The small frontage hides a larger than expected pub with a large partially covered beer garden. The service is fast and friendly, while the pub has a great ambience. I didn't try the latest menu but did look at what is available - A wide range of food at reasonable prices. I'm looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

Been to a lot of local bottomless’s but the station has by far been the best! Served by Martyn who was amazing, always made sure our drinks were topped up and the food was fab! Will definitely be back!

The food platter was absolutely delicious—full of flavors and definitely worth a thumbs up! However, I was very disappointed with the cocktail I ordered, a raspberry cooler. It didn’t even have a hint of vodka, and the taste was lacking. I expected much better, and it was frustrating that there was no customer service support to address this issue. The bartender should explain why the drink was so underwhelming. Overall, great food but poor drink quality and service.

I enjoyed a drink in this pub which could have scored higher but for the vapers and loud music. Tv screens on as well. Not suitable for a romantic meet. A great mix of people of different ages. Outdoor seating under canvas.

We came into The Station at 12pm and ordered food, we were still sat there at 1:15 pm waiting for food. We asked what the hold up was for, and Alex said that the food hadn’t started cooking yet as they had a delivery. A group came in at the same time as us, and had their food within 20 minutes. Alex was very condescending and patronising, and acted very unprofessionally. She then started to insult us to another customer, and carried on laughing when we asked for a refund. The manager then came over and wasn’t any help, he just nodded his head and said it would be a further 30 minute wait. We had to ask for a refund and leave. Almost a 2 hour wait for food, and terrible service, as well as being patronised and spoken down to. Awful.

We arrived at The Station at mid-day, ordered our food, and waited. By 1:15 pm, our order still hadn’t arrived. When we asked about the delay, Alex told us the food hadn’t even started cooking yet due to a delivery issue. To make matters worse, a group that came in around the same time got their food within 20 minutes. Alex’s tone was dismissive and unprofessional—she even made negative comments about us to another customer and laughed when we requested a refund. The manager came over, but his only response was to nod and tell us it would be another 30 minutes. We ultimately asked for a refund and left. Almost two hours of waiting, poor service, and feeling disrespected. A truly disappointing experience.

What a place to be good food great beers

Usually we don't have a problem on a Friday dinner time - we ordered and food didn't arrive even after an hour, bearing in mind we all had to get back to the office. In the midst of waiting, the customer service from Alex was absolutely shocking - no consideration or compassion in relation to the wait, just a constant patronising response to everything. Then talking to other customers and people about us. Shocking service, staff members need to learn basic customer service.

We often use the station of a Friday lunchtime and have never had a problem. We work across the way and popped over today to grab some food. We were originally told it would be a half hour wait which is fine. After 50 minutes we asked how long it would be to be told by a very patronising "Alex" behind the bar that it wouldn't be long. After a further 20 minutes we left after a very patronising Alex proceeded to offer no help and was VERY RUDE. STAY AWAY

A great night for groups of friends, meet ups. The live music is amazing and the atmosphere is like no other around. Love jumping on the train home after drinks 🍸 🙌

Family meal, 14 of us crammed onto two tables barely room for 10 max. Some eating off laps because of this. Buritto bowl with beef was small portion with hardly any beef, really disappointed. One guy trying to bring meals out for 14 so inevitable wait to start eating and the last 3 meals really slow to arrive. Great pub for drinking and Sport but certainly wouldn’t recommend for a family meal.

I am appalled by the treatment my friend received at this bar. Despite being a person of colour and presenting three valid forms of ID, they were denied entry by the ginger bar man at the door. He unfairly claimed the IDs didn’t match their appearance. This blatant discrimination based on race is absolutely unacceptable. It’s disgraceful that in this day and age, such behaviour still exists. I urge everyone to think twice before supporting a place that condones such discriminatory practices.

As an old timer and life long bar tender said to me "If the bar staff are asking 'Who's next?'...you know you are in for a long wait." Unfortunately this place has an ongoing problem with decent staff. Nothing personal but the service here is absolutely atrocious and it has been like this for years. If there is a more than 10 people in the pub the bar staff become clueless. They just cannot multitask. You are more likely to get into an argument with other impatient punters trying to get a drink in a timely manner. Maybe it's a devious ploy to make sure nobody gets drunk - make it so painful and drawn out to get a drink that you just give up and go somewhere else. Well, it works.

8 of us went for a bottomless brunch for a friend’s 40th birthday on a wet and miserable bank hol afternoon. I believe we were served by Ellen, as well as others - staff could not have been more accommodating, they ensured the drinks were non-stop, kept them coming and offered complimentary drinks in addition to our 2 hour brunch and we didn’t feel rushed or pressured to leave the table even after our 2 slot had ended The food was delicious, usually food at other BB’s is sub standard but everyone’s meals were a good size and really tasty. Your staff are an asset, can’t thank them enough

Nice pub, not too far away from Sutton Town centre. A nice atmosphere and we went on a Monday evening, when it was much quieter. We'd definitely go again. Play some rock music though too!

We were here a group of 4 in may 2024 for the bottomless brunch. It was fantastic value much better than others as you didn’t need to upgrade to better cocktails they were sooo good. Big shout out to Mia and Naeve for there service fantastic ladies thank you. Food great also we will 100% be returning.

Recently moved to Sutton Coldfield, stumbled across this venue right next to the station. Amazing pub for sports and has a DJ on the weekends. The staff are super friendly here, so I will definitely be coming back!

Not what it was, beer is very expensive and it's full of kids with fake I.D. To top it off they make people queue up to get in a half empty pub! Update, improving and hopefully they can get back where they were before it became coke heaven for school kids.

Limited menu with Good Food, at a fair price, including Chicken Wings & Vegan Cauliflower Wings, which are excellent. Has live entertainment inside, & has a stage outside at the back. Wednesday nights has live entertainment, & Andy Bennett formerly of Ocean Colour Scene performs alternate Wednesday nights. Well worth a visit to watch Andy Bennett & a Bucket of Wings.

Incredible pint of Guinness. The best around by far. One for the Guinness lovers for sure! Atmosphere never fails to deliver either. Looking forward to the next visit!

We had the best time ever today! Thank you so much for making our day special! The food was unreal and I couldn’t eat it all I had a pizza and it was better than dominoes! And the waitress that was looking after us Niamh asked me if I wanted to take the rest of it home and she arranged that! She was so attentive to us and to the other people that were there to experience their day. We will definitely be coming back soon and Niamh needs to be recognised for her outstanding service! Had lunch here for the first time with friends, and enjoyed it. Was quite busy but it was Saturday afternoon so expected.

Dek and Charlotte are so so lovely, they looked after me when i got in a bit of a state. Genuinely the loveliest bouncers ever couldn’t recommend more.

The bouncers don’t like you to have a good time, despite having a DJ. They told us to calm down our singing which was very calm to begin with.. so do not come here if you are looking for a good time.
