Starbucks in County Durham

The intercom wasn't working which created a build up of cars through the drive-through. The young girl was polite, but asked for chocolate on my Cappuccino and gave me 1 white sugar instead of brown. Should have 2 working at the drive-through window. The Cappuccino I enjoyed without the chocolate . A medium Cappuccino is £4.25 . A good coffee I'll pay for.

Soya latte must have been prepared with off milk as it was all lumpy and tasted off. Unable to drink this.

Very quick visit. Still , pleasant. Coffee Americano with hot milk. Bit pricey for pensioners but, on occasion it's worth it.

Hate leaving bad reviews but it’s a bit annoying when you pay £7 for a refresher and they NEVER put the toppings in. Like thanks guys for my strawberry juice

The staff at the window were very kind and had a good laugh with us. I'm editing this after the Christmas season to say Thank you to every staff member that sang to us or even the Grinch for making us howl after handing us our coffee. Definitely my favourite place to get coffee because of them

Great food, must not have been any drivers when ordered so had to wait a long time

Paninis were microwaved and not much filling. Milk was spilt when served. Coffee was nice and hot and strong was the only plus.

Grinch!!! Omg it was excellent fun he was so in character and all staff were friendly drinks were fab, food nice, and they take cash unlikely Stanley Starbucks which pales in comparison on every bar!! Ps grinch said hi and see you brought Santa with you - the dude in picks! lol (hubby)

Food and coffee arrived hot and no spillages. Arrived on time and the 5 cheese toastie tasted great.

Very disappointed Consett Starbucks does not allow well behaved dogs entry. This means dogs are left in cars or tied up outside causing them distress. Luke was very helpful and friendly.

Jamie was absolutely fantastic tonight.My granddaughter, who is ADHD Autistic Auti sensory, ordered what she thought was a hot drink . Jamie saved a massive meltdown by making her a hot drink. He has no idea the difference this made fir us. Thanks a million Jamie you're a star

Just love the coffee and friendly service Amazing staff

Overall, can't fault it. The large caramel latte is my go to drink. Service is friendly and staff have been more chatty of late, decent music played in background. Very nice place just to chill out. Good drive thru or parking if driving. Very handy for Tesco if doing a little shopping as well.

Don’t like to leave a negative review however I ordered a coffee, sandwich and muffin and there was a chunk of black plastic in the coffee that ended up in my mouth. I had raised this matter with just eat just to make sure it was passed on to Starbucks for health and safety but they told me to add it as a review. I just want to feed it back to check the machine for broken pieces in the black plastic to avoid other customers also experiencing this. Thank you

Good place to work, chat or drink coffee. Pretty easy to find a decent place to sit. Relaxed and competent staff.

I now remember why I haven't been back In years, nothing has changed. The place is soulless and filthy. The flat white was tepid and tasteless.

This store DOES NOT ALLOW DOGS, NO SIGNS ANYWHERE, YET STORES AROUND DURHAM CITY ALLOW DOGS....

Usually good but had to request a refund for missing sandwiches. Everything else was good and delivery driver efficient.

Quick order preparation and fast delivery, panini and focaccia's were hot and tasty, white mocha coffees with oat milk and white chocolate sauce were lovely. Brilliant service.

Typical starbucks, service depends on how busy they are or more importantly how busy the drive through is. Food again same now matter which starbucks u visit. I like the fruit toast with my coffee but am also partial to the almond crossiant.

Love going in for my coffee first thing on a morning. Staff are wonderful very respectful with a smile every time. Lovely atmosphere and very relaxing.

Driver has called me to say that they have gone to the wrong address (it is appearing correctly in my order) they are now saying this is where they have been paid to deliver the item. The item is appearing as delivered but the driver has not come to my property.

Popped in here on the 23rd of December. Was welcomed by a worker dressed up as the grinch and sharing the Christmas spirit. Made my day. The staff were all friendly and drink was served quickly. Definitely recommend this Starbucks

The biscuit I ordered wasn’t available so the team gave me a brownie instead with a handwritten note to explain! I’m not keen on brownies but was a nice gesture regardless and Just Eat have refunded me. No harm done and a nice treat for my partner who loves brownies haha. Thank you!

This Starbucks is a franchise owned by Euro Garage, and not an official Starbucks. As a result, it's not dog friendly. It was such a disappointment after a group walk to not be allowed in. The staff were friendly and service was decent, but this is something for other dog owners to be aware of.

You forgot the coffee in my frap

Me and my wife thought we will give this place another chance after utterly disgusting coffee (flat white and latte) we were served month or so ago. This time we were served warmed up semi skimmed milk which they call hot chocolate. I am a fan of Starbucks, but Consett’s branch seems to be the worst when it comes to drinks. I mean, how hard can it be, all other branches around can make an effort. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back there.

Staff have amazing energy, love it

I went in to feed my baby and have a quick coffee. However, we ended being there for 4 hours due to my car breaking down. The staff were amazing with me and my 4 month old. Telling me it was fine my car was there, then noticing I was a little stressed due to what was happening and my son needed a nap and feed. I got him sorted and another lovely member of staff asked if I would like anything getting. Continuing to check on us; asking if we’d like the music turned down, etc, as we had to wait quite sometime for help. I am so grateful and it made a stressful experience a whole lot better than what could have been.

Visited with kids yesterday. Great customer service, staff were great with taking the kids' order. It was very cute and as always good coffee.

Normally I shop else where but decided to try Starbucks for a change. Drive thru. Excellent customer service experience. Very friendly and super quick service. Drinks were great, tasty and hot. We were even given a free treat for our pooch ha ha Great touch. Credit to the staff 👍🏻.

Took nearly 30 to give me my coffee. Then my husband was waiting about 20 minutes for his americano after me. Also it's bean to cup.

Priority seems to be for drive thru's even though you've entered shop before them. Needs a better system for sit in customers. Shop is always cold and need to wear a coat during cold weather because drive thru window is always open!!!

Staff always fast and friendly absolutely no faults what so ever with them but god awful coffee as far as coffee goes I really can make much better tasting coffee at home with even the cheapest of tesco beans. Only suffer through this coffee is you absolutely cannot get caffeine anywhere else.

Disappointed with the LAZY culture of the staff at consett Starbucks the last three weeks we have been told only paper cups as the dishwasher is broken, today we witnessed staff talking to FRIENDS and giving them proper cups , this is not acceptable NEEDS SORTING, COSTA doesn’t take this LAZY route, Starbucks had SIX staff in today, ridiculously disappointing.

Starbucks Consett have a great vibe. The downside as ever will be the ridiculous cost the food and the coffee.

Avoid bacon rolls, unless you have free dental! Decided to give them a second chance lately no better I'm afraid, 2 x tasteless Panini's small latte, and frappuccino £ 17 not really a cheap snack!

A regular coffee break stop, for us. Young staff are always pleasant! Gave four stars because of not being able to sit inside...but we did sit outside. As a campervan owner, car park is big enough to accommodate👍🏻 Update: all is back to normal service now. All restrictions have been removed. Coffee and cakes...as good as ever!

Over rated , expensive, bland , so cold , just over £15 for 2 cups of froth , a strawberry refresher drink , not sure where the strawberry was , full of ice and coconut milk and a cookie , sorry I won’t be returning

Nice and clean with plenty of free parking and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great as you would expect and the fruit toast with jam And butter is awesome. Plenty of tables and a small covered outside seating area.
