Poor coffee that tastes of ashtrays. Adverts for ugly sounding concoctions served up in plastic cups with bubble lids and drinking straws. Grim Pentonville do no pass go interior. People staring at screens, unable to engage with life outside this American tragedy of ugliness. Staff wishing they had studied harder. Barista-ing not being the life goal they were sold. Toilets are plain rank. Cold brew pumpkin spice. Nip in and use the bogs. Discorporate.

Yesterday, before evening, I was disgusted by the mannerism of the staff called Italia, as when I pointed out a fly within the pastry see through cabinet, I pointed out and requested to eradicate the fly, before it sits on the food, the person did not take any actions or was acknowledging of the fact and when explained that it is not nice to not do anything about it her response was well it is summer and it is okay, and this will be taken care of at the end of the day. Meanwhile the fly was still allowed to roam freely and contaminate, without any assurances given or actions taken. It is in fact not okay, and completely against the f s a regulations food hygiene. I strongly advise strict disciplinary actions to be taken against the staff and you make sure that this does not happen again, as a strict measure this will be reported to FSA to who carry out further investigation and audit of the site, and strict measures to be taken, even if the site needs to be closed down. Such attitude it's not welcoming in our society when it dangers the public health and lack of due diligence can have major consequences and it is our responsibility to put this right in the interest of the public.

I went to this Starbucks to order a drink like every regular customer, asking "can I have a large iced latte". The barista didn't hear me clearly and made me repeat that, which I did. He then tightened his face, and in the most serious, grave tone, he said: "No. You can't have that. NO." I FROZE. In that split second I thought what I did wrong. How did I make a previously friendly barista suddenly seem to hate me to the point of refusing to serve me? Was I rude? Was iced latte out of stock with a sign on it and I didn't notice? Did I make any stupid mistakes? Two seconds later, he told me that HE WAS JOKING, and carried on as if nothing had happened. I genuinely am confused and can't fathom the reason behind this interaction—I only ordered a drink like every other customer in line? Why did this barista pretend to refuse to serve me, had to dismissively and nonchalantly laugh after he'd made me FREEZE, and THEN had the GALL to act as if nothing had happened, asking me to pay with a machine in hand? Is it because I seem to be a young, "petite", "impressionable" woman, that making fun of / humiliating me is something that he thinks that he can get away with? In what universe does "pretending to refuse service to a racial and gender minority" funny? By the same lines of logic, I wonder whether he would hand in his notice to his superiors pretending he's quitting and THEN laugh it off as a joke and carry on as if nothing had happened, or make the same joke to a white 6'3 bodybuilder male customer. All that I'd say that it was completely unnecessary, uncalled for, patronising and unprofessional; it is borderline harassment packaged as a joke. It was just.....awful. And it made me feel awful, and later enraged. I choose not to mention this person by name in this review—I only hope that this never happen again, or I would be less polite than simply saying "actually, never mind" and walking out.

We were the only customers when we arrived, waited around 5 mins to order while a barista was making the drinks and the cashier was talking to a person in front of the pastry case, nobody acknowledged us so my wife said “hi, can we order?” to which the cashier replied “are you in a rush?” under his breath for some reason. Which was unnecessarily rude and uncalled for. I’ve never had a team member treating me this way just because we asked if we can order, I guess they weren’t really in the mood…

I regularly come to this branch of Starbucks , however , today's (17th of June, 2023 @ 17:45 ) experience is very different. The cashier never told the staff preparing my drink of the add ons I asked for (and paid for). The staff who prepared my drink then asked the cashier, PAMBREEN to confirm my order after I told her that I asked for a Caramel drizzle instead of cream. The cashier told her to just "drizzle it on top" in a very, very rude and nonchalant manner. I know this kind of incidents happen, but what annoyed me was the fact that instead of acknowledging her mistake, PAMBREEN was very reckless in replying , to "just drizzle it on top! Although it's a usual occurrence to easily get mixed up with people's orders sometimes, but, lack of manners is not acceptable. I love Starbucks , but the behaviour of PAMBREEN In the Chiswick Branch was totally RUDE! And she went to explain to the next customer after me what transpired between us, and continued to talk about it, even when I was already sat away. I could very well hear her talking away to her colleagues, boasting and laughing about it. Clearly unapologetic and unabashedly rude. I am appalled of the behaviour of this PAMBREEN. Being young is no excuse to be rude and without manners. Plus the toilet was very dirty. The staff were informed twice by two different customers that it needs cleaning but they certainly took their time to clean it, even though it wasn't busy. I won't recommend this place , probably best to go to other branches of Starbucks. 👎👎👎👎👎

