Starbucks in Aberdeen City

Says it closes at 10 but just been turned away AGAIN at 9:20? this is becoming a joke now as me and my partner have encountered this over 10 times, we finish work late and look forward to having our coffee but it seems like the staff get to chose when they want to serve/close, maybe just change the closing time to 9 rather than wasting our time and money.

Drivethru orders - these are not always consistent, quality can vary for day to day. Staff are always polite and seem friendly & cheery. Food - Only ever bought the cake pops & muffins they are both amazing!

This is by far the most well run Starbucks Drive thru i have ever been to in the UK, i generally walk-in rather than drive thru and in a lot of Starbucks Drive thru's that i visit they never have enough staff working to deal with walk-ins, However, the Wellington Circle Starbucks is amazing !! Plenty of friendly, helpful staff on duty - never more than a 5 minute wait !!! Superb guys keep it going !!!! I love it !!!

We had an issue with our Starbucks app and got charged for an order when the store was closed, went back the next day and got served by CJ who was a gem. Helped us sort the issue and got our drinks we missed out on! We’ve had him a few times and he’s so lovely! Made our day

Had a croissant here and it was rough. Possibly the worst I have ever been offered. Staff are very helpful but that's about it

My and my kids visited this morning before school. We enjoy it and I can see the staff work very hard to satisfy the early morning demand. Plus still have time to make a nice flat-white for me 👍 Thanks to them

Needs upgrading. Some of the seats were grubby, and there were a few tables that needed clearing.

Went in on a Saturday mid-afternoon and the place was packed. The staff stayed calm and dealt with the large amount of customers with a smile on their face and were very pleasant.

Abit chilly to sit in as went later in evening need to turn off AC now seeing its October? They open till 9pm but locked the main door entrance at 8/8.15pm so you can't get in unless you use drive through? Its abit off when you can clearly see people sitting inside and you want a coffee if you don't have a car ? Had nice coffees ☕ love tje pumpkin 🎃 flavours

Typical Starbucks...... Clean, friendly, swift and decent coffee. Plenty of parking here

I didn’t even get to taste my drink as the drive thru operator failed to give me a working lid and so my drink spilled everywhere all over my car. You would think a big chain company like Starbucks would at least be able to give you a usable f*cking lid

It was time to edit my review as it doesn't apply anymore. Think they've thankfully had a change in management because recently service has been great. Staff are lovely now, friendly and efficient ad it's a busy shop so they work hard but still take the time to smile and provide the best service they can. I now go regularly, order through the app, pop in and collect, simple. No longer boycotting the place and driving all the way to Westhill for my Starbucks so whatever changes you made several months ago please keep it up! Thank you xxx

Second try and absolutely filthy. We were popping into ikea so thought ok let’s try this Starbucks again, I use them everywhere and have gold on my app. Omg it’s awful the worst. Behind the counter 6 members of staff . Not one priority from any of them to keep the seating area clean. Not one unaccompanied table clean , floor covered in residue food, I cleaned a table and said come on guys can someone perhaps clean up, young girl came out and wiped our table, one squirt of spray and a wipe. Omg really!!!. Avoid this we definitely won’t use it again. I hope Starbucks look into this shambles of a badly run franchise. Have a member of staff on each shift cover tables and floor space!!!! It’s not hard . If people can’t sit they will go elsewhere.other cafes manage to stay clean . Avoid

I love that Aberdeen finally has a drive thru Starbucks however 50% of the time they don’t have any oat milk and today they weren’t serving cold brew either. You need to do better Starbucks.

I like Starbucks…but this one needs a wee bit of help! Every time I come to this Starbucks it’s full of people and also full of tables laden with dirty dishes. Today one table was stacked with dishes as customers cleared the dirties to this table so they could sit down at a semi- clean clear table. The dirty mop bucket sits in the hall near the rear door and the dust overhead on the warehouse type ceiling needs attention. Honestly, Starbucks…there is no reason for dirt! Clean it up!

I ordered a sausage BAP and the top of the bun was rock solid. If I'm honest it was that hard I could of knocked it off a wall. But I was so hungry I ate it because I was waiting 20 minutes for the drinks to come. I should of took it back. Absolutely shocking!

Looking for awful customer service? Then this is the right place! Came here today before leaving on a journey, and was met with a rather rude employee. Informed me rather bluntly that they didn’t have what I was after and then when I ordered something else I had to repeat things multiple times only for the order to still be wrong! When I tried to inform them so it could be sorted they walked away! Having worked in customer service for over 7 years and worked for Starbucks themselves I understand it can be stressful, but the place was practically empty and the order wasn’t difficult. I appreciate bad days happen, but that’s not how Starbucks trains their employees to be! Thanks Ben… for nothing

It was fine for a quick coffee. Busy, and plenty parking.

Great food and drinks but, cleaning during quiet periods could be more focused on. Came the other night and only myself and one other customer were in, 5 staff members but, nobody cleaning. One was using his phone behind the till.

Orders 2 drinks on app and never got what I ordered and to make things worse they tried to serve me a half full venti and when I complained I was told it was for safety but the other venti was full so they are ripping customers off deliberately as when I tried to talk with the manager his attitude was absolutely shocking and when I asked for area manager he said call head office so my advice is check your drinks

Just what you expect from Starbucks. Everything done properly, it's open a lot of hours and it's always open when it's meant to be unlike small cafes in this area that just do whatever they feel like. Parking outside, staff are pleasant. If you don't mind a corporate cafe this is a good one.

