Starbucks Coffee in Forest Heath

Toilet was plugged, big queues, they didn't have any filter coffee brewed and ready. But there's not a lot of options on that road so stop while you can. UPDATE: visited again today, years after I left this last review. Again, no filter coffee and the toilet was closed. Amazing work.

Such a shame that no one considered the furniture, layout or decor.

Only went in to use the toilet facilities. 1 had no toilet seat. The other toilet looked like someone had wrestled king kongs finger in there. The ceiling had about 40 screws in it clearly trying to keep the ceiling from falling down... not a great look. Not sure when it was cleaned but clearly a long time ago..

Shop is fine, but only one charger on site

I've visited this Starbucks several times, and each time, there's been an issue with my order. Typically, the mistakes are related to alternative milks or specific requests, but it’s clear that the staff isn’t properly reading the printed labels on the orders. As a result, I’ve had to wait while they remake my drink. Not only does this waste my time, but it also wastes ingredients, which is frustrating. Additionally, the staff seems disengaged and unapproachable, making the overall atmosphere feel more like a chore than a pleasant coffee run. It's a shame, as I usually enjoy Starbucks, but this particular location hasn’t been meeting expectations.

Always clean and tidy. Good service. We always stop here on our way to London

Ordered 3 drinks, order was wrong after confirming with them 3 times. They refused to give the last drink saying the payment was unconfirmed, even knowing the money had left my bank. Just go into the Greggs next door and avoid the staff here

Like eating and drinking tasteless food & drink in an atmosphereless IKEA. And why produce food and drink hotter than the surface of the sun?

Closes at 7:30 not 8:30 as it says here. Person picked up phone without saying hello this is Starbucks so I had to ask is this the Starbucks number not once but twice before I got a confirmation that I had the correct number. Why couldn’t they just say this is Starbucks and we are closed?

It's a coffee shop at a service station. A welcome rest.

Recently spruced up Starbucks westbound on the A14. Strangely quiet, but parking can be a bit tight at times. Nice place to take a break from driving, have a drink, sandwich, bun or light snack.

I know it was early but I felt like an interruption to both member of staffs morning. The order taker didn't smile at all for the whole sale and the Barista spilt more coffee on himself than he put in my cup. Not what I expect or have experienced in the past @starbucks

Perfect stop between Suffolk and Surrey. Always a good choice of panninis etc and yummy cakes and pastry. Quick service and good tasting coffee. Toilets clean as was eating area. Parking limited on busy days but I've always found a spot.

Contactless was down. Other than that it was fine.

Older gentleman on the till was incredibly rude and passive-aggressive at me while I was ordering; I ended up adding on an extra drink as my partner joined me suddenly, he asked for something similar to a smoothie and all I got back was a sharp "Frappe", my partner said he just wanted something cold and sorta sweet/fruity, and again the guy just said "Frappe" even sharper seemingly getting more frustrated at us... no any suggestions or sort of conversation when I tried - he made it very clear we had annoyed him! Came off as incredibly rude. Would reccomended training this person in social skills and emotional controll/awareness perhaps. I totally get if I had been blunt and rude to him first, but I was not, I tried to engage in conversation and resolve his clear dislike that I had added the extra drink on to my order, but I think maybe this just made him more frustrated at me! The Frappe in the end wasn't very nice to taste, I regret massively continuing with the order should have just told him to forget the whole thing and gone next door to Greggs! The place is soulless and dirty, one to avoid I'd say. Happy to never come back again.

Service is a bit hot and miss. Sometimes great and team really putting in effort other times it’s clear that it’s an effort for them to even smile. Coffee varies too which is frustrating you’d expect consistency considering most of the making is automated. Food is fine, nothing amazing.

Place was filthy, the counter to add sugars was covered in spilt old drinks, the bin over flowing and a spilt drink left on the floor. I ordered via the app and waited 30 minutes for my order. No apology for the wait

3 staff 9 people in queue for almost 10 minutes. Main road services so had expected efficiency. Would help if all team members pitched in.

Dirty, unloved place from start to finish , loos need a deep clean , unswept floors & tables need clearing , don’t come here unless desperate & then leave as quick as possible

Coffee was actually undrinkable. They made me another but it was just as bad. Toilets were all out of order. Recommended you avoid this Starbucks. Not even worth a one star!

Three hours until closing and chairs on tables and toilets closed to stop you eating in. Rubbish all over car park and surrounding area.

We had to stop on way to airport, 2 teas and 2 ham and cheese toasties £19,30, disgusting toilets and hard chairs, no thanks.

Would give no stars of could. Showed up at 7.45 states shutting at 8pm . Refused entry even tho a gentleman and his young disabled son urgently needed the loo he turned him away and said it’s not our problem we are now shut even tho it’s not 8pm. Absolutely disgusting appalling customer service. Should not falsely advertise closing hrs 8pm when. Staff are locking up at 7.45pm

I just can’t get over how a service station Starbucks has only 2 staff members. When one was on the tills and the other making coffee, this guy just walks off and starts doing something else. The one guy actually working the till and making coffee did every while no one helped him. While stood here waiting over 10 mins for My coffee a young girl and another guy came back. Don’t walk off half way through a busy service

Very rude staff member when we went to get breakfast and she threw are bags of food at us which is not professional and had bad customer service as I work for a supermarket it's not very professional she needs to be more polite to customers my wife said there wasn't hardly any toliet roll in the toliets either

Starbucks - pretty good for vegan options! Michael served me coffee today. He was an absolute angel. I just wanted regular coffee and was pretty confused by the mighty list of options. He helped get regular coffee and made me laugh while doing so. It didn't hurt that he is a charming hottie.

