I just wanted to take the time to say a big thanks to the staff working at the station starbucks in Leeds today. There were clearly a lot of people that were too hot...impatient..angry and directing a lot of it towards the barrister. I want to say thank you for then for still smiling, letting me know the waiting time and still despite all of the crap they were getting, working hard to male sure everyone got served. Special thanks to the bug bald guy serving (sorry didn't catch a name) Hollie

This store has just had a refurbishment and it looks so beautiful now! The service was very quick so I got to my train in perfect timing and the barista serving me was so welcoming and lovely despite how busy they were! 10/10

The coffee could be better made, really. The tables were dirty despite little traffic, no trash can. Seasonal coffee and tea were completely different from what is on sale. The matcha was not mixed well, I personally think that the staff simply did not want to make this coffee. Only one plus is you can buy a Starbucks cups in this place.

I got a new coffee machine at Christmas and was highly recommended Starbucks whole beans (even if you don't like Starbucks coffee!) They are excellent. Popped in here a few times and the staff have been super helpful.

Closed way earlier than they should have and said they couldn’t make the drink I wanted because they were short staffed but I saw 3 people behind the counter and that all the machines were off but the drink i wanted doesn’t need a machine to be made. To avoid this the next day I called to see if they were open and then they didn’t answer the phone, Avoid this Starbucks at all costs so unreliable and unhelpful.

They should train most of their staff proper customer service especially the ones who are in the cash register. They should be more attentive and read-back orders to avoid unecessary mistakes. It’s just frustrating sometimes.

The worst experience in my life I requested a caramelised macadamia and received a caramel mocha instead. When I told the barista, she claimed that I had ordered it and withheld my Caramelized Macadamia. She continued to roll her eyes at me after that. I would never recommend coming here and I would never come back!

Very disappointed we purchased a reusable cup and ask them to used it for our drink. We end up drinking without knowing they did not even check and clean the cup first. We found out there is a paper(sticker) floating in our drink.

Called in for a takeaway cup of tea before the train, staff need to learn how to make tea, it was virtually a cup of milk, tea wouldn’t brew so staff offered another teabag which didn’t help because the milk had been added before the tea could brew. Left the cup of tea full to the brim and walked out, disgusting and won’t buy there again

Personally I rarely use Starbucks. However, on this occasion I really wanted to quench my thirst with a strawberry Açai. From what I remember there were roughly 4 people before my order and another 4 after. To my surprise, all were served without any indication of my order even being started. Strange but not unlikely. The workers who took my order were professional enough to check the £50 note I gave over by asking the manager on duty if they “accept £50 notes” to which I took no offence even though as far as I was aware all denominations of the English note from £5 through to £50 are just as good as each other. This shocked me but I believe it was a misunderstanding as the young lady was meant to ask if the manager if they could check the note to see if it was a real note. Of course shops in general today have money checkers etc but I guess if this is not available then the managers opinion will be good enough. The young gentlemen who were taking care of the orders once they had received them from the lady’s at the till are who I can say would In my opinion have to take some responsibility for the delay in starting my order. Responsibility however can fall on the shoulders of the manager due to them being the lead staff member on shift. Working as a manager in the past myself I would say it’s unfair to account for another adults mistake. I asked for a refund as I was quite upset about the whole experience. The manager offered me a free drink as compensation after I was provided a refund which I guess is standard when things like this happen. What confused me after this though is the manager asked the gentleman making orders if the açai would be started. Maybe I misunderstood myself but I felt as though that meant I would get one made right away. Silly me, I waited another 5 or so minutes without any update on the drink I though was getting made but no bother I decided I had overstayed my welcome in this particular store and decided to leave to write this review. Overall I have given 3 stars for the efforts of the staff and not 1 star because that can come across derogatory when trying to write a realistic review.

Just popped in here before our train and ordered a coffee caramel frappuccino. The guy on the till said 'it'll be a bit of a wait because...' then trailed off at the end of his sentence. I said that's fine but didn't realise how long I'd be waiting. After about 15 minutes, my mum and sisters had nearly finished their drinks and he'd managed to make several other frappuccinos for people who'd ordered after us. He eventually saw me waiting and looked a bit annoyed, went and made my drink, then handed it to me without an apology. To make things worse there was no caramel in my drink. Dreadful customer service!

the worst starbucks i’ve been to. one my first visit they ran out of blonde roast and decided to tell me AFTER they made my drink and just said sorry no blonde roast . today i ordered a drink in a refillable cup which they only filled half filled it and then charged me for caramel drizzle which i never even got . starbucks is my go to but i’m so annoyed with this branch.

Kinda frustrating not to get what you pay for, because you didn't realise it would take so long to prepare. This is first time this occured and is rare. But some kinda queue counter would be useful.

With Starbucks is they've never learnt how to make a decent coffee. It's always my port of last call. But this was worse as I wanted to eat a toastie for breakfast. Served in a bag, even if you're eating in its soggy so defeats the object of being a toastie. They have these modern screens which flash up different adverts which means at times the electronic menu isn't displayed. BUT THANK HEAVENS I DISCOVERED BREW SOCIETY just down from rhe station...now I can get decent coffee and a proper toastie.

