Starbucks in Kettering

Got there 30 be mins before closing…looked like it was closed as all cakes etc were packed away, so I checked they were open. Took a bit to prepare food and drinks …a few more customers came in and were served & whilst everyone was eating the guy serving said were shut now so you all need to leave. Toilets were unclean and no toilet paper. Such an unfriendly welcome, and unlike any other Starbucks I go to, I won’t be going back!

chloe 5 stars goes out her way and young ash good at there jobs. ive been here a few times now and they make you fell welcome.

Used to love Starbucks but now that you have stopped doing the marmite and cheese panini, which disappointed me and I won’t be coming so often now and don’t be Icoming back: bring them back!

Best expresso’s in my humble opinion. Bit pricey though. To be honest, now they’re no longer doing the cheese and marmite things, I have switched to Costa.

We were staying at the Travelodge next to this starbucks so we had breakfast here a couple of times. It was clean and service was good. I would not hesitate to return.

Visited Starbucks today for a treat for me and my granddaughter. The place was dirty and very uninviting, looked like a truckers stop. The quality of the drinks and food was ok but the hot chocolate was a warm chocolate. The cakes and pastries looked stale. There was only two staff serving both the indoor and drive through so I had to wait a while. One of the girls took a phone call whilst trying to make hot drinks hence I guess mine was only warm not to say this was a safety issue. Would not recommend it and won’t be going back.

Coffee and service were fine. It was the filthy seating area and toilets that I take issue with (and I don’t use that word lightly. I was staying next door at the travel lodge (who I suspect may have the same cleaners) and had a take out coffee on the first day. On the second my mum and I sat in for breakfast before hitting the road. It was around 8:45am, so the cafe had only been open for over an hour and was quite quiet. When we took a seat it was apparent that the floor had not been swept let alone mopped in quite some time. The sun was streaming in showing dust and crumbs everywhere. The glass light fittings had also been neglected with cobwebs and dust all over them (maybe saving money on Halloween decor?). The toilets weren’t much better. The sanitary ware appeared clean but cobwebs, spiderwebs and dust occupied every corner. At the best of times this would be very poor. In the middle of a pandemic it’s appalling.

Very disappointed in stopping here. It had dirty and smelly toilets. The staff are not phased when explaining, as they say they are aware of the problem It was never like that when it was run by Little Chef. We will not be stopping there for a break in the future.

This Starbucks has gone downhill. There are 5 staff on duty and I was one of eight customers. The floor is unswept, the tables uncleared the machines and counter tops are dirty and covered in dust. The staff are unenthusiastic doing just enough to serve. Those that work here might do well to remember there are many competitors locally.

This is a new bright clean Starbucks in a great location if you are heading North in the A14 past Kettering. It was clean and well organised and the staff attended to our food and drink needs. Unfortunately I then had the displeasure to visit the gents. On entering the smell of urine was almost overwhelming. There were pools of wee under every urinal. I think the most disappointing thing was when I made the effort to point out the smell to one of the staff. Rather than saying thank you, I’ll look into it she said they had been cleaned but always smelt like that because of the toilets position in relation to the sewer!! Shame as I think s bottle of bleach and a mop would sort it.
