Jeez the staff in here are so slow, you can literally complete the task your yourself but in reverse! Went in to grab a coffee expecting a quick turnaround, but no nearly 5 mins before someone even acknowledged that there was someone waiting to be served! Finally placed order but there were 2 others who were still waiting at the end counter to receive their orders! Sorry but being a barista isn’t difficult, if there are 2 you then one must serve and the other makes the drinks, if it is really busy then perhaps your lend assistance but keep an eye on next customers, and at the very least apologise for the delay! Step up Starbucks you are not the only place in town! Doesn’t look like there is ever a Supervisor or Manager about assessing how the staff are operating, so no encouragement to work faster to deliver. Separately but also important, the staff are really miserable and unfriendly, I realise that it is probably not their dream job, but it is a job and you are there to represent the company!! Whatever happened to service with a smile? I mean this is not exactly exclusive to the Banbury branch, as I find quite a few in London to be the same, the branch on Berkeley Street in Mayfair is the same, it’s had the “posh” refit but the atmosphere is miserable, and the music dire, just a nice soft jazz or easy listening does the trick! But Banbury wake up your staff!

Hello, so i've been to this coffee shop twice now, both times being poor. The Price for a coffee drink that's a medium is 4.05p which blows my mind with how much Profit they make. In general coffee at the moment is just ridiculously expensive. This place is a 'Coffee' shop, they should make great coffee.... however the do not. A coffee drink should not burn my mouth on the first sip, milk should be taken to the temperature of 55–65°C, 65°C for perfection. My drink feels like its at the temperature of 85!! I must of waited 10 minutes for the drink to be ready to drink. Yes i understand people can drink coffee at a hot temperature without getting burnt but that does not mean they should be making a coffee incorrectly. I should not have to ask the barrister to make my coffee the wrong way, people should have to ask the barrister to make it HOT the incorrect way. After the coffee was ready to drink i would say its a week coffee strength but quite tasty, personally i do like a Strong coffee myself. Rank of 6/10 for taste 4/10 for strength 1/10 for preparation Thank you.

Very scruffy could do with a good clean old cups plates and food debries on the tables and many coffee cup stains on the tables. Three staff but not one of them was willing to bring our coffees to our table. Very poor Starbucks you need to up your game this branch is a disgrace

Turned up at 6pm and the cafe closes at 7pm. However they would not serve us any food. They just served drinks as they wanted to close everything down so they could get out as soon as it hit 7pm. Terrible behaviour.

Awful service every time we go here. Thought I would give them one last chance but was terrible again. Drinks were not made correctly and staff were on their phones behind the till point. Letting the company down. Will not return to the Banbury Starbucks again.

Went to Starbucks at Banbury Gateway and had rubbish experience; in the early morning it'd be nice to be greeted with a smile, or at least a 'hello'. Three staff members were totally not interested in serving, barely looking at you, not to mention say anything pleasant. Luckily the coffee was ok; but wont be going there again.

The staff wear their masks over their mouths only, leaving their noses exposed. They may as well not wear masks at all! Also the toilets could do with a good clean. It had water all over the floor. This was for takeaway

Pretty much everyone’s lives have been impacted by COVID-19 in one way or another and current restrictions include social distancing and the wearing of masks to stem the spread of infection. It’s been a year now, and you could toilet train a toddler in that time, but it appears that the staff at the Banbury Starbucks still can’t manage to comply with the rules - which are there for our safety. So whilst ordering my coffee I noticed that the three men working there all had their masks down with their noses exposed, not effective especially as they were all stood so close together. So now they had my attention, after ordering my coffee I stood back and watched. Then two of the male staff slid their masks down over their chins to have a chat. I literally couldn’t believe what they were doing - so I took a picture. I tried to contact the Starbucks complaint telephone number but I got a recorded message citing COVID as the reason for nobody being there, next I tried the Facebook page, and again a rather vague and uninvested response (they did promise to call me but alas 9 days after the event and still no phonecall). So I completed a complaint form and this time got a measured response stating “ Your comments will be shared with the store and district management team for their attention and investigation” but agin falling short of any guarantees that it would not happen again. I was again informed that I be contacted - this time by email (but guess what, it still hasn't happened). In frustration and not being able to speak with anyone from Starbucks UK the event was reported to the Police.

I saw 2.1 stars and decided to verify by myself. Yes, this place is awful. I get that is not the dream job of many people, but they should not even be hired to be that rude. I was waiting for my order when they started trash talking about some customers just because of their appearance. When I got my order, I checked and I got wrong stuff plus I was missing some things, so when I went to ask about it, they almost throw what I was missing to me, what an experience.

Service with a scowl! Girl who made my sandwich was great. Grumpy woman manager/duty manager type on the till was rude, short and condescending. Barking at customers and stood around doing not alot. Just buy something from budgens instead.
