Station Road Chippy in Northumberland

This has to be a front as its never open and most the staff are rude, used to be such a good chippy

Some of my order was not delivered and this has happened a number of times through this takeaway

Best Chippy around. friendly staff when you collect food and the best mixed kebabs around. Couldn't even finnish kebab as it was that much. Chicken tikka was fresh big chunks of chicken and the kebab wasn't salty or greasy. it was just right 👌My only slight criticism would be.. the garlic sauce was lovely but for me it was not thick enough.. far too runny, it needs to be thicker. The chilli sauce was HOT 👌 Perfect Chips. 10/10 from me.

Chips weren’t great but the fish was brilliant. Had the small fish and it was massive and nicely cooked with crisp batter.

We waited over 1hour 45 minutes for it to eventually be delivered and the chips were raw inside what a disappointment

Pepperonny's pizza is the best of all. I like their potatoes and their service is the best I have ever seen.

kebab meat was cold. hardly any salad whatsoever. chips were full of scraggy ends. spam fritter was drowned in grease. would never order from here again took two hours to be delivered also. we live a mile from the takeaway

Delivery time was 35-45 mins when placing order. Have had to wait 1 hour 45 minutes. Shop didn’t answer the phone upon multiple times of calling them.

estimated time is always between 1hr 10 and 1 hr 30, you can never get through to place to ask where order is and can never work out when to order as you either get order far to early or right at the last minute which is far to late, it doesn't take 1 hr 30mins to cook a pizza

Ordered at 06:06pm. Didn’t arrive until 2 hours later. Pizza very greasy, luke warm, chips cold.. didn’t answer phone when I called twice. Wouldn’t go back if it was the only place open.

Disgusting burgers, with wet buns, soggy "salad", luke warm chips, waste of £20, went to bed hungry. won't be back in a hurry

Wasted £20 of my money on two burgers which were wet, flattened and inedible, chips were cold. I should have spent £20 on fresh ingredients and cooked at home, I can't justify spending two hours worth of wages on trash.

Extremely disappointed, waited more than 90mins when originally website said 50 minutes

Chips were like scabs and splinters, asked if i wanted salt, i got all the salt.

Food initially was due to arrive at 19:15 however the time changed to 19:30, we waited until 8 and contacted the shop through the app and was told it was on its way food arrived at 8:30 cold and soggy due to the long wait, won’t be ordering again

I would recommend this chip shop, when they say a large cod it is a large cod, and large chips the food is lovely, am disabled in a wheelchair and they knock and come in and hand it to me at my table and close the door on the way out, very polite and helpful and value for money, you can't get better than that.

Waited 2 hours for a delivery which is the longest we have had to wait for a delivery despite being regular customers. When it eventually arrived it was barley warm and undercooked as it made me and my partner unwell the next day.

Kebab was dry, kids wont eat it, waste of money. cheese burger has no salad, delivery driver never spoke just grumpy. Won't order again will find somewhere else

Rang the chip shop , told it would be another 5 minutes, it was another 10 minutes after this , expecting food to cooled with the time delay, but shocked it was still very hot, so feel it had not been long cooked

Ordered a large fish supper and kabab & chips & just a plain kabab, onion rings and side salad, everything was lovely just the chips could have been a little bit better. Apart from that will definitely be back :)

Food arrived in estimated time (1-1.5hrs) however I’ve never waited over and hour for food (which is what it took) Food was delivered by a tween, in battered boxes! And cold Probably from running down the street with his mates whilst throwing things at numerous neighbours windows Including mine! Tried to call the chippy directly,,,funnily enough no one picked up 🤷🏻‍♂️

Love the chips from here and the portions are great, like that you can put bbq base on pizza and kebab is always nicely cooked would highly recommend

It was a good portion of chips and the smokeys were nice, unfortunately our gravy had leaked a bit in the bag but that couldn't be helped and didn't effect the meal. Wouldn't order the peas again, they were a bit bland and runny, but that's just me being fussy but will definitely return as the service was fab, the food was fresh and not too greasy. Recommend this place just not the peas 🙂 great value for money too, 4 full tummys for £20. Thank you

Very tasty. Ordered a few things. Cod was bland & over cooked, didnt like it, but apart from that I was very happy with my order !

Best fish and chips I've had in a long while. The batter was crispy, chips were clearly freshly cooked and the price was better than reasonable. My only fault would be the Tartar sauce, it was too vinegary but they were sachets so I don't place blame on Fry Fare for that!

we have had a very good food every time we had a meal from them

I placed the order at half 7 and didn’t get my food until 20 past 9 and it was freezing cold and I had to make my children good

After informing them that the cheese garlic bread was dry last time with hardly any cheese it was delivered with plenty garlic and just the right amount of cheese. My sons demolished it. Hope its always like that. Everything was perfect 😁