I've never felt the need to review a place before but the ignorance of the staff in here is unreal. I had 20 minutes until my train after getting served (only one other person in the queue ahead of me) and it took 5 staff over 15 minutes to make my drink (and the other person) due to the nonstop personal chatting between the staff. I made my train with 30 seconds to spare... need a crew that understands they are working in a travel hub and people are in a rush.

My twin brother Stephen and I had jumped the train down from Liverpool to Leeds for a five night break, after alighting the train we made our way to the exit and decided to grab a coffee to go from this Starbucks in the railway station, we ordered a flat white coffee, coffee was really good and served steaming hot ,we stopped here and gathered our thoughts and enjoyed our coffee's. I am a big fan of Starbucks coffee ☕ , its a consistently good brand ,coffee is superb especially the flat white coffee. We moved on after our coffee's and I must say I was totally impressed with this Starbucks outlet which is easy to locate in Leeds Railway Station 🚉.

The staff who was serving us was so slow, also busy talking to her friend in the corner. Appalled at the state of this Starbucks, every table outside covered in rubbish, spills all over the floor, broken milk jug which was exceptionally unhygienic and the condiment area was absolutely disgusting ! It's a standard big station coffee shop, so it's never going to be top rated, but it used to have reasonably friendly staff and a surprisingly comfortable atmosphere. However after 2 late night visits (only one open bar McD), sad to say, service was surly and rude, comfort has disappeared, and prices pure ripoff. Never again.

Bought a Mango Smoothie from the Starbucks on the bridge at Leeds Train Station. I then accidentally spilt my drink and walked back to ask for a new straw (after trying to drink it without and spilling on myself haha) the young, happy guy making coffees was happy to help me and also asked me if i would like him to top up my drink. He then did this whilst serving the other customers and gave me a full drink with lid and straw back! I was so pleased by his attitude and service with a smile that we tipped him and said a big thank you! Well done to this guy from being a great employee! #givehimaraise

Asked for 2 hot chocolates and a caramel shortbread, the lady who served us asked twice what dessert we had ordered, she then asked us to move down the line to collect our drinks so we had to remind her that she hadn't served us our food yet, she then gave us the shortbread without an apology. We then got on our train to find we only had one hot chocolate barely luke warm, the other drink was a coffee of some sort. Overall bad service and actually being served the wrong drinks.

Another slow visit for coffee, waiting over 10 mins for 2 coffees after ordering, there seemed to be just 2 staff until 2 must of come back from lunch, but I’ve been on numerous occasions when there has been 3-4 behind counter and it’s still a 10 min wait, which when u have a train to catch I’ve nearly gone without the order. I like the coffee at Starbucks they do a good vanilla latte and it’s great spot for meeting friends before going into town but now when I look thro the window at the Q, if there is more then 3 I go to the other coffee shops on the concourse

We went into Starbucks at 4 and came out at 4:30. This wasn’t due to a long que but due to lack of good service. Definitely would not recommend. Because of coming out so late we missed our train and had to wait an extra 30 mins. Not only was the service bad but the drinks were poorly made. The cookies and cream Frappuccino was watery and had massive chunks of ice in the bottom of it. Not to mention the fact that the people behind me all got served before me!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Called in on my way for my train ordered a large latte , a chocolate shortbread and a chocolate chunk cookie. The coffee was amazing and they can’t be faulted on that however the cookie and shortbread were horrible and I just couldn’t eat them as they had a funny taste to them.

Tried the mini starbucks above the platforms for the first time today. Attended at ~1140hrs 13/7/19 for a medium sized americano no milk. With only 1 person ahead in the queue who was just being handed coffee as I placed my order,in 10 minutes 3 members of staff moved like slugs and could not make 1 coffee before my train landed - what a slack and slow service. There was no time to get a refund either and most importantly no coffee for my train journey. ...not what I expect from one of the leading coffee giants, won't make this mistake again.

Starbucks is within the station but nearer the exit so a few minutes walk from the platform. It's very busy but you get served quickly but be prepared to wait whilst drink is made. They take your name then call you when it's done.

Staff were friendly but got both mine and the guy before me's order wrong. He got the wrong flavour frap, i got my drink extra hot instead of a cooler than normal. There were five of you behind what looked like a cramped bar. I'm guessing it's stress, but you need to pass on orders more clearly. Otherwise, nice clean shop and quick service.

Normal Starbucks coffee and food options. Cafe looks a bit tired and messy. Staff not very friendly and donct seem to care much. Drinks and food ok though.

We used to love this cafe together with a great, well stocked garden centre. Fabulous cakes, buns and meals and we've never had a problem. However, our visit during the first week in Jan 24 was an eye opener. I gave my cup back because it was dirty so was given a clean one. Both teapots were stained outside even though we only got hot water to put our specialty tea bags in. When we used some of the milk we found the inside of the jug was covered in black mould spots. The person I spoke to and showed the jug to just shrugged her shoulders and said everything goes through the dishwasher. Funnily enough my review on Google has been taken down as have the pictures of the filthy crockery.

Restaurant looks nice but was freezing cold. French toast breakfast on a cold plate was tasteless and thrown together draped with 2 pieces of bacon that were burnt, greasy and limp. I had one and a half tiny sausages in a stale bun not even buttered. £17 wasted. Find somewhere else that takes greater pride in what it serves and better respects its customers.
