Starbucks Bankside in Southwark

As a typical tourist, I'll complain about not working wifi. When I was mentioning this to a staff member, I was told that this is normal and that all that the staff can do is to complain further to their manages. In any case, this is the problem of multiple Starbucks and I don't know why. Maybe too many customers are connected and it overload the network. But this is exactly what a café should be prepared for or count with. There is only 1 toilet at the place for everyone. Considering that the shop is not the smallest, maybe few of them would be better. I had matcha latté. It's possible to have it without added sugar. Yay! But since I was staying at the place, no one asked my name to put it on a cup to go (even though I had one). I am sad that I didn't have the proper Starbucks experience. But yeah, that not working wifi and just 1 toilet seems to be it in Starbucks in London.

Cuando salimos a dar un paseo por el Southbank, llovió mucho, así que fuimos a tomar un café. Terminamos comprando dos porciones de café ya que la lluvia no paró. Teníamos Americano y café blanco plano todo lo cual era bueno. Algunas áreas en el baño podrían hacer con una buena limpieza.

Pare a tomar un café mientras camina por South Bank. No es un fan de Starbucks en el mejor de los casos, ¡pero esta tienda es pequeña! Estaba muy ocupado y los dos empleados estaban trabajando duro para hacer frente. ¡Logró conseguir una mesa junto a la puerta trasera, mientras que la empresa de entrega realizaba una entrega a la tienda a través de dicha puerta! Hizo frío y ruidoso.

Et perfekt sted at søge tilflugt fra kulden og varme sig på en varm kop the, kakao eller kaffe - deres Chai Latte er fantastisk og ungerne elskede den varme kakao. Sødt og smilende personale, lynhurtig servering - til dato den hurtigste servering jeg har oplevet hos Starbucks, flot og rent og med en skøn stemning af glade gæster.

I ordered a medium tea and was served an enormous mug of it! Very good value, I must say! The tea was just right, not too weak not too strong, and such a lot of it! Goodness knows what the large size is like - probably served in a bucket! haha The baristas are very friendly and helpful. The tables were cleared and wiped. All this in the shadow of Tate Modern! How trendy!

use Costa, far better with real milk not UHT milk. Plenty around the UK avoid Starbucks as coffee is appalling

Went here on Saturday as we was visiting the Tate Modern. Staff were nice however tables were not cleared in over an hour. Seemed very short staffed. Drinks / food was of the Starbucks quality.

I like it. You can say it is the same everywhere. It is good everywhere too! I went there about 5 times for hot drinks, which I do not frequently do at home, so it felt like a vacation thing to do :)

Staff in here are always friendly and service is generally quick (apart from lunch times) visit later in day for a quiet drink.

There are two branches of Starbucks quite close together, but this one is near to the Tate Modern and faces the River. Not a particularly large premises, but on a sunny Sunday afternoon, very busy. There is a smallish seating area with several different choices of chair/bench plus a number of places outside to perch. All the usual Starbucks range are carried and despite the heavy footfall, the staff were coping well, welcoming and efficient, with tables being cleared regularly.

You get what you expect here. Coffee is OK. The breakfast roll is good. Service is good. I never have to wait when I order online.

For some reason, I have a challenge getting a Venti Flat White in London from any Starbucks. In the US, although it's not on the menu, the barrista is happy to accommodate. In London, everyone seems super concerned about my espresso intake. I literally have to order two talls and then drink them separately...crazy!

Usual Starbucks range of coffees and snacks. Efficient staff. Ideally located right by the Tate Modern

Great location, especially when visiting Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Fast service & great drinks. You can order in advance from the app. Friendly staff

But the drinks were welcome on a cold day and it is very close to Tate, Globe, the Thames, SouthBank etc
