Not many places offer you ice water at their water station, I thought that was really thoughtful. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great (dogs are allowed as well). ❤️ Definitely coming back:)

I came in the other day to get my usual, when I was greeted by a very miserable, rude staff member behind the counter. It was very unpleasant, they had absolutely zero customer skills in which I find appalling. I will not be returning as I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed in this situation! It’s a shame this member of staff has ruined my experience at Abingdon Starbucks as all the other staff members I have interacted with on other occasions were welcoming.

Staff are very rude, Male manager does nothing to ensure they are kind to customers. Build a drive thru in this area of Abingdon and hire better staff who appear happy to work there. Costa for now.

I nipped in to buy a takeaway latte. The store is always clean. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The coffee, in my opinion, is my preferred go to.

Visited this cafe yesterday and it is a lovely place but seating could be more comfortable. Our table was wobbly so difficult if you've kids who have got drinks. Also, service was a bit slow and not cheerful staff. It was not busy otherwise I can understand that it can impact on service (although it shouldn't as it is a customer facing role). Anyhow, it was a good experience. May not visit again and try other cafés in the area.

Went in on New Year’s Day to pick up some coffee and a pup cup for the family. We forgot to order the pup cup so my boyfriend went back to ask for one to be met with even more rudeness from the two working, told how annoying we were as well as facing aggression when we originally ordered. They were then not calling out names or orders and when we did eventually get our order it was completely wrong

Had an interesting experience today. Staff were great as my drink was made with perfection and food was great. My only issue (and this is nothing to do with Starbucks themselves) was a customer who kind of tainted my experience. One might call her a Karen.. She was very entitled and extremely rude towards staff! Asked for extra cream in a very rude way and even allowed her dogs to go on the sofas and bark uncontrollably. At one point even said her dogs were cleaner than a staff member, absolutely shocking and disgusting behaviour! Genuinely shocked at how well the staff members handled it, so well done to you guys!! Will be back again for sure, just hope we won’t bump into that horrible individual again.

I was very disappointed with the attitude of the staff today and what’s more to later find out that it was the “manager” who treated us this way. My friend bought the coffees and paid, the girl didn’t ask if we have a Starbucks card to get the points so I asked if they could be added. I was told by the man (no badge so I’m not sure what his name is) that it was too late as my friend has already paid. So I asked if there is any other way of adding the points but instead of an apology I was met with an angry and dismissive no and a statement that it’s my job to say first that I have a Starbucks card. I was shocked how we were treated! Does Starbucks not teach Customer Service??

Nice ambience and decore but looks too empty. Range of food as compared to Costa next door is less. Cash NOT Accepted and NO Halal option. Already we have too many cafes in Abingdon therefore range of food, and acceptance of CASH is of paramount importance.

Manager losing it telling customers at counter and staff people quing not important ignore them. Putting barriers up on counter saying no more orders totally running scared. Yes busy but no more than a starbucks in the usa with the same amount ofpeople waiting and staff. 8 in the queue and 9 waiting for drinks. So we left very sad as I'm a starbucks fan. Yes the bun throw is on but most out side only a few ordering coffee. Much more Costa cups everywhere. Guess the owner of this franchise not bothered with how many they serve. Very sad to see. Training needed.

Consistently out of stock of items, dirty floors, and unfriendly service - for example, the unsmiling register attendant left me standing alone without an apology or eye contact for two minutes… I generally love Starbucks but this one is pretty poor.

What a soulless place! Firstly when we entered the shop it took a while to get engagement from the man on the tills, he wasn't exactly welcoming either. Then came the ordering experience, my wife tried to order some seasonal items off the menu, to be told they were discontinued (despite being on the digital menu), there wasn't even an apology or direction as to what was available. Later on the same man was on a laptop ignoring customers, if this is the face of Starbucks Abingdon then I cannot see people becoming repeat customers. Once the drinks were made they were place down with a little engagement. In the making of my Apple sour Frappucino it clearly was too thick after it came off the blender so more milk was added and this meant it only had a hint of flavouring. The other 3 drinks we ordered were also a little dissapointing and were pretty sloppy for Frappucino as they made all 3 together. I would recommend you avoid as we won't be returning!

