Always good food, great choice and generous portions, I'm not sure if there has been a change in management the last year or so. Historically we had a few less takeaways which were lacking. But the last 18 months or so we have never been disappointed

We have used the station supper bar for many years, and on most occasions, general excellent quality & value for money, But recently there seems to have been a change in management and or owners. We have had 5 takeaways since the new menu and 4 of them have been disappointing. Starting with the basics, the rice which should be a key component has been a solid stodgy mass on the last 4 occasions either the boiled, fried or special, either its over cooked or not rinsed properly at the start it was almost inedable.. The light tasty crispy ribs of old, are now shocking lumps of fatty pork full of gristle and missing the flavour and for the Peking style they are missing the crispy coating, now they are just BBQ ribs with sauce poured over the top. But what have they done to the crispy beef, on the last two occasions the meat is so thin and non-existent that when cooked its just a tray of fried corn flour, that become a gritty mess in the mouth., but then others dishes like the ginger and spring onion was so fresh & tasty, there is obviously still some of the old magic in the kitchen. And they still don’t deliver ? in this day and age Finally, I don’t think there was much of a price increase with the new menu, but the portion sizes have certainly shrunk.

Love the salt and pepper ribs and the chow mein. Always generous portion and excellent service. The prawn toasts are very good and used actual prawns (which other restaurants don't).

This little take away MUST be the best in the area - Good quality ingredients [superb chicken!], careful and clever preparation and cooking and very good value. Recommend you try the S&S chicken [menu C16] - my favourite

Good place to grab a Chinese takeaway in Brough. Reasonable prices and food is pretty good. 1/4 Duck was great and you get a lot of it!

Having used another local Chinese previously we though we would try the Station Supper and you can really tell the difference, the food here is not too salty or greasy, it was cooked perfectly, the menu choice is very extensive, the service is friendly and the food is very tasty, so much so that we will be returning in the future.

My first choice Chinese takeaway any day of the week (except Monday as they are closed). Fantastic choice of dishes, always piping hot. The aromatic lamb is a favourite of mine. The only downside is they only accept CASH which can be a bit of a pain.

Station Supper is the best Chinese around! It's food is always great tasting, well cooked and hot when you get it home! The chips, fried rice and noodles are cooked to perfection and if you like Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls they are cooked just right here, not soggy and under cooked! Give it a go! Brilliant Chinese food!

We go here consistently, maybe once a month or every 6 weeks for a family treat. Usually lacking in flavour, but it's ok and local to us.

Just wanted a quick meal so popped to local takeaway. Great welcome and quick service but disappointing meal. Chicken with ginger and spring onions was a pile of chopped ordinary onions and huge chunks of ginger instead of fine slices and a few pieces of chicken. Ordinary fried rice was just rice mixed with loads of soy sauce, just a bowl of brown mess. Pancake roll was ok but no better than those available at Aldi. Not great.

We were staying in the area for a week and had a takeaway from Jack's. There was a good veggie choice on the menu, which included tofu / beancurd. The sauces were tasty. The main dish and rice portions were generous. Definitely recommend this place.

I never leave reviews but I had to leave one. I ordered a mixed starter for 2. Chicken chow mein. Beef satay some noodles., fried rice and chips. The starter was what I can only describe as poor. The prawn toast was really nice but the wonton looked as though it had been fried then refried 1 spring roll and 1 bbq rib which was drier than the Sahara desert. The rice was dry like it was yesterday's reheated, the noodles were rice noodles which were just watery. The chips must have been cooked the day before and just microwaved. Beef satay should be renamed beef vindaloo and the chow mein was dry. The only colour in the chow mein was the carrot which was raw. £40 wasted as most of it was inedible
