Starbucks in Edinburgh, City of

Parecía demasiado conveniente para no evitarlo, ya que estaba justo al otro lado de mi lugar de trabajo por el día. Normalmente me encanta un Starbucks pero este en particular era abrumador. El personal era lo suficientemente amable, pero el almuerzo era promedio en el mejor de los casos. Un Caramelo Macchiato servido en una taza para llevar cuando estaba sentado en - decepcionante por decir lo menos. El Envoltorio del Desayuno, bueno, tenía grandes esperanzas aquí pero había más Frijoles que cualquier otra cosa en él. Definitivamente no generoso en el frente de tocino y salchicha. En general, no fue una experiencia que me alejara de Starbucks, pero ciertamente se encuentra en el extremo inferior de la escala.

All staff at Starbucks shandwick place are incredibly welcoming and service is always quick. The quality of hot and cold drinks is fantastic everytime. Thanks always, Lora :)

I've been coming to Starbucks regularly on my way to work, when the Haymarket station store became too busy in the mornings I decided to visit the Shandwick Place store so that I wasn't late to work. I'm not impressed. I have been three times this week and every single time my order has been wrong, and when I point out the error I am made to feel like it's my fault that they messed up the order. Perhaps I should start walking in with 'I want vanilla syrup in my drink' on my forehead and then I might finally get what I ordered. Going to start going back to the Haymarket station store.

Awful and dirt no service waited ages to be served , people sitting with laptops in same seat for ever , cold tea and coffee was disgusting

Entré con mi empleador que está en silla de ruedas. Debido al distanciamiento social, solo tienen la parte trasera de la tienda abierta para sentarse y debes subir 3 escalones, lo que no fue posible para nosotros. El personal no podría haber sido más amable, encontraron un lugar en la parte delantera de la tienda que estaba lo suficientemente lejos de los otros clientes como para adherirse al distanciamiento social y preparar una mesa y una silla para nosotros. Todo estaba limpio antes de que nos sentáramos. Este acto de bondad fue muy apreciado.

Sé que estamos en medio de una pandemia, y se deben seguir las medidas de seguridad, pero tuve la impresión de que la barista no podía molestarse con una persona mayor, y me molestó su actitud grosera e intimidatoria. Me gritaba, exigía saber si me encontraba con alguien y cada vez que intentaba moverme me gritaba que no era así, a pesar de que seguí las medidas de distanciamiento social marcadas en el suelo y sus indicaciones. Quería que yo completara el seguimiento y la localización en papel, y parecía sorprendida de que quisiera hacerlo en el móvil. El café estuvo espantoso. No había papel higiénico, pero no me atreví a pedirlo. Me sentí extremadamente incómodo y molesto, y no regresaré.

Tables covered with used cups, had to remove a plate and cup to make space. Chap at the counter looked miserable and certainly not friendly or welcoming. I won’t be returning. Hardly any tables available as mostly taken up by laptop users nursing one drink for hours...

I just popped in here for a quick breakfast and opted for the bacon and egg roll with a tomato relish. First impressions were that the service all seemed a bit disjointed – I took it to the nearest till point, where the waitress smiled at me and said I had to go to the next one. Why was she stood at that one then? And then when the roll was warmed up, other members of staff completely ignored the microwave bleeping away. The roll itself was perfectly adequate, but that’s about all I can really say about it. Served with a sachet of both brown and tomato sauce (seems a bit wasteful, I hope they don’t just throw unused ones away) it was nothing to really get excited about. An orange juice was served in a ridiculously large bottle, almost a pint, with the blurb on the back saying that it contained 3.3 servings. Well, that’s fine if there’s 3.3 of you there to drink it, but what if there’s only one? Overall, it did the job I suppose, but it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to.