It is Starbucks so you know what you are getting, but not all Starbucks are equal. I am not really going into Starbucks for great coffee, but I am going in for signature drinks like the summer frappuccinos, PSL and Christmas drinks which is, for me, what Starbucks is about now and the staff prepare these drinks well. In general, I have always found the staff to be friendly and courteous. They are the main reason I am writing this review as I felt this needed recognition.

I like it here, it's a Starbucks you know what they are like. Good as any other. One thing in here, it is so echoey inside I really struggle to hear the conversation I'm having. Don't know what you can do about it, hang some stuff on the wall??

I like to use this Starbucks, Manger and staff are always polite and helpful. The shop is bright clean and spacious. The food is always fresh and well presented and the drinks are very good and made to exactly how I like it .

Starbucks always has great coffee! This new addition to the centre of Abingdon is certainly something that I can get behind. Usually I would advocate local coffee shops but unfortunately their coffee in my opinion just isn't as good.

Absolutely disappointing. I have always been an Sturbucks fan since I worked for this franchise some years ago, however my visit to the new brand coffee shop recently opened in Abingdon has been absolutely disappointing. In first place, long time waiting in the queue to order, once I ordered, I asked to a person of the staff if somebody could help cleaning our table before we eat, as it had rests from the previous customers, but again, after long waiting I have to clean the table myself with hand sanitiser and some napkins. I was here with my daughter about one hour and didn’t see one person cleaning the tables. Finally. £4,95 for a extremely poor quality bacon roll (I’m attaching the photo). I don’t mind to pay when the place is nice and quality is good, but honestly I can get better for £1,50 just rounding the corner or other franchises (do not want to name brand) Next time I’ll chose the local coffee shops as usual. Not worth at all paying overpriced food and coffee in this franchise anymore, and specially because I do not feeling safe having food here. With so many good choices around, Sturbucks definitely has to upgrade the quality of its products and services.

We called in here as I’d never been and thought we’d try it out. We ordered two cheese scones with butter and two coffees and sat in the garden. Our very small scones arrived before the coffees, We thought as we buttered our not very cheesy cheese scones that the butter had a strange texture, the coffees were very small and not that hot. As we sat chattering I noticed on the butter wrapper, ‘use by 6/6/23’ The date of our visit being Monday 19th June!! My friend caught the attention of the waitress and told her we’d just eaten two weeks out of date butter, she just said ‘Oh sorry, I’ll tell the kitchen’ We sat for another 15 minutes half expecting maybe a further apology from the kitchen but nobody came near us, so we left having spent £12.30 on two small un-cheesy scones, stale butter and two small warm coffees. Obviously there won’t be a return visit.

We had previously visited this pub under its previous management where we had a great lunch. A little disappointed to find out the new management does not have a lunch menu anymore and there is only the main menu. Nevertheless we had stopped for lunch and committed ourselves. Food. Starters: We had a starters and a main. £9.50 for 6 pieces of calamari, and a smear of mushy pea on a plate, which in my opinion came straight out of a packet, and was an extortionate price for a disappointing plate of food. The other starter we opted for was chicken wings. For £8.50 we got 4 plain chicken wings drizzled with soy sauce and a scattering of sesame seeds, again not worth the money. Main course: the steak and ale pie was very good, home made a very tasty with plenty of veg and gravy. No complaints at all. However, the fish and chips was not so great. For £16 we were served a half decent bit of fish accompanied with 9 chunky chips and what was supposed to be mushy peas and tartare sauce. There was more tartare sauce than mushy peas but at least the lemon was chargrilled. Drinks: 1 x Diet Coke and a medium glass of wine which was very nice but at £10 a glass it should be. Service: it was quiet and we were served adequately. In summary, overpriced food and drinks. We usually do not mind spending good money on good food but unfortunately this is not the case here. A lunch time menu, as previously served, would help as other customers were also asking for sandwiches and lighter bites. It is a lovely pub in a lovely location.
