Bought a coffee £3.30 and it’s cold! What a price for a coffee which was clearly not hot enough! Waste of money. Have to wait until home to microwave it!

Disgusted at the way one of your staff has just treated me. She used hand gestures instead of words to basically shoo me out of the way. If that’s how you treat your customers then I will never be back. What a horrible young woman she was.

We were here in November to have a socially distanced coffee, which was brilliant as we were able to sit outside the actual café but still within the confines of Starbucks property! The coffee was good and we decided to have another but as it was 2.45pm we were told we could only have a take-away coffee as the seating area was closing at 3pm......never heard anything like it, especially as we were sitting outside the café! We left and went to another establishment where we were welcomed!

So Dunfermline has 2 Starbucks. This one, and the other one in the leisure park. If you want consistency, then this is the Starbucks to come to. It’s much better, and I’ve never been told ‘we don’t have that’ like I get told regularly by the other location. My understanding is that Kinsgate Centre location is owned by Starbucks, which is why they are better. Anyway, enjoy your coffee and pastry here. I love the hibiscus tea, and the cold brew with vanilla cream.

So Starbucks is Starbucks. You pretty much know your going to get a decent drink, tasty sandwich or cake in pleasant surroundings. Could be anywhere in the world, same result. The difference that can make it rise or fall within their chains parameters are the staff. Enter stage left Carter. Epic fail. Just because it was about half an hour from closing on a Saturday afternoon doesn’t mean you should treat your customers any worse than first thing on a Monday. Feel free to sweep the floor in and around the unoccupied areas, but to go round every occupied table and sweep in and around everyone’s feet whilst they’re hoping to have a relaxing brew is massively rude and ignorant at best, and grossly incompetent at worst. Bet that isn’t part of the staff training handbook. Perhaps you think getting finished early to crack on with your personal Saturday night entertainment is more important than doing what your paid to do for the hours your paid for, but if you lose all your customers then there is no job. One less table to worry about upsetting on future as we won’t be back. One star as the drinks and sandwiches are ok even though they’re massively overpriced .

Starbucks is on the upper level of the Kingsgate shopping centre. It’s a bit distant from the main shopping but very close to the anchor store - Debenhams. On arrival, I received a very friendly greeting - it’s nice to see someone happy at work. The fare was the usual Starbucks - so it was good. Nice amount of seating and fairly tidy too. Worth a visit

The Dukes Clubhouse is one of the few places that you can go in town to have coffee or a meal with a cosy welcoming atmosphere, not be made to feel you have overstayed , has genuine friendly staff and an unrivalled view. Being dog friendly with great coffee served hot is a real bonus. Would highly recommend.

Staff are absolutely terrible. Took them 30 minutes to tell me that my daughters chicken sandwich was unavailable due to there being ‘no chicken’ whilst not telling me this when I ordered it. 30 minutes! Just to clarify - it was not busy at all… yet still took over 50 minutes for a couple of sandwiches.

very pricey, milkshake was basically milk, ice cream had no flavour of oreo ect just plain vanilla. waffle was okay just very much loaded with too much sauce. very very over priced for what it should be. shop was very bland for a dessert shop, the sweets at the back was half empty, the tubs that the sweets where in almost looked dirty. we wont be back

Breakfast consistently better than anything you would get in a garden centre and half the price too.