I always love to have my morning coffee at Starbucks on Chiswick High Road. The coffee is absolutely delicious and so incredibly tasty. It is the staff at Starbucks on Chiswick High Road that are really wonderful and so professional and extremely kind and caring as well and will always talk to me every single day. Andrea, Prableen and Dani are absolutely outstanding at their jobs and will always go the extra mile to support the customers in the Coffee Shop. They work extremely hard each and every day and have really exceptional customer service skills. This is one of the main reasons I continually go to this coffee shop, because all of the staff are so very helpful and friendly - especially Andrea, Prableen and Dani. Thank you all so much for always being so happy, positive and for always being so very caring each and every day.

Firstly i asked for an Oat milk Late But ended up with a normal milk late, probably due to the barista being more interested in telling his tales to the other team member or previous shift exploits. I went to sit down in what looked like a cosy corner with padded seats, looked more like an “Adult” play area though, white stains on seats and general questionable marks. Then I went to the toilet 🤮 OMG Please get someone to clean it, Starbucks HQ send in the cleaners!!!!

Ordered a coffee, the guy didn’t take my name. Two minutes later slid a coffee over to me which turned out to be someone else’s. The cashier saw me take it, didn’t say a word. When I complained it was not what I ordered the cashier didn’t apologise for giving me the wrong drink, he demanded I apologise to the person whose drink id mistakenly taken. Deeply odd customer service aside (seems to be the same guy mentioned in all the bad reviews), there’s only ever one person working here so the service is also painfully slow. Best of going to Nero 10 seconds walk away.

Staff a great and friendly place is not too quiet or overly busy and it's a good sized place so you can meet a a group, couple or find a quiet nook to read, study or work... honestly it would have had a 5 star if the seating was cleaner, they have a mix of material and leather seats and the material ones could use a clean.... but they're by no means filthy.

So I ordered a large strawberry acai, brownie bites to eat. I said dine in. But you know what they gave? A small strawberry acai, and placed the brownie bites in individual paper bags? The bites were tiny. It was such a waste. I had to ask for a plate and moved my food and threw away the paper bags. I tend not to ask for receipts so I trusted the cashier but everything she entered was wrong. First time trying this branch and I am so disappointed.

I’m a Gold member and I usually go to the Turnham Starbucks since it’s more local. This Starbucks does have the atmosphere but do mess up their drinks quite often I’ve seen. When requesting my drink they’d gotten the order wrong atleast 4 times and had a attitude. I do suggest the Starbucks at Turnham, it may be smaller but it’s a lot better.

Ordered 2 hot drinks. The date I went it appeared the store had run out of cash coins? Manager or whoever it was named Emilio proceeded to tell the trainee cashier to give everyone change in pennies. Understandable if they didn’t have any coins but should have gave customers the option by letting them know this before ordering. Card machine was also not working either! Cashier proceeded to give me £0.50 in 2ps - Emilio told the cashier it’s no big deal! It would’ve of been nice for them to apologise rather than shrug it off. I had so much 2ps I ended up dumping them into the tip box as it overflowed in my purse.

I was a big fan of Costa,coffee. I am an Oat family. Since Costa lost its texture and their coffee quality changed into a reverse direction. I replaced them by Starbucks man their coffee is just has coffee flavour. ASK FOR KEY IF YOU WANT TO USE THE TOILET. The most ridiculous system I've had to experience. I went to the toilet, locked the door and someone just opens the door with the key behind me. Apparently you have to ask for the key, but its not written anywhere in the shop nor by the toilets. So why would you hand the key out if your toilet door locks? You pull the door and if it's shut you assume it's busy. Really stupid system....

The place is quite dirty; my mum ordered a salad and, sadly, when we took the lid off, it turned out that inside was a dead fly. As it was the last salad, we couldn't get a new one. My sandwiches didn't taste fresh, which was a pity too. When it comes to our drinks - my one was too sweet, and my mum didn't enjoy hers. In general, it is quite good if you want a take away because it's near the park, but it's definitely not the cleanest Starbucks around.

Huge Starbucks. Having my second coffee. Kinda need to use a toilet...but... Toilets are locked. There's one key to open one of them. And you need to ask staff for that key... Why? I'm old enough to remember the times when you needed a code from your receipt to use the toilet. But I thought we were over those times and we became kinder and opened the toilets for public use... Quite unpleasantly impressed.

Good for a frame of pool when its quiet. Place needs a good clean. Dirty glasses I've been sick after drinking in here! The restaurant is good though.