Drinks are watery and tasteless!

Huge space for us - quite empty because people are just taking away their coffees. We tried the Crème Brûlée specialties - quite good but the flavor could be more persistent and powerful. I recommend stopping by.

Always stop here to get a fill up of my coffee, location is great on the A14 if you coming from the east coast.

I just went into this Starbucks, and saw a lady being extremely rude to the man behind the till. I believe his name was James. I just wanted to say that I thought James was wonderful. I have been to this Starbucks many times on my route to work and James has never failed to make me smile, he is a bubbly and extremely helpful person!

The slowest Starbucks in existence. Save your time and drive further to the next services, or go to greggs next door. 20 minutes after ordering to get coffee. Dirty tables.

Please note if you're showing a discount card on your phone and have a wallet on it make sure the card reader is cancelled before showing your discount card as staff are useless and don't do it

Understaffed, very slow service, bins overflowing, rude staff. If it was a choice between using this Starbucks again or cutting my own arms off I'd be useless in a Mexican Wave!

The only Starbucks that actually takes interest in their customers. I’ve never Been asked if my oat milk drink is a preference or allergy Apart from here . They also take time to converse which I find is very pleasant. You don’t get service like this in many places.

Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks. They are reliably all the same. The coffee is always the same “as it says on the can” . If you like their coffee etc it is superb. Useful place to get a coffee when on the move…

Serves great coffee. All the staff are very good at what they do, especially Alexandra and James, always welcomed with a friendly environment.

A nice size services version of Starbucks with plenty of seating. Has a Gregs attached for other food options. BIG ISSUE HOWEVER There is only a SINGLE DISABLED BAY in the car park and even that is very tight on space. At least 4 other badge holders mentioned it whilst I was there. This really needs to be sorted as it is a major problem.

To answer the question about what I think about Starbucks and to be honest, I will just say that I don't think about it - not the place in Bury, they have one of the best baristas in town. As a chain I think it is overrated, overpriced, overestimated for customer service - they are just after the money and using all the tricks of the trade. I can get much more real personal interactions and good quality of the drinks in any local coffee places, and feel human, not just a money machine. This is what I think of Starbucks and I'm not sure if anyone but Google maps, wants to know about it. So life goes on, shop local!

I get a coffee every sun an mon morning when am on way to London for work and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming x fantastic service thank you ☕️☕️🌟🌟

Had a frappachino, was quiet so service from the friendly barista was fast.

Went there around 6pm on Sunday. Customer service needs improving.

I had a latte in my reusable cup and a babyccino dispatched with a smile and very kind people from behind the counter. Shop was clean and toilets as well.

Worst Starbucks we been to staff was more taking each other laughing and don’t care about customer

I asked for a double expresso in a flat white cup, topped up with water. This was met with a rude response as it appears that this drink was mot on the menu and they would be in trouble if they seved such a drink. I politely told them that it would be nice if they just served me what I had asked for. This they did but not with good grace.

The best services I have been to. Immaculate inside, including toilets. Our server (Delia) was friendly and really efficient!

Stopped off during a business day, great coffee and really friendly staff.

Very fast and friendly service. Very nice decor. Late opening hours. Plenty of parking. There is an M&S shop in the adjacent BP garage. There are Fuuse and EVPoint EV chargers in the car park.

Not all Starbucks are created equal, these guys get it right every time. Aleksandra has turned the place around and James is always on point.

Staff in this cafe were lovely - friendly and helpful. The cafe was a nice place to be and the team are clearly taking care of it. Coffee was awful.

I came 1:30h before it closes and I needed to use the bathroom because of my high blood sugars (I'm diabetic) and I asked one of the employees and they said it was fine for me to use the bathroom... After I came out I become bombarded from a guy that may have been her college or manager idk, saying that I shouldn't have done this and I should have went for the pump ... I tried to explain the situation and he continued to be rude about it, like he did not care for my condition at all... Will never come back here again

Unfortunately didn't get a name but I was served by an older woman with blonde hair. Very rude, unfriendly and walked off once she'd taken my order to the opposite end of the seating area to clean tables, no "someone else will serve you shortly etc". I'm quite a smiley and friendly person, she made me feel uncomfortable. Not what you need when you're travelling all day. After a few minutes a friendlier younger man with dark hair came and served me. So I appreciated that. I just want to bring that to the attention of whoever is in charge of this branch. If you're working with the public you need to at least pretend you don't have contempt for them.

The cost of my coffee seemed to be well above what it should have been last time i stopped here but by time I'd really thought about it I was on the road again so just check your receipts.