Been at the drive through twice this week once it took 25 minutes for 3 coffees and being the front of the queue, no apologies for the wait and the coffee was cold, sat in once and the shop floor looked filthy, uncleaned tabled etc

Been a few times lately staff always pleasent but sometimes forgetful coffee the best toasties also great. I look up to the roof and I can see several cobwebs surely these can be taken down also there is soap dispenser in one of the toilets been broken for weeks.

They know what they're doing ré location, this place so handy just before you get on the motorway. Clean and new, the usual Starbucks selection, nice staff.

Welcoming staff, variety of food on offer and coffee absolutely! The one thing drawn my attention is the naked warehouse type ceilling of the cafe, lot of dusts were visible. So while dine in, I was bit of concerned if some of those dust particle may fall.

Sunday morning not even 9am and there are seven cars in the queue which has taken over ten minutes to get our coffee. Looks like there are only two staff working in the shop. We visit here at least twice a week and the service and the staff are for the most part utterly shocking. If staff don’t want to work there then find another job. Yet again, another bad experience at this Starbucks.

Quick visit to this shop opposite Altons Hotel in Aberdeen. We ordered hot chocolate. It was very good smooth milky hot chocolate.

Poor customer service, poor selection of products, untrained and uncommunicative staff. When you have finally negotiated the language barrier your drink is served cold. Too many coffee shops in the world to waste your time on this one

That's the 4th time I've been given the wrong order from this drive through. (Over 3 months) ask for small get regular size, and it just has no flavour because it's more diluted. Mad how they can get such a simple thing wrong........dont know if it's a poor kitchen layout or menu issue or just staff problem.

Lovely cake display (although I can’t have any but it looked good!) and they have gluten free Ham and cheese paninis. friendly barista made my coffee :)

Coffee ok but no gluten free biscuits or cakes. Pretty poor these days. How hard would it be to have packaged gluten free biscuit?!

I've always liked Starbucks coffee and they've got a great selection as do most of the chain. Staff are really pleasant and the service was top notch.

My lattes are always perfect, croissants always warm and soft. I always have it delivered and I’ve NEVER had a problem with my food or drinks. THE BEST!

Not the best in terms of quality but fast service.

We sat in to have coffee and cake. The cakes were really good. So was the coffee. However, the coffee was lukewarm. The lady at the till took my order wrong. Overall, the staff are friendly but should pay more attention to what customers ask for. It wasn't busy at the time so there was no excuse.

Came in for 2 slices lemon drizzle cake and 2 cups tea, received our tea and the girl serving went and dud something else had ask for the cakes, all the time the tea was stewing away, then eventually received cakes guy put the plates with the cakes over top of spilt milk had also ask for sugar and if we coukd dispose of the teabags , very unorganised

Honestly this starbucks is the slowest drive-thru ever. The queues are always rediculous due to this fact and the time it takes you to get through the drive thru and actually come out with even a single drink is rediculous. I use other drive-thrus in the area and never wait anywhere near as long as you do at this one. They may be short staffed but I know people who have applied for jobs here and not even had a response back so.....

Tried the past two nights and it’s been closed long before the closing time it advertises, stop advertising something that isn’t true absolute waste of time

This location is pretty good when it's open, but I've gone three evenings in the past fortnight and they've been shut prematurely. It's says they updated their hours 5 days ago, and should be open until 10 pm, but it's not even 8:30 pm and they're already shut. Please either update your hours accurately, or stop closing over an hour early.

Did a drive through. Was great. Food was fresh and coffee made just as we like

Every time week have gone here recently we have been turned away or been drive through only and tonight no service after 7.30pm doesn't close till 10pm.

Great single shot grande latte, strawberry cream frap and cookie/cream muffin. Latte mug also full to top. Great 👍

The few times I've been, the drive thru has been pretty busy. Quicker to park your car and order inside.

The coffee and other drinks have been getting really bad lately in this particular starbucks. It used to be my fav spot as they accept dogs and the parking there is very convenient, however, the coffee is never good and queues goes really slow.

Was here for lunch today with my sister, we ordered our lunch and coffees, got our purchases and found a seat, then I noticed I never got sugar with my coffee. I stood at the counter and was ignored, meantime my sister found some sugar on the counters that isn’t being used at the moment due to COVID safety! Then a gent that was sitting taking up a seat when the restaurant was busy came over and spoke to us like children saying that we wasn’t to touch anything due to we could pass on COVID. Really disappointed on how he spoke to us, and when I said surly there should be a sign up telling us then?which he then produced from under the counter, and surly we should have been asked at the counter when we ordered or picked up our drinks! I work in retail myself and operate a strict COVID procedure so I know the score and get tested twice a week but the way we was spoken to here today, I won’t be back!! Very poor show

No cocoa or cinnamon for cappuccino. Seems quite expensive too.

We called in here for a coffee while our EV was on charge at the nearby Shell service station. Obviously, due to covid there are some restrictions but the staff were very friendly and we had a very nice coffee and a bit of naught cake. Ideal place to head to while your EV picks up some kW's !
