Cambiaré mi opinión a 1 estrella si nadie me ayuda. -

Visit this branch quite a bit as I work just opposite. Every time the service is appalling, with sneering counter staff staring at me until I initiate my order with them. As they take my order they look at me as if I was garbage, and it's very intimidating, especially for someone with social anxiety issues. I won't be visiting again until they re-train their staff in dealing with the public.

Nice staff but loads of empty tables not cleared covered in crumbs, plates and cups. Staff friendly and attentive to customers but seating areas not clean and tidy. Messiest branch I've been in.

This place is a regular haunt of mine when Im in Manchester. You cannot fault the tea or coffee and most of the food is good and presented well. During my visits over the past year or so I have been increasingly put off by the arrogant behaviour of some of the staff. It seems they cant wait to get you out of the store, Today my cup and plate had literally been empty for seconds when a girl appeared and whipped them from under my nose! This is not a busy store! The toilet facilities are usually good here but on more than one occasion Ive found there to be no soap in the dispenser!...Not good !

The inside and outside of this shop are very relaxing, especially in the sunshine sitting outside on the monument. Very friendly staff and helpful too, gave me some milk for my baby's bottle!

I really like to stop at this cafe for a Soya latte when I around Manchester on a Sunday morning. It isn't too close to the road and has a nice seating area outside overlooking John Rylands library. It is also only a short walk to Manchester Town Hall.

"Matcha macchiato" is one of the popular items from Starbucks Asia, which is not an regular item in the U.K. but I missed it sometimes. I once ordered it in Starbucks London and the barista has no problem to reproduce it so I thought it was a hidden menu. However, after five times in different stores, the barista here in Starbucks Manchester seems never hear of this drink before but one of the barista seems exciting to take the task and aiming to make it perfect. This barista, Jade, is super experienced and smart to produce the drink simply based on photos I took from Starbucks New York, Starbucks Tokyo, Starbucks Soul, and Starbucks Hongkong. She is detail oriented, flavor oriented, and on top of everything, she is open minded and happy to try new things. Most of the other baristas in Manchester Starbucks wasn't feeling comfortable to try things off-the-UKmenu, so I usually order normal latte instead. But Jade made us a royal customer to this Starbucks(which is a bit far from our hotel). We were really surprised that she came to our table, checking the flavor and inviting us to come back more often so that she can make it better next time. (Whilst it's already 90% close to the regular one in Tokyo at the first time) I wasn't expecting this Deansgate Starbucks to be my favorite coffee shop in Manchester but now, because of Jade, this particular Starbucks stood out! Highly recommend here to every expat as long as Jade works here. I'm sure you will find the beauty of international chain store here, consistent, flavorful, and reasonable-priced drinks with charisma!

I love this spot for a quiet coffee and for doing work. The downstairs seating area offers a cosy and comfy spot to sit down and enjoy your coffee whilst also offering free wifi which enables you to submit work. Perfect!

Friendly and welcoming little cafe. Lovely coffee, good service, best cakes. We had the banana bread -moist, spiced and topped with nuts and seeds- and an iced lemon polenta cake also delicious.

The service & staff were pleasant. The food was little better than mediocre. The most outstanding aspect of this experience of eating at Greggs, Cherry St Birmigham was the filthy condition. There were straws on the seats. Servietes on the floor and ripped up sugar containers, all littering the floor. The place wasn't that big and would only have taken 3 or 4 minuets to clean. I asked how they can serve people food in such a dirty environment. I was told they were too busy to clean. I said what about the 2 people in the back, that I could clearly see. She siad do you want to go and ask them? I declined. They have got their priorities wrong. Clean first, serve food second, but then I suppose it's all about making money. I certainly won't go back, and nor will I go to another Greggs.

I had the vegan breakfast which exceeded my expectations, although I felt the placement of a spring roll and falafel was quite random. It was the first time I tried tofu and it was extremely nice. Even the toast was spot on! For £6, it was good value for money, especially knowing I could eat everything in the cafe without having to worry. The smoothies were nice too, but were a bit more like juice since they weren’t as thick as a smoothie. I really enjoyed the vibe of the cafe as everyone was so friendly there, it really reminded me of a cafe I used to work at with its chill atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back. They’re also on this fantastic app called ‘Too Good To Go’ which gives you the food a place has leftover at the end of the day at a reduced price so that it doesn’t go to waste! Definitely check it out if you want to save food from being wasted, or just fancy a surprise for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Revisited the cafe a couple of times last year. First in Oct where I had a sausage and egg on toast and some tea. Nothing remarkable as the sausage was of the cheap variety. Bought a couple of slices of the fruit cake which looked nice to take away and it wasn't bad! Staff were really nice and there was seating at the back, beyond the store front. Second time was for breakfast after a morning walk. We ordered 2 breakfasts - can't remember which but they were huge! Very impressed when it arrived and the sausages were of much better quality. Very pleased with what we had then but sadly the cafe isn't open as early now so we can't really go before work like we were able to in the past. The cafe has been closed for a while now but hopefully we will be able to visit for brekkie when it reopens.
